I smoke/bbq all the time, and as such I'm a bbq snob. I'm always really excited to try a new bbq spot and 99% of the time I'm disappointed. That was not the case at porters. I was really impressed, not just with the quality of their meats, but also their sauces. I ordered the Johnny sandwich with brisket, pulled pork, and bacon, and everything was done very well. Went for lunch at 2pm today. Came because the aroma driving past Porter's Real BBQ is a siren song to me.It worked!! That was a moist first bite of brisket, Tillamook cheese sauce, baked potato, Wow.I tried the cold slaw first and ate all of it, wondering how to make my cold slaw taste like that ;).Thank you, next time I will bring my grandson and we will share nachos.
