At the Ballard area fisherman's wharf, at the S.W. corner of the Ballard bridge. Amazing halibut and chips ! but not inexpensive . . . still, I always splurge for this. It is a walk up style, with outside tables under a roof area. Take the time to wander the piers enjoying the small and very large fish trawlers, crab boats, etc on the left side and to the north.
Counter service restaurant in Fishermen's Terminal. This is a great place to bring friends and family who want to get a taste of seafood in the PNW without breaking the bank. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Big parking lot out front. The menu has lots of seafood and chips options (platters are mostly $15-20), clam chowder, and fish tacos. Seattle has the best fish n chips in the country IMO, and breezy Little Chinook’s is among the tops in the city. Can’t go wrong with the true cod and the halibut, but my differentiated favorites are the fried clams (tender and crisp, not chewy) and the salmon taco (lightly blackened with salsa and a creamy slaw).
