“Kudos to the crew at this location this evening! The parking lot and lobby was PACKED! They were running behind on online orders, the drive thru was just as bad. Everyone on staff kept a cool head and simply kept working. Apologies were offered for the delays, at no time was there a lack of professionalism. My order was placed online for a 5:15 pm, I checked on the order at 5:30 and was told it would be 20 more minutes. I decided to leave and come back. By the time I got back there (I gave them 30 min), the lobby was mostly cleared out, my order was ready, drive thru was still busy, but they really killed it. You guys are a great example of what teamwork is all about!“

“I had a chicken burger and Irish coffee. It's a smaller restaurant/bar and that makes it a little loud inside. If it hadn't been cold that day I would have preferred to sit at an outside table instead. The photo is not bar seating, but a small seating area near the kitchen. It's kind of cool seeing the team expediting orders.“

“An absolute gem! Great food served by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I lived in Tacoma for 20 years, but have been away for 23 years. Now back in the area, we went back to our old favorites. The so-called fine dining, well established restaurants we used to enjoy have really gone downhill! So disappointing. So glad I found Macaluso’s to celebrate our anniversary. Great food, fantastic staff that really work at serving their guests to make it an enjoyable event. Special thanks to James and Johnny! “Came into Bar Rosa with my husband tonight! FULL house! Our food and cocktails were incredible as always! Our servers were amazing! Very friendlyAnd accommodating. However there was this rude lady sitting with her family across from us complaining about the conversation of another table and how loud they were being. But honestly I didn't think they were being loud or obnoxious at all! This lady was being a total Karen. Scolded our servers as if they could control what the table talked about. They offered to move their table. Mind you the place is full and they refused. The lady tried to ask me if I thought they were being loud and I told her not at all. She gave me a rude glare for the rest of their time there. You could tell her husband was embarrassed by her shenanigans. The staff handled it very well!Best pizza and service in Tacoma! “We love coming here for absolutely delicious pizza, calzones, and sub sandwiches. It's not New York but in terms of vibe and food quality, it's the one that comes closest in Tacoma. There's a LOT of good pizza in Tacoma but this place is modest and you'd never know by looking just how good the food will be. Bonus points for serving single slices every weekday before 3 for the neighborhood high school students from the School of the Arts.Kid-friendliness: A perfect place to bring kids. Super casual and spacious.“

“Pizza time has good prices for a family. I was able to get 3 pizzas, bread sticks, and a 2 liter for around 40 bucks. The pizza is just OK. I always re cook mine in the air fryer to get it a little browner and crisper. It's a good option if you want to feed a crowd without breaking the bank. We recommend bbq chicken it's our favorite. They also don't deliver to bonney lake so I have to drive to get it which is no big deal it's about 17 minutes away.Vegetarian options: Many veggie optionsParking: Parking is plenty because it's just a pick up location, you don't eat inside.“

“Trying to find the greatest NYC pizza slice in the area. I had two slices here and sadly they both just weren't heated up enough. Cheese wasn't melty and it had that bite you get from out of the fridge leftover pizza. It was still enjoyable and the crust was very nice and close to NYC pizza.“

“Wonderful experience at the Fircrest location. The staff members were truly warm, friendly and accommodating. We were grateful they could get our order in, even when it was late in the evening! We love to support our local businesses and Sammy's has been a neighborhood staple for years! The specialty pizzas include so many unique combinations of toppings, it makes the flavor unmatched! There are tons of pizza places around here and Sammy's is one of the best in our area! “Beautiful little hidden gem in Tacoma.Parking can be a little hard, and the door easy to miss.Once you get in though, it's a gorgeous little, clean, chic, modern bar and bistro.We tried the Margherita pizza and the Spicy Vegan.Both are on point. “After Door Dashing an order my car smelled so good that I had to come back to get a pizza for my husband and I. We ordered half double pepperoni and half Tikka Masala. Omg it was so good. Double pepperoni covered every inch of the cheese on the pizza. Just the right amount of sauce. Tikka Masala was out of this world, sending my tastebuds to heaven. The caramelized onion and curry was pronounced and not too much. Pizza price and size of 18inches is just right to feed a family. It came with two sauces, garlic butter and butter ranch, as well as spicy packets of sriracha and powder cheese. The staff were friendly. I arrived earlier than my scheduled pick up and the pizza was done right at the time I had originally ordered it for. I am now curious to come back and try other pizzas. Closest entry point to this restaurant is the entrance to the mall right next to Target at South Hill Mall.“

“Not impressed. Went in on a Saturday night before 6. There were 5-6 tables occupied and most had their food already. Sat and waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by staff. Placed an order for salads and a pizza at 6:12. Salads didn't arrive until 6:50, when the server said "oh, your pizza is up too, do you want me to bring it out or wait". I told her to wait rather than just let it cool on the table while we ate the overpriced side salad (a small plate of lettuce and dressing for $8) We went there because we had heard the pizza was good. But if you're going to call your pizza a "meat lover" style pizza, it should have a noticeable amount of meat on it. On the attached pic I had to use arrows to highlight the minimal amount of sausage. The other meats were pretty scarce too. Nothing that I ate or experienced at Salomone's tonight will cause me not to go to The Cloverleaf in the future. Wishing I would have gone there tonight.“

