All of it wa excellent including the amazing drink selection. The place itself has a great atmosphere inside and outside. Our sever, Kemper, was so helpful and kind and even gave us some great suggestions for pairings. Go to Farrar's, you won't be disappointed!”

I’m really picky with my food and I always find something wrong with it but this place did not disappoint. We had 4 different things from the menu The Birria Plate #13, The Huarache #19 with chorizo ,The Asada street tacos & The quesa birria all of the food was delicious 🤤 If you want homemade delicious food this is the place! Food itself was outstanding and really interesting cocktails. The chicken parm was crispy outside and tender, juicy inside. The alfredo rich and smooth. Sunday Gravy was decadent and rich with an almost bbq quality to a great red sauce.

The staff is extremely kind and friendly. Now for the food. For the price it is a good amount of food. 2-3 people could easily share a single plate of food. The food was delicious. The chicken breast basket came with 3 massive sides, the chicken was moist and had a great flavor. The hushpuppies and okra were also great. The dessert was amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your kindness and your amazing food.

We fed 6 people for less than $120 today. We then turned around and put in an online order for a few of our other kids and they had everything done and ready in less than 20min or so.

“We had a wonderful experience at Thai Orchid. We came as a group of 4 for dinner. We were promptly greeted and sat, then immediately asked for drinks or appetizers. The atmosphere of the building is very cozy while also keeping the rustic brick and open ceiling aesthetic. We shared a few of the noodle and rice dishes and they were delicious. The dishes were warm and flavorful. Everyone also ordered sushi rolls as well. All the food came very quickly and all together. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu, and gluten free accomodations were known. We plan to come back again many times.

“FANTASTIC! So many positive things to say about this family owned business in the heart of the new waterfront.
The staff greet you warmly as if you are family. It’s amazingly clean. The tables, chairs and decor are tasteful, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing.
Even the glasses, straws, plates and utensils are spotless and high quality.
They do not fry food in kitchen so the restaurant smells great. It’s quiet and the music is subtle and not obnoxiously loud. You could have a romantic date here and not be shouting over the din.
They have booths, tables, and private spaces, as well as a beautiful bar.
The FOOD! I can’t say enough about the high quality and presentation. The owners traveled to Hawaii to get a direct source for their tuna. The miso soup is made from scratch and is sooo yummy. I’ve eaten in every sushi bar in Vancouver and Portland and Shinsen is definitely on another level.

- a few of us came here for their endless soup and salad. Everyone’s favourite. Another order was the chicken and shrimp carbonara which looked delicious. We broke down and had the donuts. It was also delicious. You can choose either chocolate or raspberry sauce. If you love pasta you need to order this!

A popular chain restaurant known for their pasta dishes. The 3 of us came here for their well-known endless soup and salad combo lunch special from 11 am to 3 pm from Mon to Fri at $9.99. There are 4 soups to choose from ranging from sausage to vegetarian. My all time favourite is Zuppa Toscana made with spicy Italian sausage, kale, and potatoes. The others had the Pasta E Fagioli. The lunch special also comes with never ending freshly baked bread sticks. The salad was fresh with olives, tomatoes, and peppers tossed in Italian dressing.
They also have other weekday lunch specials priced at $10.99 and $11.99. Great value with good taste. Service was friendly and prompt. I felt more comfortable having the staff wear masks.
Parking: Lots of free parking especially several handicap parking spots near the front entrance.

“We had gone to Pacific House last spring and ordered fish tacos. They were delicious but the waitress said next time you come in you need to try the Ruben sandwich. So on this visit that is what we ordered. We only ordered one sandwich to share and an order of their brussel sprouts. Oh my goodness, the sandwich was so different and so delicious we will definitely be ordering that again and again. It had a pickled jalapeno croute that was so tasty. It was not too spicy if you would be worried about the jalapeno. The corn beef was smoked. I want the whole sandwich all to myself next time. The brussel sprouts were so delicious and had bacon crumbles and toasted almonds. They were so delicious I came back on Christmas Eve and ordered two orders to serve with our dinner that night. They reheated just fine and were perfect with our roast beef dinner.

“Maybe a year ago I see this dude that goes by Mexi Papa, who is often with Mark Weins in the SW and Mexico, go to Las Islas En Ponchos and put it on YouTube. Been on my list ever since. Since then, my expectation was that I was going to be head over heels like Tears for Fears for the shrimp empanadas with queso. They were delicious, however...I did not imagine that I was going to eat the best crab I've ever had. The patas de jaiba has this butter garlic chili...just GOTdamn ridiculously tasty sauce with sliced red onions all over the plate. When you get a good chunk of crab out of there and spoon some of that sauce and onions on it, it's just so damn satisfying. Best crab ever. Even better than BBQ versions I've had. I was so full that I only really tasted the fajitas that I got, which were absolutely awesome in their own right. I just didn't have enough room and my wife also loves fajitas so that was a good take home anyway. The michelada was pretty standard and tasty, but the mangoneada was top notch. They use mango puree and blend it with ice and that's what makes it great, rather than just using juice or some mix. Good dose of chamoy in and on the glass with a tajin rim..great drink that comes with or without alcohol. This place is largely a seafood restaurant in Nayarit fashion, a small Mexican state just north of Puerto Vallarta, but you can get this food on 4th Plain.The band was supposed to start at 7:30, but didn't start until 8 so I only caught the opening, but they've been advertising a band once a week on their Facebook page so keep an eye out if you care. It is LOUD in there though so be warned. And just because I feel like throwing something random in here and also because Linda Ronstadt has become popular again because of The Last of Us and her music brings back memories of my mother, many people don't know that she is half Mexican and had a very successful career across the border. I was so glad to hear the family has pulled it all back together and re-opened MIGUELS!
