The panco Batter was crispy and the fish was thin cut yet firm enough to dip, in a word: EXCELLENT. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). “Delicious. The owner is very kind and friendly, the food is fresh, feels homemade, as if I were a guest in his home. I am not familiar with Honduran food, but the Honduran enchiladas to me are more comparable to the tostada in form. The mashed potato was a surprise and a fun twist to my inexperienced palate. The sauce on top of the cabbage adds an extra dimension, balancing the meat with a pleasant acidity that beckons me to take the next bite.We also ordered the quesa birria con consomme, which was a huge portion packed with slow-roasted beef, melted cheese, and a lovely dipping broth.The owner mentioned the recipes were passed down several generations. That was the theme across their dishes, a respect and reverence for what came before, treating everyone as a friend, and welcoming you to their casa with a great meal.“
“If you want something good and quick for dinner - this is the place! I've been here twice now and will keep coming back. I've gotten pizza and now the beef/lamb gyro and both are just delicious. The pizza has a really good wood-fired crust and the right ratio of toppings. Its better than some off the other local pizza joints... The gyro is super flavorful and the portion is real generous. And the French fries are just as good as the other things. I'll be back :)“

Specifically the venison and pork belly skewers are a must. It took just one bite to taste the abundance of flavor.Drink choices are solid as well; the blonde ale I had tasted fine. “A consistently good, but rarely exceptional brewery. Perhaps my expectations are too high due to the history, head brewer, etc for this brewery, but I was expecting some truly fantastic IPAs. While all of the IPAs on tap were definitely above average, nothing blew us away in the way we hoped. Cloudburst definitely knows what they are doing, though. I expect them to be a pillar of Seattle brewing for the foreseeable future. Staff was fine, but not particularly friendly or knowledgeable. While we went in the middle of winter, it was approximately the same temperature inside as it was outside as well. There are a few kinks to work out as far as service goes.“

“The baristas here have finally won my heart. I was once a Diva regular, but since I lost my daughter to suicide I couldn't bear to go. We then switched to Lighthouse, which is closer, and has great coffee, but it always felt distant. The other day I ended up spilling to the "crow tat" guy. He's a no nonsense fella who remembers people and drinks, but says little. Today I went and he bought my coffee. Actions, not words. I can respect that.“

It is a really nice space and has a nice outdoor area and is in a great neighborhood. The neighborhood has a 1990s nostalgic light feeling, in a way that the other parts of Seattle do not currently have anymore. “What a nice little dinner spot! Drinks were amazing. Ceasars salad left something to be desired but the pizza redeemed it. Excellent flavor choices, thin crisp crust, and great sauce. My only gripe was there was so much flour on the bottom of the pies. Also a woman was actively doing parking enforcement while we were sitting outside, which made the whole scene a little weird at times. Overall not a bad spot, would definitely return.“
“Food: we stopped by this quaint town of Port Gamble. Didn't even know this place existed! This is a place NOT to be missed if you are in the mood for sweets. We wanted something sweet and looked up this place. Super cute town driving in, beautiful view of the water. We ordered : the almond raspberry cake, strawberry shortcake, lemon bar, and lemon cheesecake. The almond raspberry cake was so moist, not overly sweet, fresh whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and topped with some crunchy almonds, just the right amount of sweetness! Strawberry shortcake was just like grandma made it. The strawberries were just the right sweetness, fresh whipped cream, crop lu shortcake made the right way so it socks up the strawberries goodness! Lemon bar was sweet and tart equally. The crust had the right amount of crunch and buttery goodness. Lemon cheesecake was creamy and lemony dreamy! Service was friendly and helpful. They were quick and super patient as we decided what to get. This cute old gas station like spot had a nostalgic feel. Definitely will be back for their food and more dessert!“

“The Cozy Nut is a hidden gem in Greenwood and it is quite cozy! This is one local bar that we always end up at. It's so inviting, and the staff is great each time we are in there. I'm so glad they survived after covid because we were worried there for a minute. Sip on delicious draft beer, wine, or perhaps a classic Manhattan which is my go to every time I go in there. The cozy ambiance makes it an ideal spot to unwind after a long day or to go on a date. Prices here are democratic, offering great value for what you receive. “I was looking for a bakery that can make the Annaprasan Cake for our daughter's rice feeding. It is a hindu cultural ceremony for the first rice feeding of baby besides milk. I was not able to find places that can do it, since this is not common around here. However I contacted this place, and chatted with Stephenie on phone, and she asked me to send design pic/idea on phone. I sent couple images to her, and she made exactly the same, or I will have to say even better. Cake was very tasty as well, not just the look. “One of my FAVORITE things I did in Seattle! Bainbridge Vinyards is the only winery on the island that grows all its own grapes, and grows them all on the island! The tasting fee is only$18 for 4 tastings. We shared one, and the man pouring was so friendly and gave us a smidge more each pour because we shared. It worked and we obvs ended up buying more glasses, lol. The tasting takes you through some really unique wines. They offer snacks too, and allow you to bring your own. You sit on the patio or can even move closer to the vines and eat amongst the grapes! If I lived here I would come here every weekend. It was so peaceful and idyllic. It should be noted, do not be fooled by the bus route which seems like it will take you close enough you can walk. The bus in Bainbridge is impossible, did not come when it was supposed to, and we luckily got an uber (I guess there are only a few on the island, so don't depend on uber). During the drive, I realized how treacherous walking from the bus stop would've been! Do not rely on public transportation or uber to get you here! Rent a car or call a car service if you are from out of town!!“

“My wife and I were walking by The Saucy Sailer a few days ago and a young woman working there asked if I wanted a sample of the Cottage Pie. I said sure. I took the sample and we continued walking as I tasted the sample of the Cottage Pie. All it took was one taste and I said to my wife, this is absolutely delicious. I had to have more. When we finished our walk on the beach we returned to the Saucy Sailer and told her how much I liked it and we bought three meals, one for my neighbors, and two for us. I just had some of the Cottage Pie tonight for dinner and it was so so so good. YUMMY. TWO THUMBS UP. FIVE STARS. All I can say is go get some!!!
