“This place is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall. No tables, only a counter with 7 seats so a lot of customers do take-out. The had more workers (8) than customers (7). Ordered our favorites pad see ew and yellow curry. Food was ready in 15 minutes and we headed to the nearby park by the river to eat. Pad see ew was excellent. Good flavor, beef was tender and I even liked the veggies. Wife loved the yellow curry. Good portion sizes.“

“We visited at the Tulip Festival Street Fair, so everything was outside. We got a plate with 4 different dishes. I liked 2 of them a lot, a third was decent, and one was meh. I'm sure it would've been amazing inside the restaurant with more control over food temp as well as order timing. The order came in chunks so there was a wait for the fried foods. Waiting for those meant not eating the order stuff while it was hot. Anyway. Street fair food isn't as great as controlled in a restaurant food.“

“I enjoyed the food here! Definitely expensive, but honestly one of the only good places to eat after the tulip festival, and I'm sure they know that too.I got the pollo a la parilla and it was delicious and kept me energized for the rest of the day.Service was quick and food was relatively quick too.I'd definitely recommend if you don't mind paying the extra cost. Check out the donuts across the street once you're done.“
“This was just the place we were looking for. Dog friendly, lots of space and nice setup. The cook came out to talk to us a couple times about our baby's dietary allergies, even bringing the ingredient packages for us to check. That's definitely a first, and we felt truly pampered! The oatmeal stout was delicious. We'll definitely go out of our way to visit again.“

“Portion size of food is great plus it tastes great a bit pricey but worth it. I wish more sitting areas were available- (small space), a very busy little place especially on weekends-Parking: Parking at the main building is open but a bit tight so I parked in front of D&D grocery store (closed) plus side of store is public parking that's available as well“

“Best breakfast burrito in the greater Skagit area! I'm a bit of a breakfast burrito junkie and I full time RV so I've tried breakfast burritos from all over northwest Washington and this place makes the best one I've found hands down. Get the avocado sauce to go with it. Btw, I didn't see a breakfast burrito in their menu so just ask for it.“

“Wife and I got exactly what we expected tonight: A great meal out in the country in a family owned restaurant. A very good value. We ate every bite. I love old buildings with culture and history within them. This is a place for regular hard working people.Vegetarian options: They do garden burgers and loaded baked potatoKid-friendliness: Lots of dad jokes, not much swearing, not a rap music kind of crowd.“

“I can't go 5 stars when I only really like one thing here, but I do highly recommend the following: 1. Get the spicy salsa to mix in with their classic bland stuff...and put the chip seasoning on your chips! 2. Order the chimichanga, comes with amazing chili verde to dip it in...delicious. 3. Skip the margaritas, skip the enchiladas.“

“Went here at a time when it wasn't busy. The service was prompt, food was presentable and tasted great! Had the burrito and the steak sope. The interior is clean and decorations give it the right feel for a Mexican restaurant. Will go back to try more of the dishes, especially during dinner. Today we just ordered from a one page lunch menu which is sufficient for mid day. The lunch portion was also appropriate not to feel too heavy when returning to work. ?Kid-friendliness: Looks appropriate for kids and families.Parking: Easy to find parking on the street.“

“Couldn’t love Catrina more! Taco Tuesday is our favorite day of the week, but any day you go will be amazing. Service is always fantastic, we love the whole team! If you like rice and beans theirs are some of my favorite! Habanero salsa is a MUST if you wanna sweat a little, and you know you do. My favorite tacos are carnitas, pollo blanco, beans and cheese, and steakon. They have a wonderful selection of ample tequila and their cocktails are huge and FIRE! Can’t wait til they get their new side open.“

The Spicy Pork Bul-gogi is the best we’ve ever had! The kimchi and other side dishes were so flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be coming back here, the best Korean bbq around! Thanks for taking such great care of us Blakely. Highly recommend!“

“Really solid hamburger joint. The onion rings are phenomenal, absolutely huge and delicious. Takes a little while to get the food out, as it should with any food that isn't made ahead, a lot of people call their order in ahead of time. Would be nice if they had an online ordering option. Friendly service too!“

