“Food: we stopped by this quaint town of Port Gamble. Didn't even know this place existed! This is a place NOT to be missed if you are in the mood for sweets. We wanted something sweet and looked up this place. Super cute town driving in, beautiful view of the water. We ordered : the almond raspberry cake, strawberry shortcake, lemon bar, and lemon cheesecake. The almond raspberry cake was so moist, not overly sweet, fresh whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and topped with some crunchy almonds, just the right amount of sweetness! Strawberry shortcake was just like grandma made it. The strawberries were just the right sweetness, fresh whipped cream, crop lu shortcake made the right way so it socks up the strawberries goodness! Lemon bar was sweet and tart equally. The crust had the right amount of crunch and buttery goodness. Lemon cheesecake was creamy and lemony dreamy! Service was friendly and helpful. They were quick and super patient as we decided what to get. This cute old gas station like spot had a nostalgic feel. Definitely will be back for their food and more dessert!”
“Juicy J’s was incredible. We showed up right at closing and instead of turning us away, the made us an incredible meal. The burger is one of the best I have had (plant based or not). You gotta give these folks a try!”
“We ordered a dish that we wanted to have a bit more sauce. Everything is made to order and would have taken a minute. Another order was placed for Tikki Masala and they made extra for us. Little things make a business shine. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner.”
“Got here 20 minutes b4 close this time so they were out of poke ?. But been here 6 times b4 and it’s always been fresh and decent size portions. Highly recommend!”
“First visit & defiantly not our last! Excellent food & service! The owners are friendly & welcoming! Great addition to Kingston! 5-star!! It's hard to pick when they give you samples! We had the Cottage Pie & Meatball Stroganoff! We took home the frozen BBQ Pulled Pork Stew! So good!”
“fabulous selection of baked goods. Fresh daily. So good. Their only flaw is that sometimes they are so popular that they have a line and so they might run out of things earlier in the day. But sometimes, I can walk in at any time of the day and get some of my favorites. ( of which there are many). highly recommended.”
“OMG good food! The only place I've ever been where they ask how well you want your carne asada grilled! Pork Carnitas that are out of this world. You order at the counter, and sit at a table with a roll of paper towels for your napkins, so don't come for the atmosphere. But if you're looking for 'comida bien rica!' this is the place!Vegetarian options: Beans rice chili rellenos nd cheese enchiladasKid-friendliness: It's very casual and no frills. There is a kids menu and I saw a family eating dinner with their kids.”
“I have been enjoying the brew of Over The Moon Coffee since I moved to North Kitsap nearly two years ago; however, it wasn't until I was treated to the warm hospitality of owners Joanne and Ed Shumake yesterday, while I was waiting to meet with outdoor photographer Tim Davis, that I fully appreciated the specialness of this family-owned enterprise. The cafe is cozy, the coffee is tasty, and the staff is always friendly.”
“Been twice, great carne asada! Takes me on a virtual journey back to SoCal! Wonderful experience, the people are very warm and welcoming, they are serving up some great food.”
“I haven't been here in years and I am glad I came back. The food is crazy good, the staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are great too. I am glad when I go on break, I can come just 2 minutes down the road and relax here and eat good food.”
“Best cider I have ever had. The owners and staff make you feel like family. We love open mic, Karaoke on Sat, and trivia on Sunday. The special events are fun and there are events for all. Bring the children this is a family place. Come out and feed the animals. They have food trucks and special dinners. Friday is live music and some of the best local musicians in this area. The Valentine's dinner was first class and so good. We love this place and the people who we have grown to know as family.”
“We had the pulled pork and sweet potatoe taco special today as well as the special chicken tortilla soup. Both were amazing, tasted homemade, and so delicious! We'll be back soon!”

“Great breakfast here. Had the egg sammie and a tasty maple matcha. The pastry I shared was also super good, a sort of cardamom twist with chocolate. Parking is limited, as is seating, but they are very quick in there.”
“Just hard to find parking. Found my handicap spot, though. It's rough seeing people run across Viking in the dark... everything else, including the Live Mic, was awesome.”
