This has been a great addition to the Greenlake area as there has never been that good of restaurants to eat at despite the populated area. We have visited WCT a handful of times since it opened after Shelter closed and recommend it to all of our friends and neighbors. The staff seems to be a lot of familiar faces from the Shelter days and the food is much more high end and quality. The drinks are fun and fresh. Great ambiance. Good food. Just like it's original location in Tacoma. Service was great as well . We sat near the fire and the waitress offered to turn down the heat, she knew we were hot lol would definitely come here again in the summer when they open the floor to ceiling windows.

I love how cozy this place is! We were here for happy hour and enjoyed the tavern burger and the basil mozzarella pizza with their selection of house wines. Portions were huge but delicious -- the pizza wasily fed two of us. The happy hour rosé was quite enjoyable. Def looking forward to come back again, especially in the summer when our dog pals can join us!
