“I have been a customer at this location since it opened several years ago. I have always had a good experience here and think that their products are far and away the best in the Seattle area.Still, my visit at the Shoreline store at 10:30 this morning was a real high point. I am sorry that I can't remember the names of the two staff members who helped me, but they were simply the best both in helpfulness and personality.I worked in the food industry during my college years and know how tough the job can be, but this morning's crew really showed how much a smile and a pleasant, positive attitude can make a memorable impression on a customer. “I love layers. I was never really into sandwiches before they came along, but they have changed my opinion. The flavors here are so incredible. “My coworker and I just moved into a new office space nearby and we walked over for a couple of breakfast sandwiches to-go this morning. It cannot be overstated that the folks behind the counter are friendly, attentive and warm.Our sandwiches were wonderfully prepared and wrapped with care. We were both raving about the food before we even tasted it because it smelled so good and it was packaged so nicely. They knocked it out of the park -- perfectly cooked bacon egg and cheese on a perfectly toasted english muffin. Just a wonderful experience. Can't wait for my next breakfast at Blue Heron :)“

“Such delicious food! We’ll be back. We had vermicelli (bun) with chicken and it was a huge portion that we ate on all day (more than one meal’s worth of food). Excellent veggies (shredded daikon, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, herbs) and the noodles were cooked perfectly (not soggy). The sauce was YUM! The cheese Steaks use a more ground up city of beef, not sliced if you're looking for that style, but they come in a nice bun and taste great. You can also get some great sides, I recommend the garlic cheese fries. Plenty of seating inside, parking though may be a bit tight as there are many businesses in this location that seem to have their patrons spreading into their parking area. “I almost never leave reviews and am only moved to by truly exceptional quality. I have been a customer at Royal Grinders since around 2013 when I lived right up the street. I would go at least once (sometimes three times) a week my whole time I lived in the neighborhood. I’m a creature of habit and always get the chicken pesto grinder with everything. Since leaving the neighborhood I don’t have the opportunity to go as often, but i look forward to it every time I do. When it closed during the pandemic, I was quite disappointed. I remember when it first reopened I called ahead to get my usual order. I figured it would be slammed. Nobody answered like they always had in the past and I was disappointed. When I arrived I noticed the line going out the door and I understood why no one had answered. When I got to the front the owner seemed to recognize me from my time as a regular which took me by surprise. I told him I’d called ahead and nobody answered. He was apologetic and, without me asking, told me he would get my order out quickly. There were at least 5 people waiting ahead of me and my sandwich came out first. I felt truly appreciated and like my regular business was noticed and rewarded which is extremely rare. As for the sandwiches, they are literally my favorite sandwich in the city. I take any opportunity to tell my friends that it’s the best sandwich spot in town.“

“Finally! We sampled Lasa Sandwiches and Pearls—a Filipino culinary experience. Opting for a rice-free option, I tried the Longganisa with eggs and bread, beef lumpia, and Taho milk tea. Meanwhile, Luke opted for the adobo sandwich. I personally preferred the adobo over the Longganisa. It's a unique and worthwhile experience, especially if you haven't tried it before!“

“It’s a great place for sandwiches with seating inside the beautiful Lark restaurant. We went on a cold Saturday around 1230 and we’re easily able to grab a seat. This was during my community college days, and this cute and sweet little family owned one right next to the college I was attending. So, eating there on the regular was a must!So, naturally, when I found it again…I had to check it out!!From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted. The lobby and bathroom were very clean, which was impressive…especially during lunchtime!The staff were friendly and genuinely asked about my days! This was refreshing, especially in an era where most people can’t bother to ask the question…at least not without feigning to care, lol!The staff were also quick and efficient with creating their spectacular creations!The creations themselves were delicious! There is just something to that warm, soft bread that always hits the spot!!
