“It's been years since I had been at this restaurant so I was delighted that it remained consistent all these years later. We were welcomed and seated immediately on a not so busy weeknight evening. We were offered bread service immediately, that lovely fresh bread with garlic oil was amazing!! We opted for the bruschetta for an appetizer, it was divine! The baguette was so good, and the tomatoes were fresh and plump! For the main, I ordered the gnocchi with vodka sauce and Italian sausage, while my partner had the Papperdelle dish. Both were fresh and the sauces were cooked well. The prices look scary but we agreed it was great value for money. Our server was great too. The interior has an old style Italian feel. Overall a lovely experience, glad to see this small local business still open.“
“Italianissimo Ristorante is my favorite Italian restaurant. Very delicious! I love the salmon fettuccine Alfredo. Made from scratch and made with love. Also love the fresh bread with garlic olive oil they include. If you want to impress someone, take them here.“
“Good pizza and good service. Love the location -- just pay attention to the parking garage signs. I "read" parking validation... I didn't realize I'd have to pay first, then receive validation. I got a ticket, but Diamond kindly reversed. Ballard Pizza was great -- I'd recommend!“
“So. This was awesome. I usually think these restaurants with the 5-courses and set menus and indecipherable foods/ingredients are pretentious, but this one actually has a good reason to be. I made a joke at the beginning of this dinner that I only respect an Italian restaurant if they bring out bread to the table, and guess what. They brought out bread! I chose the pescatarian menu and it was great. Started with a taster plate of soup/caviar cannoli/aged Parmesan and balsamic, then had raw yellowtail, bread, tajarin (angel hair sage pasta), endive salad, Seabream, blackberry thyme sorbet, passionfruit meringue, and then hazelnut ice cream affogato. I even probably forgot a few things in there, they just kept bringing food out. On top of all this, they had Charmin Ultrasoft in the bathroom. Unbelievable. That’s how I know they cared about me. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a fun and crazy food experience and you’re deciding between this place and Canlis or some other of this genre of restaurant.“
“GREAT FOOD! you definitely need to visit once. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the servers were also very funny, they cracked a few jokes that just made the dinner better. We had ordered the antipasto assortito with the pizza carbonara which went together perfectly. And for dessert we ordered panna cotta which you should definitely get, it’s not very sweet but just the perfect balance and is simple and subtle. The overall dinning experience was a ten along with the ambiance. They also provide you with blankets incase you get cold especially if you’re sitting at a table in the patio. Also make sure to make reservations in advance as it is unlikely that you’ll find a table as per your preferred timing and they are usually full.“
“EDIT: I had to update this review to 5 stars (from 3) because... Read the response below. Sounds like a tough night, and clearly this place seriously cares about their customers. Ownership like that is rare, and should be supported. Original review below. This is a tough review to write, because the food is not bad, and the concept is pretty cool. The pizza is definitely in the style of cafeteria food pizza (very Americana), but it's probably the best version of that style of pizza you could find. My only gripe on the food itself is that the dough could be a bit more flavorful, but that's about it.However, this place has the absolute slowest service imaginable. I've only ever seen two people working here (maybe the couple of owners?) and they desperately need a third employee. You can't order ahead of time, and expect to wait 30-40 minutes after any order.Related, but their weekday hours are terrible. By closing at 7pm, you're basically ensuring that few will make it, so everyone comes on the weekends, and then they're totally overloaded.I ordered a dessert as we were finishing our food, and 35 minutes later I just had to tell them to cancel it, because it was never coming. Unfortunately, no refund because you pay when putting in the order. That's poor service no matter how you cut it.“
“Some of the most generous, friendly, attentive service in Seattle. We visited on a whim on a Tuesday evening, and we were the only guests during our time there. There was a server whose shift ended shortly after taking our orders, so it was just us and the owner/chef afterward. Really felt more like we had been invited into a family home to eat.The food is pretty good, very homey. Gigantic portions.Salmon penne - it could have used more vegetables, basil, and salt (or maybe just less pasta). The owner suggested adding more stuff at home to the leftovers, which I did, and it was great!Chicken marsala - can't go wrong with a cream, mushroom, and white wine sauce. Very good, and well seasoned. The menu and interior do feel a bit dated as others have said, but it didn't bother us. But I really think the specials menu should include prices.“
“Disappointing that to get additional drinks after being served our meal always seems to be a challenge. 1 drink prior to meal, 1 maybe when meal is served, but anything further you have to flag down wait staff - often not your assigned wait staff to get their attention. It's almost like there is an unspoken 2 drink maximum. This has happened on more than 1 occasion and not with same wait staff. I find this rather odd. Outside of that, we love the place and the food.“