“The wifey and I made the trek to Lacey Washington to visit our daughter's college stomping grounds... we ended up getting an Air BnB in Tacoma.... we decided to go out the first night and were hungry for Pizza... we I jumped on Yelp and found Farellis.. it was close and had good reviews... it happened to be less than a mile away.. we went in side and the place was clean and seemed pretty open... there were not many people dining at the time.. the waitresses were courteous and tended to our needs in timely manner... we had Pepsi and water then ordered breadsticks.. the breadsticks were good... the daughter ordered a personal pepperoni pizza ... the pepperonis looked good nice and curled up like the shoulder he... the wife and I shared the pizza of the day which was a Big Ben's Island Pizza.. so good... this place is a hit and everyone should go if they are in town..“

Craven is amazing but he wasn't here today. my waitress pretty much ignored me opting to help tables with guys. the pizza was flat and she gave me the wrong sauce. “I had never heard of this bar before, I started coming when Sheri posted she was working here. I knew her from some other places so I was excited to check out something new and something close to home. We came a few times and really enjoyed the food. We came once when it was Sheri’s day off and the service was horrible. The bar had maybe 2 people, and there were 2 tables occupied. We were told we had to order at the bar. I could see the if it was busy…but why if it was so slow? We have definitely noticed a significant improvement since the previous manager left…not only more people but the people who work here just seem friendlier and the food has improved. My friends and I come often for the tacos on Tuesdays (which are so good) and we are happy to see the place so crowded and doing well!“

“We lived in the area for almost a decade and we'd come here often. last time we came here was after the remodel. it was super nice. now.... not so much... service was atrocious, no one was friendly at all.. and you have grown adults literally jumping in front of KIDS to play games... kids that were patiently waiting to play... adults walking around barefoot, just being straight up disrespectful, and they just let it happen. we arrived when they first opened and multiple tables were still completely unwashed, and half their sodas were out. Just utterly insane how crap the service was today... extremely disappointed. The guy in the photo in particular is the punk that was jumping in front of kids patiently waiting. My kid being one of em, was walking up to that exact spot and he jumped in and scanned before my kid could. super cucky of him.“

“Parking: We have gotten in the habit of going to Mod where everyone is able to get their own style, and liking. We always get it to go. Decided to come here cause it is such a quality, delicious, real cheese pizza, yum! Our personal favorite actually. “Came here to celebrate my son's 21st birthday, and the atmosphere is bright open and has lots of great views of the water. There is no bad seating here. The food was really good, started with appetizers: Steamed clams they were nice and plump, then shrimp and artichoke dip with toasted French bread and just plain cheesy bread with marinara Main course I had the halibut, with salad and curly fries and a coleslaw, it was nice and flakey not dry. He had the 3pc cod and fries batter was nice and crisp and not soggy with grease, my daughter got just a plain cheeseburger. Our food was nice and hot when it came out, it was a Sunday evening and sunny, so they had quite a few people. The staff were friendly and patient with us ordering and did check up on us a few times which I like, it makes me feel like I'm not just there and need to wave a staff member over.“

“My family stopped into Sammy's on a whim while on a walk around North Slope. First of all, the restaurant was incredibly clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a medium pizza (half garlic chicken/half chicken bacon ranch), a small meat lover's pizza, and a house salad with a chipotle ranch dressing. All of the food was excellent, the ingredients fresh, and served within a timely manner. Our family highly recommends this place and we'll definitely be back very soon!!“

She came to take our order, but we had to sheepishly ask for more time. Rather than being annoyed, our server gave a genuine smile and graciously offered to come back later.We decided on my friend's favorite, pepperoni and pineapple (remarkably good by the way) and it was brought out piping hot and delicious a few minutes later.Our server was very attentive, bringing out drink refills without being asked. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her work, making the experience that much better. “Each week, I buy a family size pizza through the app. Last week I thought I sent the order to the store. When I arrived to pick up my order I discovered it did not go through. “I must say, this is one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in quite sometime. Upon entry me and my SO were greeted and asked if ee had any questions and to please reach out if so. After looking at the menu we went up to order, even before I could begin my 21 questions about how items are cooked Amanda immediately inquired if I was vegan or vegetarian from my order requested. Amanda was extremely knowledgeable and undeniably thoughtful to take the time out to inform me of how the food is made, cooked, and the ingredients on menu items ect... This came as a huge surprise as I always have to asked so many questions to the individual taking my order, considering I am vegan and do not consume ANY animal products. Amanda, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs with a gracious attitude. When we finally received our food, it was plentiful, and delicious. This has by far been the best service I have ever received at any establishment. I want to genuinely thank Amanda for her exceptional hospitality and thoughtfulness. Not to mention after we wrapped up she stopped me to suggest a few vegan restaurants, that cater to my dietary needs.
