“Recently found Los Encantos and are so impressed with the food...we have already gone back three times. We have tried the Campagna, Russian Rye, Insane bread (which is my favorite) and the Pretzel rolls which are a the best I have ever had. I highly recommend them for any baked goods!“
“Absolutely love this place! The owner is so kind and friendly, and the prices can’t be beat anywhere. They have a small but competitively priced selection of other grocery items in addition to the discounted bread, cookies, muffins, etc. They even have a rewards stamp card that can earn a stamp per $10 spent, a full punch card getting 5 items off the back wall. A highly convenient place to help stretch my grocery budget. Thanks!“
“I buy all my bread here for my household and freeze the extras. I also love the fact they have farm bread since we raise pigs. The ladies are always amazing and helpful. I've been coming here for years and I'll keep coming back. The parking lot it smaller, but it usually only has 1-2 cars whenever I go there.“
“Excellent donuts. Fast and friendly service. Great selection. Buy local! Love the chocolate sprinkle.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options, but no gluten free.Kid-friendliness: Display window is the perfect height for kids to pick out their favorites.“
“Continuing my food tour of the PNW, Saboteur Bakery has been coined the best bakery in the Kingston Area. It is tucked away in a small shop in Bremerton downtown. I was skeptical because I am a little bit of bakery connoisseur. I was not disappointed by the expectations that were set for me. This bakery was popping when I arrived due to heavy foot traffic. The almond croissant was literally warm when I purchased it. The frangipane onto was perfectly crisped and topped with the toasted almonds was balanced with the soft inside filling. The pear brioche danish was just as good because the crackling on the sides also matched with the soft inside to give the pastry texture. Both of the pastries were well worth the drive and I would be willing to go again. The reason that I took one star off is because I was slightly disappointed with the choice of pastries. I had heard that weekly there is a special bakery item that they keep in the fridge (this is only available on the weekends). I was disappointed that there was no way that I could have known in advance to drive there on Saturday instead of Friday. Maybe I am not aware of something that locals are?“
“Cake was amazing!! Service was great as well (: Chocolate cake tasted like Oreo and the vanilla cake tasted like twinkies! There was two cakes one with chocolate and the other with vanilla since they couldn't do a marble cake sadly . But overall cakes were great!!“
“If you're in Bainbridge Island, make sure to see if this farm stand is open and pick up a loaf of sourdough! Regular sourdough loaves run about $8 and specialty loaves run around $10. Bring cash or check (there's a money box you can drop off in), or she also accepts Venmo (just beware there might not be cell service). You can also pre-order or sign up for a plan at her website.“
“TLDR; super long and slow lines, really nice pastries. When we got here (9.30am), the line probably had 7-8 groups ahead of us, and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I got the savory croissant which was overall pretty quite nice. Unfortunately it felt a bit oily (not buttery) to me - I let it sit in the paper bag for a couple hours, after which it was perfect since the bag soaked up all the extra oil/butter.“
“Arrived later in the day and they were open and still had a great selection of donuts that were fresh and delicious. The options were unique while still having traditional favorites. Personally the banana split donut was a little on the sweet side for me but I know many people enjoy that. The maple bacon, cream cheese, and key lime donuts were amazing. Look forward to returning and trying some other flavors as well.“
“Since moving to Washington, I've heard about the great coffee scene. However, most places in Kitsap Peninsula are drive-thrus. I prefer sitting in a cafe, so finding Urban City Brew Co was a pleasant surprise. Despite having a drive-thru, their coffee is delicious with a unique menu. The excellent customer service made me feel appreciated. They even have a picnic table outside, offering a nice spot to enjoy your coffee with a view. Maybe I've been doing it wrong—coffee outdoors seems to be the way to go.“
“We were visiting the island and we googled this bakery place. It sent our expectations. They have the most fresh sandwiches, soups and donuts. The owner was super friendly and all of her staff and gave us recommendations on where to go on the island of best lobster roll. They also had the best coffee that did not elevate your heart beat.. will be coming again soon.“
“The chai was okay, but the pastries we got were so good. The cheesecake has a much thicker crust which I prefer and the flavors tasted like a crisp fall day. We also got the chocolate croissant and a blueberry muffin. All very good, and good value. Plentiful seating indoor and outdoor.“
“I tried Bella Bella cupcakes for dessert tonight. I wanted to try three different kinds, so I ordered a classic carrot cake standard cupcake, a carrot cake cheesecake mini cupcake, and a chocolate chocolate mini cupcake. When I got home I realized that I had a classic carrot cake standard cupcake and a classic carrot cake mini cupcake. An understandable mistake, but disappointing, especially given the prices and the fact that I live pretty far away. The business has very pretty decor, and the people were really nice. I mentioned that I don't like hard sprinkles, and was told that if I call ahead of time, they can custom decorate them for me. It's worth the prices to just get a few little treats since I don't have a family and I don't want to bake a whole bunch just for myself, but they just tasted like regular cupcakes. Next time I'll have to try a more exotic flavor.“
“They have a beautiful selection of cakes in various sizes and flavors! Lots of goodies to add to them along with small gifts and cards. The staff was so helpful, informative and patient. It was FUN. And the cakes are soooooo good!!!! We will be back.“
“what a wonderful unplanned stop this afternoon. enjoyed a small portion of the drinking chocolate, it was decent. The bonbons however, were fantastic. My personal favorite was the peanut butter raspberry, yuzu was a close second, but all were great flavors! Beautiful colors, and special packaging. A great shop for a special gift!“
“The Silverdale (WA) location is always immaculately clean. The staff isn’t over enthusiastic but are always polite and professional. It could be that most of our visits happen at night and they’re just tired. Never a bad experience though! The cookies are always great and so far the Smores and the Tres Leche have been my faves. Enjoy checking the menu weekly for something new to try. Highly recommend this location! Get your Crumbl!!“
“we drove by tgisblittle town. the bakery is amazing. we got a dark caramel chocolate turtle with seasalt, pecan pie and mini cheesecake. all of them are so tasty!! wish we bought more stuff there!Dietary restrictions: there is gluten free.cakes“
“We decided to stop by for brunch on the weekend. The owner was so friendly and generous. Was disappointed to find out that do not serve savory crepes, but they make amazing sweet crepes and sugar cookies. We were both psyched to see an Eagles cookie, and bonded with the store owner, chatting occasionally while we ate.We ate in the dining portion, which is partitioned from the kitchen by the check out counter. It is filled with simple 2 person tables, and the owner was kind enough to refill our water for us.We had a great time and will be sure to come back.Vegetarian options: Menu is full of sweet crepes, and desserts. All vegetarian.Parking: Parking designated by signs in the gravel parking lot next to the shop.“
“I don’t even know how to put into words how amazing the food is here. Oh my god. The baker is so incredibly skilled, she has raw talent to make superbly delicious food. I always opt for the vegan options, but the smell of everything is infectious. Please never ever stop baking!!“
