“At first glance, venue appeared small. But once inside, we experienced intimacy without feeling crowded, even though the house was full. Decor was very nice. Our server was professionally friendly and attentive without hovering. And the food! Oh, my! We understood why everyone, from our hotelier to shopkeepers to a random couple on the street told us not to leave Port Townsend without dining there. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and a very fitting choice.”

“Spouse and I had the caffe aranciata, as well as some vegan pastries. I think they had at least four or five different vegan pastries that were freshly made (we visited on a Sunday). I forgot the name of the pastry I got but it was like a berry crumble sort of thing and went really well with my drink, which was a mocha with orange peel in it. Amazing! The view was very pretty as well. We will come back when we’re in the area.”

“Wonderful coffee and really nice staff!! This past Christmas I ordered a whole set of coffee to give as Christmas gifts to family and friends. I will do so again but this time sending back east. The espresso is very flavorful. Even when you walk into cafe the aroma is just so! good! Highly recommend!”

“If you asked me how good the quesadilla was, I would say it was good. But if you asked me on a deeper level, I would say it was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I went to bed thinking about it, dreaming about it and I woke drooling about it. The quesadilla and guacamole was exquisite and the perfect size. Not to big not to small, just right. I wish Gordon Ramsey was here to taste such a fine delicacy.”

“Last week we had a very delicious lunch for 4. I had the Braised Beef sandwich, my wife had the Kale salad, our friends had the French Onion Soup and Chicken Bacon Pot Pie. ALL of these were absolutely wonderful! The staff were all very friendly, answered all the questions, and made great recommendations. We will most definitely come back for another meal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Our son recently got married in lovely Pt. Townsend. We needed to host 30 people for the groom's dinner. There are not many places in town that can accommodate that large of a crowd. However Jason was willing to offer our group his entire front room for this event. Being from out of town everything was arranged through one phone call and text messages. Jason recommended a family style dinner with three entrees, 4 appetizers and two additional sides. The food was amazing, the service was delightful, everyone was comfortable and well fed. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for the wonderful experience it gave us and fond memories for the newlyweds. This was quite a place for a destination wedding and our flawless experience with Jason made it even better. My only wish is he owned another one in Minneapolis, then maybe he'd be a Vikings fan!”

“Such a nice atmosphere. My hubby and I took a second trip to Port Townsend and after the first time in this town and coming to this bar. We made it a must go to stop here again. And we were not disappointed. Coming from a hectic, chaotic area of Washington, US being from Federal Way. This is our fun, really true relaxing, place to have a good time.”

The Wok Fried and the traditional Chicken Wings might be the best in the Olympic Peninsula. You can tell the staff takes pride in their food. Everyone in the family enjoyed what they got.

“Banana Leaf is a favorite of ours for Asian food in PT, and it never disappoints. The dishes are delicious, and the spiciness on-target with our regular requests of 4 (pleasantly spicy) to negative 2 (not spicy at all). The servers are always friendly and helpful. Some of our favorite dishes are Golden Cashew, Rama, Massamun Curry, and Mango Ginger Duck.”

“In business 27years. Before most craft beers were “a thing”. Solid selection None blew me away. Neither did any I tasted put me off. Has that neighborhood vibe. Worth a visit or five.”

“This one 8s located inside the Safeway grocery, but the have seating if you are resting or having lunch. The servers/baristas are wonderful.

“This lovely small hotel right in the heart of Port Townsend. I walked to restaurants, the Saturday Farmers Market, and shops. The deck off the waterfront room was sunny and peaceful - perfect to enjoy morning coffee. Self check-in worked great, and the room was well stocked with everything I needed. Will definitely return when I'm in PT!Note that the hotel was beautifully renovated in 2018, so older reviews (especially ones about food from the now-closed restaurant below) don't reflect the current experience.”

“Very busy spot but well worth the wait. Here during wooden boat festival so it was extra busy.
One cook, one counter/ server and a dishwasher were all there were working. They did great but it was a long wait. Understaffed.
I got the Italian sausage pizza and Caesar salad. 5/5 on both. Crust perfect; generous and obviously high quality ingredients; great sauce with a touch of garlic(?). The Caesar was great. Fresh, crisp and the croutons and dressing were awesome. They do something tasty with everything they make. Highly recommend but plan ahead for the crowd.”

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. “We went for the history and the ghosts. Absolutely beautiful castle and the staff is amazing they went above and beyond. Most the other people staying went for the same reason we did ghosts. Well everything was going great and the fro t desk girl went home, we just started ghost hunting in the banquet room when the power went out , pitch black dark castle. So we went to our room and decided just to sleep. Unfortunately some unknown being spent hours banging on the walls so loud I didn’t get any sleep at all. Also what sounded like a static music box randomly started and stopped all night. Squeaky floors sounded like someone walked around our room also. Weird part only one other room heard the extreme loud bangs all night other nearby rooms did not. We did the Estes method and got a lot of talk about Kate and Charles, So weird . I will be back!”
