“This is a good coffee shop with a neighborhood feel. The quality has slipped over the years, a casualty of growth I would guess. Most patkirons assume everything is made in house. It is not. They serve offerings from several local bakeries. Some good (the cinnamon rolls) some not so good (the quiche). The coffee is quite excellent. For now, we will remain patrons, so long as they keep dogs and other creatures outside.“

“Morning staff not so great, though afternoon staff are awesome. Though they have been known to disrespect my son regularly by questioning his origins. They have told me flat-out he is not my son which hurts my feelings. Finally, I hate the fact they raise prices because I have to pay the workers pay raises.“

“The coffee is good, very good, but the draw here really is that it is in the The Saranac Commons. That means you can enjoy your coffee in a nice wide open space while eating a pastry or a slice of pizza.. Service was friendly, though the attention to the drink means waiting a bit.“

“It's a small place and you most likely will have to wait a little while but it's worth it. Everything they have is good. The potatoes they serve are not frozen. The service is as good as the food. You're not sitting there waiting and waiting for your food. They even make their own strawberry jam and syrup! Great place with great food!“

“I continue to enjoy the consistency of product and culture for which Roast House is known. Their primary roasting facility on East Cleveland in Spokane is centrally located and my preference for whole bean purchase, but other outlets like My Fresh Basket are great go-to's after normal business hours.“

“Love the old brickwork inside. There’s a Variety of seating options: bar stool, couches, table & chair. The Big windows in front allow for lots of sunlight to come in. It’s a neat atmosphere with the large bean-roaster in the back. They have specials for you to save money too :)“

“I've never been here in person but we order espresso beans (Lofty Skies blend) monthly for our home espresso. They typically roast and ship our order within a day or less of placing it. When the beans get to us here in Texas they are about a week old or less and at optimal flavor. We love these beans! The flavor and quality is superior and they are very affordable compared to other roasteries. You've got a happy customer here!“

I want to share the love, but I don't want it to get busier than it already is My husband and I have been loyal customers for years. The employees know what we're going to order before we even get to the window. This might not seem too impressive, but we moved to the other side of the state over a year ago. We recently were back in the area and decided to stop by. They still remembered our drinks and breakfast items. The food is always good, the drinks are perfect. “This place gets five stars because of their MOCHAS. They are the best mochas you can get, because they are made of their own chocolates, and you can order milk, semi-sweet, or bittersweet! The bittersweet mocha has such good actually DARK chocolate flavor.As for their chocolates, they are good as well, but definitely a bit pricey. One thing I appreciate though is that their chocolate is soy-free! My husband can't have soy and almost all chocolate products contain soy lecitin. They use sunflower if I recall correctly.“

“I've always loved Kitty Cantina and the opportunity to play with all of the kitties. The food and drinks are always good and the kitties make for a fun environment. I love that the Cafe has completely separate air circulation from the cat room - my friend that's allergic to cats was able to dine without a problem. The greatest part about Kitty Cantina is the way they adopt out the cats. I recently adopted a little one from them and I was able to see my cats personality in this environment. In a traditional shelter environment you don't get the same experience. I have to believe that this formula ensures a greater record of adoption success than the traditional shelter.“

There is only two stands in my neighborhood but this one is the only one that has my kind of lotus.