“Looking for a place half way between Renton and Everest, Totem Lake seem reasonable and it was well worth the trip. Meatball panini was excellent. Caesar salad, spaghetti, lasagna and chop salad were all very good too. Definitely a place to go back to.“
“We ate here for lunch. An extra large meat lovers pizza was more than enough for three of us. We each had three pieces and took the last three home. The pizza was good but it’s a little small inside. There are only three tables.Parking: There was parking right in front.“
“Wonderful early dinner, seated in the window it was the best of both, the cozy interior and the first warm day of spring without fully committing to sidewalk seating. The versatile wine list and wide ranging menu allow for any direction. The kids went pasta, I had a collection of appetizers and we shared some desserts. We've also had a few romantic dinners without kids, Vendemmia supports any experience you like, the commonality is the always immaculate food. There's a definite seasonality to the menu, and the cooking is superlative. Every time I eat here I always wonder why I don't do it more often.“
“Friendly neighborhood bar feel, but with a modern flair. Cozy, but not too small to move through comfortably. HAPPY HOUR still exists here! I'd definitely go back. Had the tuna melt, was a nice portion, perfect french fries and very fresh.“
“Love this place. The service is always friendly and a true family generational establishment. The baked spaghetti with meatballs is unbelievable. To be honest i almost hate raving about this place as i don't want them any busier than they are, but when a business deserves it, need to acknowledge the great job they have done building and keeping this business in play amongst all the chain restaurants and new fangled cookie cutter places now.Parking: Parking can be tough at times but there is parking on streets nearby“
“Been eating at Avanti’s since I was like 5 years old and I’m 25 now. No matter what you get there it is always amazing, especially the pizza, baked spaghetti, and salad with homemade Italian dressing. One of my favorite restaurants! Keep it up guys.“
“My daughter already visited before with her husband & kids & enjoyed it. Tried for my first time & I share the same sentiments. I ordered the ravioli. It was delicious! I had to get my salad replaced due to some of the lettuce being brown in color. Despite that small inconvenience which was resolved right away , I was pleased with my meal & service .“
“Such a great small spot! Seating is indoors and outside, so it doesn't at all feel crowded. The menu has a lot of fun pizza options and a large wine variety as well.Dietary restrictions: A great gluten-free crust!Parking: It's by a park and a small neighborhood, so parking is a little tight.“
“We'd been wanting to try Sorelli's for a while, and finally stopped in today. The lunch special was a great deal, and we even went home with leftovers. The food was delicious, fresh, and high quality. The environment was classic; I felt a wave of nostalgia as soon as I walked through the door. The service, however, is what sets Sorelli's apart. It is clear that this is a labor of love, and it shows in every interaction. We will be back again!“
“My family has been going to the Pizza Bank since it opened in the early 80s. Every time we get together for the holidays, we always get some Pizza Bank once or twice. I even had a bank account at Northshore Bank, the prior business there (and Citizen's Bank before that). Great food.“
“My husband and I have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for about 45 years now. I love the cheese raviolis on the senior menu. My husband likes the baked spaghetti They are both a steal for around $12 including their great salad and amazing garlic bread. Occasionally we will have our favorite pizza, number 28. Their wait staff is just the feather in the cap, delightful young folks that seem to love what they're doing.“
“Food is consistently delicious and the service is always great.I do recommend looking closely at your bill however. They have added a mandatory gratuity to the kitchen. Many places do this, my gripe is when tip percentage calculations are provided. They percentages not only include tip on the tax, they include tip on the kitchen tip. Tipping on tips and tax is a bit too much“
“The family and I were visiting Seattle on a family vacation and had to try some local pizza. This is a cute little place that had friendly service. I enjoyed a bottle of some local craft beer and devoured this delicious pizza. We got the The Independent Pizzeria -- Mozzarella Fior di Latte, Asiago, Arugula, Salame Piccante, Pepperoncini PiccanteCan't wait to come back the next time we are in town.“
“Mamma Melina Ristorante | Seattle @mammamelinaNestled in a charming corner, Mamma Melina Ristorante in Seattle welcomes guests with its cozy ambiance and surprisingly spacious interior. The restaurant’s cool decor, including paintings on the roof in the bar area, adds a touch of character to the dining experience.Mamma Melina maintains a relaxed vibe without feeling overwhelming. As we settled into our seats, we were greeted with delicious bread, setting a promising tone for the meal ahead. We opted for the Mushroom Truffle Pizza and Chicken Risotto from the menu. The Mushroom Truffle Pizza offered a delightful fusion of flavors, with the truffle adding a distinct and enjoyable taste. Meanwhile, the Chicken Risotto provided a comforting and satisfying dining experience, highlighting the kitchen’s adeptness in preparing tender and flavorful chicken. For dessert we ordered the delicious molten lava cake with ice cream that came with raspberry and chocolate sauce, it was delicious! We devoured it! They have some great options on the menu and can’t wait to try some more.Overall, Mamma Melina Ristorante offers a good dining experience with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere.“
