“Don't let the minimal decor fool you, the food is good and I liked the chill atmosphere. Sushi was decent, portions were good for 1-2 people, the combo meals can feed 2 adults. Ambiance was low key enough for my elderly mother and 5 year old nephew. Would go here again!“
“Great, fast service, clean, friendly atmosphere, very authentic Japanese Ramen would go again Vegetarian options: How many vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Had gluten-free and vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Had kid menu sectionWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair assessable by main entrance flat parking lot“
“Súper good !!! At first I was skeptical because I felt like the theme was the reason why it’s famous and the food might not be as good but I was proved wrong. The service is good and the food is delicious especially the portions! I’ve seen in other establishments how it’s around the same price but the quantity of the food is half of what’s served here. Definitely coming back !“
“Had a pick up order, so I didn’t see much of the establishment. The lady at the door was nice throughout our limited interaction, and the OMG burrito was fabulous, though having had one, I am glad that I had a pick up order, since eating it is quiet messy and not something I would like to try outside of my home.I would 100 percent order again.“
“Not what I was expecting when it comes to Japanese cuisine, but was pleasantly surprised by the fusion/spin on Japanese dishes. The smoked salmon Rangoon was the perfect smokey salmon cream cheese pastry and I was more shocked by the Okionomiaki (sp?) was different than any other scallion pancake I've ever tried. Definitely a place to visit and great service too!“
“This place nails it! I came here with my mom and we were both hoping to remember the food in Japan while we lived there. We had the beef udon and the okinomiyaki. Beef Udon came out in a huge bowl amply filled with thinly sliced beef, fresh vegetables and perfect chewy noodles. The broth was very flavorful and they had a big bowl of togarashi spice to flavor it up as you want! Order yourself an okinomiyaki right when you get in the door. It’s big enough to split or share for a party of four and it takes 20 minutes to make. It is hands down the most authentic, delicious okinomiyaki I’ve had anywhere outside of Japan. If you find a better one out here, anywhere, let me know because I want to go! Atmosphere is quiet and dim, good place for a weekend morning, especially if you need to take care of yourself after a late night out. This is the type of place that has the proprietors wedding photo in her Japanese formal wear on the wall. Go!“
“This is hands down my favorite restaurant. The service is always outstanding even on packed nights, the staff is incredibly attentive, and welcoming. You never have to worry about your dink going empty here. Not only is the food great quality and absolutely delicious, but food comes out in record time upon ordering. As a regular here my go to order is tokoyaki as the starter, curry Ramen as the main, and mango nigor (21+) for my drink. I highly recommend eating here!“
“I don't think I've ever left a review here but their pork donburi had me in such a chokehold I have to come here all the time until I finally moved away. I'm coming up to visit my son for spring break and I will definitely be getting a dish to take home.“
“It was my very first time going here I went with my aunt and uncle from rock climbing for 2 hours straight and the food was very very good this is definitely a five-star restaurant for Japanese food also the ramen actually made me quite sleepy that I can't even get up onto my loft bed that's how good the ramen was so I'm just going to so I'm just sleeping on the floor at my home, oh yeah and by the way I'm 12 years old but don't really know much about anime but all I know about anime is that and my food is seriously good I would advise to go here every single night this is why Zen Ramen and sushi burrito restaurant is a five star restaurant“
“Dim sum is nonexistent in federal way, and this restaurant owner took the courage to make one. The opportunity to add a ramen business into it as well is genius. We used to frequent this business when it was a Chinese buffet, and during the pandemic it quietly restructured into a dimsum restaurant. It is clean, spacious, and easy to get to. I give it four stars due to the price per dimsum. Aside from that I would give it 5 if it was the fare of its' competitors up north. We ordered: shu mai, shrimp, har gow, turnip cakes, and a pork dumpling. Tea costs extra and is not complimentary (this is also the reason for a 3/4 star). Parking is in a strip mall complex area, and for the most part safe. It is a good restaurant for kids and families.“
“One word: home. This place is amazing. Ordered fried rice, chicken katsu, and chicken teriyaki to go. One bite: home. This food brought me home in South Korea eating my moms food. As a half generation Korean, this place brought me memories I haven’t had in a long time. Thank you.“
