“I went to this restaurant by myself on a trip to La Conner. As I was by myself I decided to sit at the bar. Didn't want to take up a table. I honestly prefer sitting at the bar anyway. This bar was small and the bartender was quite busy with drinks. I'm a little unsure about the size of the bar. I don't remember at this point. I went here during brunch which is one of my least favorite times to dine out, but I was there and hungry. I can cook breakfast at home. I know how to make poached eggs and blender hollandaise. I was extremely happy to find a corned beef Ruben on the menu. It's been a while since I visited so excuse some details. I prefer pastrami Reuben's, but you can't go wrong with corned in-house beef. The sandwich was a little greasy. It's what you expect from this dish. Greasy, a little messy, delicious corned beef. Great level of sauerkraut and not too much thousands on the sandwich. I think the fries are made in house. I remember either way they were very high quality. Comfortable, clean, and modern. I was surprised by the lack of interaction the bartender had with me. I used to be a bartender. Part of your job as a bartender is to entertain your customer. I had a mocktail and it was great. So she was good at making drinks. Then she started cleaning bottles. I'm sitting at the bar by myself as a single woman. You're a woman too. Talk to me a bit. Part of your job as a bartender is to be social. Not sure if that is a restaurant policy or not. ABC possibly - always be cleaning. That's why I usually go to restaurants for happy hour. I was happy to see this place serving dishes besides breakfast during the happy hour time period. The Reuben was delicious!“

“The best place EVER to go to eat for midday lunch or dinner. My husband and I have been coming 20 years to this restaurant. We had the best service today by Nate. This was our first interaction with him and he was a phenomenal server. He had great customer service, was personable and expedient, he made it more than a meal an experience. Will continue to come back as always but now in hope to have service from him or like his. The food is extraordinary. The ceasers are always crisp. His double lemon drop is fantastic. A must go to experience for service and environment.“

I’ve been here for dinner and then just yesterday for brunch and both times the food and service was EXCEPTIONAL.Yesterday they accommodated 14 of us for a surprise Birthday Brunch and Kim specifically went above and beyond to ensure our mimosas were never empty, that she knew how the check would be split up, took photos of our group, and somehow she and the kitchen made sure all of our food came out within 5 minutes and that all of it was EXACTLY what we ordered and tasty. Best service I’ve ever had for a large group of people.“

Grilled salmon is a must if you're looking for something lighter. I usually hate carrots and most chefs don't cook sugar snaps very well. I finished both veggies, they were fantastic. My husband enjoyed the Cobb as well. The staff helps each other out and are very friendly to customers. I would recommend this restaurant over the Cafe in the Casino. And I would definitely return for the Poutine.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible, tables available“

Everything about the service and food was positive. The Majestic is truely a hidden gem for Anacortes. Other restruants should visit your hotel to learn how to cook and serve great meals. “This place was true to what it outwardly portrays so five stars. Mid week noonish it was full of old people, bus loads from the assisted living center, senior bowling teams, garden club meetings, old geezers talking about the good old days, Boeing old timers monthly lunches, I'm making the details up but that's what it felt like. It was nice, my chicken Cesar salad was great, my friend's omelette was great, the coffee was good, the waitress was on top of things, we had fun. We're retired, too.“

“It was our first time trying the place after driving by so many times. The two waitresses were smoking outside at the front door so when we walked in they did too with their smoker odor in tow. That was a turn off at the start. Very 1980's vibe, original oak/wooden booths and 80's decor but clean. We got breakfast, the Millworker and a veggie omelette. It was a fluffy omlette, done well and it has onions, green peppers and mushrooms. It was filled with onions, way too many and it would be great to have different veggies or more but all in all good. My husband thought his was great, as ordered.“

Blueberry pancakes loaded with blueberries, which also came with 2 eggs, and 3-4 thick slices of bacon. It's really enough for two. Husband had eggs, big sausage patty and a biscuit. “Been going here since before I can even remember. In my opinion one of the best hot chocolate in the world. Have only ever disliked one dish, that being the macaroni and cheese. Every staff member I have encountered is very sweet. Service is timely, as well as wait time usually. It can get pretty busy, and crowded. Which obviously makes the restaurant very loud, and lively which might throw some people off. However, I personally have rarely felt uncomfortable here. Overall, food, service, and environment is pretty great. I definitely recommend this place to most people.Kid-friendliness: I remember when I was younger they had a kids menu, and kids sized drinks with take home reusable cups. I'm not sure if they provide this anymore, however, they are very kid friendly anyways. The bar isn't separate from all dining spaces, however, it's semi separated from the entrance dining area via railing. And completely away from the main sitting area, as well as outdoor seating. If thats of any concern. This establishment has always been very kindly to children.“