“The best Italian food you will get in the PNW. I am 100% Italian and very picky with authentic Italian food and this place is THE BEST! I have eaten at many Italian Restaurants in Seattle and Tropea has them all beat. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend a visit!“
“The place is nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay there. The service was pretty good, although it was very slow. We waited 20-30 minutes for our salad and 40-45 minutes for the margarita pizza, even though we came at 5pm when the restaurant was not too crowded. The food was very good, although not perfect. We enjoyed the beet antipasti and the Caesar salad. The pizza was quite delicious, with a thin crust, but not just out of the oven like I prefer. Also, the crust was very crispy. This may work for some people, but I prefer it to be softer like a regular Italian pizza.Overall, I would recommend to friends and would probably try it again.“
“This is my first visit to Volterra and I was very pleasantly surprised. The server was prompt, helpful with wine selections and professional. The food was excellent. I had Duck and the portion was far more that I could eat and priced at $40. My spouse had Chicken Pesto, which was a special. It was only $30, very tasty and generous amount. Volterra goes to the top of our Kirkland restaurant list.“
“This place is AMAZING! We had a large group looking for a place to eat pretty last minute. When we called to see if they could take us, they welcomed us with open arms, even though we would be coming in 45 minutes until closing. The food was the best, authentic Italian, the portions was perfect, and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I'm so glad we found this place! We will definitely be visiting again the next time we're in Bellevue!“
“My friend and I came here to celebrate my new job and it’s excellent! She told me when I chose this restaurant that she’s Italian so she’s going to be hard to impress but Calabria did it! She too loved the food. Service was excellent and our server was cracking jokes the whole time. Excellent experience!“
“Beautiful Italian restaurant in a corner location that affords fantastic people-watching (at least if you stop in for lunch).I’ve eaten a LOT of gnocchi in my life and I don’t think I’ve ever encountered another so pillowy and delicate. I’d say it was the highlight of my day, but then I got the tiramisu for dessert. My taste buds will be doing a happy dance for the rest of the week thanks to this meal. It’s not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The food is worth every penny and then some. Also Cristian is personable and attentive without hovering. It’s an art and he’s mastered it.The restaurant operates on the European style of dining (while serving solidly American portion sizes) - you won’t receive your bill until you request it. When so many restaurants are focused on turning tables (or replacing employees with kiosks), this is a wonderful reminder of what a dining experience can be.I have family coming into town at the end of the month and before I even finished the meal, I was texting to see if I could treat them to dinner here. While I live in north Snohomish county, I will ABSOLUTELY be driving back down here. The food and dining experience are superb.Parking: For electric vehicle drivers, there’s a dedicated street parking spot right in front of the entrance. It requires the use of a ChargePoint level 1 charger so even though I had to be charging to use the spot, it was $1.66 for 53 minutes.“
“Plenty of street parking around the area, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Restaurant charges a 22% service fee automatically on the bill. Service is excellent. Food plating and presentation all look amazing! Taste is somewhat above average.“
“Amazing food and great service! This was our first visit here, and it's our new go-to for Italian food. Portion sizes are huge and the prices are great for what you get. Our youngest got the kid's pizza, the older one got the tortellini, hubby got the meat lover's pizza, and I got the prime rib dip. The pizza crust and sauce were fantastic, and the cheese and toppings generous. The rib dip was delicious, beef was cooked medium, lots of cheese, and the bread nice and crusty. The server was friendly with a great sense of humor.Kid-friendliness: Great place for families. Kid's menu.“
“Great food, great service. Happy we went there for the evening, would probably go again. Missed opportunity by staff not acknowledging it was a birthday dinner that I had noted in the reservation. Not a big deal, just a missed opportunity to make it a little more special that's all. Overall a good experience!“
“Italian at its best. Cassic dishes. I had the caesar salad. The Accompanying bread was absolutely divine - fingers size with garlic and couldn't really discern if it had butter but a touch perhaps. My family used to come here and the Restaurant has not lost its touch. The kitchen smelled divine. Our waitperson was super helpful discreet and efficient.Definitely going back.Vegetarian options: It's italian there's gonna be cheese but i'm sure some dishes could Accommodate vegan. The small pizzas too“
“The Mill Creek Spartas is fairly new, and we often enjoy the ones in Bothell and Lynnwood so we decided to drive up and try it. They have the same fantastic food, wonderful service, and same great menu. As usual we had salads and entrées but then took home a "half baked" pizza to have a day or two later. Being in a strip mall, there isn't the same decor as the other two, and less seating, but if you live nearby you are lucky to have the best Italian food and takeout pizza there.“