“This place is AMAZING. We got the Birria tacos (special of the day! 4 for $10!) and adobada burrito, and both were outstanding. The sauces on the table were on point. Each dish came with a mini tostada with beans. I will be back any time I'm even remotely close to Mt Vernon. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I've been remiss in posting reviews and so they have been stacking up! First off, Hong Kong restaurant. I'll post some good/not so good things from my perspective, and some photos! We've eaten here a number of times recently, so not all the photos were from one visit. Good: The restaurant is clean and well put together. No torn seats or carpet. Plenty of booths and a big round table with a roundy thing in the middle to spin your food off like a merry-go-round with you and all your friends flying off it when you were kids. The lounge! Just what I want in a lounge. Friendly bartender, low lighting, some music, and you can eat in there if you desire. The main restaurant; Friendly staff, multiple types of menu choices (Cantonese, Schezwan, etc). Lunch menu and dinner menu available during lunch hours. The food? Mostly delicious! The lunch menu has different combos at a reasonable price. Not So good: Not a big fan of their fried rice. It was "okay" IMO, not much seasoning, a splash or two of soy sauce woke it up nicely, but no wok char present so it really lost the smokey flavor I enjoy with fried rice.“

“We've been here a few times now and have been happy everytime. The teriyaki is the best we've found in mt vernon/burlington. The mongolian beef is good and so is the pad Thai! Still need try the Pho, but I have a feeling it'll be good as well! 100% recommend.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu!“

“Quite impressed with the variety of choices this buffet has! You can find everything including seafood, meat, veggies, fruits, desserts, sushi, soup, salads. They even had a stirfry bar where you select your ingredients and a chef stir fried it right in front of you. The price is very affordable as well (only $10.99 for lunch and $18.99 for dinner, or $6.99 for a box of takeout). The service was also very good, each section of tables had a waiter who is very attentive in clearing your used dishes and refilling your drinks. Left feeling very full, only wish I had a larger stomach so I could've tried more dishes.“

“Sweet local spot for tulip season wanderings :) Prepare for a wait - and note they don't have buzzers or a call list, they call your party name aloud so gotta stay near - but there's a cute antique store around the corner and a country shop attached. Food is pretty good, baked goods are especially great!! Cozy atmosphere, always look forward to stopping here.“

“Big Rock has had a great remodel and better selection of Togo beer and snacks. Chapala's food (best straight up street tacos in MV) and drinks, you can't go wrong. Would love to see elote or chapala's pollo asado chicken wings. Sooo happy chapala has another place! Also ate food too fast to take pictures.“

“We had a great lunch at Kelley’s BBQ. The beef brisket sandwich had a generous portion of brisket that was perfectly cooked. The bun was toasted, adding a bit of crunch. My wife loved her pulled pork sandwich. It had a lot of meat and she was full without any sides. Their cornbread was fresh out of the oven and nice and moist. We will be back. We are always looking for somewhere to eat before getting back on the ferry. We will add this to our list!“

“We had to make a quick stop for dinner after an entire day at the tulip farms. Kids were craving pizza and this was the closest one. The restaurant was getting renovations done and smelled of wood, vinyl and other construction materials...however cordoned off the area was. We ordered 1 large pan pizza and an appetizer. Both were good and tasted fresh.Staff was friendly and service was quick!“

“We stumbled upon this place while staying in Mt Vernon and we were delighted. We came early and enjoyed the early specials and happy hour. The house Chardonnay was excellent. Our server was very good and gave us time to order. He brought us some garlic bread which was really good. The early meal special came with bruschetta, choice of soup or salad and a dessert. There were several choices for the entree and we had veal piccata pasta was excellent I had tomato basil soup sister had salad. The restaurant had a nice feeling to it. Plenty of space. Didn't feel like you were sitting on top of other people while dining and easy to have a conversation. If you find your way to Mt Vernon check it out!“
