We shared the fried chicken and waffles (the lemon was a knockout surprise), the cheesy tots (which were a flavor bomb), and the biscuits and gravy (I never like that dish cuz it's kinda boring, but these were anything but). We truly couldn't choose a favorite. Sooo good. Seriously. We were only upset that we got full and couldn't eat more. Bravo! Great vibe too!

This is a completely great place to come. Whether it’s for a drink on the way home or a 2 hour stay.KC and Gabby are awesome at the bar, the food is sooooo good, well thought out and delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and the owners Corina and Vanessa make everyone feel welcome.Truly an awesome place to come and enjoy.Kenny and Max help keep everything running well in the kitchen. Very happy to see that 1022 South J is opened again. My wife and I were able to visit here on their soft opening last Friday and then went here again yesterday. Great drinks, friendly staff, and delicious apps & desert. We will be frequenting this location more now that they are opened up again.We highly recommend the old fashioned, the raspberry whiskey sour (good with vodka as a sub), and the vodka gimlet. Gabby was a great bar tender and made it a lovely experience.