“Excellent, fresh dishes. Traditional and non traditional menu items, the best service from a very friendly, hands on owner and staff. Randy and his team are great.”
“We showed up on the late evening side and the place was a bit busy we were seated within 5 minutes and staff was great. Food quality was spot on. Love going here!”
“No amount of stars will convey how amazing Mama's Armenian Kitchen is, nor how genuine and kind the two owners are. I hesitate posting this review, as any small change put into the universe may lessen the perfect balance struck by this cozy bakery. Not only does the food exceed any number of world class bakeries, the owners are poetic and warm reminder to be patient and kind.”
“Hot Shots Java is a coffee shop on the main drag in Poulsbo, Wa. The have a nice selection of coffee drinks and serve tea and ice cream. I ordered the Americano with room and it was fantastic! They also offer a small selection of breakfast bagels/pastries but I had already had breakfast so I'll have to try them next time. The coffee spot has plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, and the staff were friendly and customer service focused. Great little coffee shop!”
“I love Rainy Daze and the Here To Party Pilsner. Britney and Asha are always so fun to be around and welcome my toddler in. My favorite place to stop by after work with my dogs and there’s always a good food truck close by”
“I recently ordered a red velvet cake for my daughter’s birthday from Cake Studio. The cake was HUGE and delicious! Red velvet can sometimes be dry but this cake was absolutely perfect. The cream cheese frosting wasn’t too heavy but wasn’t skimped on either-it was just right! Cannot recommend Cake Studio enough!!”
“This food truck is the best in WA. I’m not kidding you. Tasty food, good price and great service. Check them out and enjoy. Don’t just order one menu item. You wanna explore the unique food and listen to their recommendations. Will definitely go back when I’m in town next time.”
“Great little gem of an Italian restaurant; bags of charm, super cool staff, lots of good seating options inside and out. Oh, and the food is really great; my margherita pizza (with added salami) was outstanding, and my wife raved about her Caesar salad. The prosciutto and brie focaccia was also great. Definitely recommend!”
“My wife had combo that included one of the best tamales we’ve had since living in Washington! I ordered the Molcajete Fajita that was absolutely amazing!! So worth the drive from Port Townsend!!! Our new favorite place for authentic Mexican cuisine!!!”
“Honest to goodness get away perfect for unwinding & enjoying the company of truly down to earth patrons & staff. This place makes you feel like you’re one of the family. Come & see for yourself…”
“So...where shall I start...especially when I'm 4 Guinness nitro and 1 house ale in. Had their salmon chowder and their special of grilled swordfish...AMAZING...and that's not the beers talking. Food and atmosphere is PERFECT! if you're ever in the Kingston area and you just get off the ferry...YOU MUST STOP HERE. Besides...you just got here and it's close by. The people here are top notch nice beyond words and the food quality, taste, presentation (if that's a thing at an alehouse) is astounding! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE DESSERT!!!”
“Wonderful service with great tasting coffee. It is clear that Shay and Jeff have put their hearts into this labor of love that has become a new destination for us when we get the craving for both.”
“My wife and I stopped in and found a friendly down home atmosphere. Our server was friendly and a professional. She kept the coffee topped off and brought the food out piping hot.Food was hot and excellent!Excellent Pies made by a local 92 year old who knows her way around a pie!!We will definitely be going back.”
“Went there on my son's recommendation to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a perfect day for weather, pizza, and party. Extremely busy, but service was friendly and as quick as could be. Staff was first class, and food was exceptional. Not your average pizzeria. Pizza creations were made with sourdough from starter that was over a hundred years old, and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and creative. All that and a front seat views of the ferries and passengers coming and going into the picturesque town of Kingston made it a day, not soon forgotten. We will be back soon to spend more time in town and return to Sourdough Willy's to enjoy another fantastic meal!”

“Clean, bright house converted to tap room and bottle shop. Fine selection of beers PLUS wonderful small selection of international wines served by the glass and sold by bottle to go. Limited, but quality, menu of light dishes. Not a lunch stop, but a great wine stop. Nestled in a very small, quaint town on the mouth of the Hoid Canal. Waterfront 2 blocks away.”
