“Even though they were incredibly busy we still had amazing service and our drinks and apps were amazing. Our server was great about giving us realistic time frames so we could determine timing to ensure food/ drinks were ready and out and we could have our checks paid before racing off to our concert.“
“First time here for lunch on a Friday. Was hoping for some good BBQ but I guess they were having trouble procuring meat so the menu was extremely limited and I think there was only one person working. Had the smash burger which was good but was hoping for ribs or brisket or really any kind of smoked meat. I guess their rib day is Saturday but even that might not happen due to their meat procurement problem.“
“We went for breakfast. They open at 9:00 and my scrambled omelette was great. My friends pancakes looked yummy, nice size & thick. My husband had the corned beef breakfast & said it was good. Service was friendly but minimal, I think 1 server but they just opened.“
“I’ve delivered for this restaurant a few times and they’re always pleasant to interact with.Yesterday I came in to pick up an order for a customer and unfortunately they were completely out of meat.The employee informed me so I could contact the customer and give them the option to make substitutions or cancel the order.I feel this important to mention because I’ve experienced merchants being out of items and not taking the steps to inform myself or the customer and just send the order out incomplete and it isn’t until after delivery that myself and the customer find out and it’s ALWAYS upsetting to the customer so kudos to the employee for one.For two, because the customer cancelled their order due to not wanting an incomplete meal(and let’s be serious, who could blame her) the restaurant employee offered me a pudding to bandage the emotional damage that I was not getting paid for the order I already showed up to deliver lol.It wasn’t the ideal circumstances for any of us- the restaurant lost a sale, the customer had to replan dinner and I didn’t get paid for the order but I appreciate the way the employee treated both myself and the customer.Well done sir. ??“
“Got my rib eye steak to-go. Beautifully prepared to a medium temperature. Baked potato with the works was delicious (perhaps a touch too salty on the potato skin). Caesar salad was a good portion with a robust dressing.The food was on time and still hot when I picked it up inside. Sorry I couldn't stay and eat at a table since the place had a real energy to it. Maybe next time.“
“If you grew up in the 50s and 60s on Oahu near Ewa town or Waipahu, you’ll love the food. Of all the Hawaiian style restaurants in Washington state, this is clearly one of the best. The sauces are neither too sweet nor too salty and not overwhelming. Portions are good. This is now my Go-To Hawaiian style restaurant. Thank you, Pake.“