“Did a quick google search for a dine in pizza place and this popped up. At first glance it was run down and dated but the service was excellent, the woman who served us was very kind and patient with our wild kids. The food was DELICIOUS! Perfectly crisp crust, not too greasy, we got some orders of cheese bread which was gooey and buttery and mouth watering.Definitely recommend!“
“We were there for my Mother's birthday and everything was great! The food was excellent and the service, we had one couple that was almost an hour late and we were never made to feel uncomfortable. Other guests were all greeted warmly by the host (owner?) and it seemed that she knew and remembered everyone. Those she didn't know she tried to make feel like old friends. I wouldn't be able to afford frequent dinners here but if I could I would want to make it at least once a week. Highly recommend!Parking: The street parking was plentiful enough but the city has recently restricted it to 2 hours until 8 PM. Businesses on the block are trying to get this changed back to 5 PM, which would be helpful.“
“One of the best restaurants around! I've been a regular for years. The Santorini is my favorite pizza: I like to add jalapenos, pineapple, and feta cheese as well. The pastas are fantastic: my favorites are spaghetti with meatballs, fettuccine, and tortellini. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends or family. I would recommend it to anyone for a great dining experience!“
“We love this local gem! The pizza & burgers are SO good and my new favorite thing is how seriously they took my son’s list of food intolerances. It’s hard for us to eat out with him, and they helped us feel safe & supported. We will definitely be back again soon! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“
“Awesome pizza! Don’t sleep on the Feta Sticks! Great place to meet some friends for some laughs, drinks and great food! It’s a regular stop for my gatherings with friends. It can get busy though for all the reasons I mentioned, so make sure you get a spot early.I am always on bar side though, so I can’t speak to the other side, but I bet it’s just as rad as bar side, just less TV’s.Parking: Can get hard to find a spot at certain times of day.“
“Pleasantly surprised! It’s been years (decades) since I’ve wandered about 6th Ave and wow has it changed (in a good way)! We made our way here at the end of the night for some pizza and brews. Fun vibe and bartenders were friendly! We are vegetarians who miss the flavor of meat and we’ve learned not every pizza place can make a flavorful vegetarian pizza… Half Pint Pizza Pub can! The cheese was melted the right amount, the crust was the right amount of crunchy yet soft, and the sauce and flavors were on point! It was the perfect way to end our date night out!“
“Was craving buffalo wings and decided to give this spot a try. Overall very pleased with my experience and the wings are solid! I typically only like blue cheese when I have buffalo wings, and they have great blue cheese, nice and chunky?. They don't specialize in wings, so they only have 3 flavors of sauce...keep that in mind. They get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me...oh customer service is great too!“
“Hands-down, the best, Italian, not just in seattle, but to me in the country! Specifically the bolognese is very unique ! I used to live here but now I come back every time I visit Seattle it’s worth the drive into bellevueIf you come here, you should also try the tortellini and also the special chicken with artichoke and mushroom. So yummy ! See pics“
“It had been many years since my last visit to Acropolis Pizza and Pasta. Don't know why I waited so long. It won't be that long before I return this time. The waitress was gracious and attentive. The food was excellent and a generous serving for a very reasonable price. I decided to try something different so ordered the Mediterranean Dish. No Pasta, just a good amount of shrimp simmered in onions and mushrooms with a flavorful tomato and cream sauce. Served with pita bread to soak up the wonderful sauce. Chose the side salad to complete an excellent meal. Clean and well maintained. Very inviting. Highly recommended.“
“I'm not gonna lie. Pasta ya Gotcha has a very....very very very very very very special place in my heart. Ever since I was first introduced to Pasta ya Gotcha that fateful Tuesday many years ago at the Redw Cafe.....my life has been changed. I will never look at Tuesday's the same....I must have Texas Tijuana Taco Penne Tuesday. My team switched buildings and I still went to Redw on Tuesdays. The pandemic hit and now I order Door Dash. I realize this may not be everyone's jam, but I'll tell you what....the marriage of Italian and Mexican food and the perfect offspring of Texas Tijuana Taco Penne is a remarkable thing. Thank you, Pasta ya Gotcha, for making my dreams come true!“
“Good pizza, but for the ambience and overall quality I wish they were cheaper. Pizza prices are the same as Serious Pie or Spark Pizza (Redmond), but the ambience and overall feel needs a massive overhaul (if you are going to charge the same prices as Serious Pie and Spark Pizza)“
“Excellent, delicious pizza at an affordable price. I paid $28 for a large size combo pizza (it has 7 toppings) and the pizza was delicious, crust was cooked wonderfully and the toppings all tasted very fresh. It easily fed all four of us with a couple slices left over. Easily the best pizza I've ever had from a pizza chain.“
“Pleasant little restaurant with friendly staff. Decided on the small pizza as this is my first time here. I had the Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, there are about 30 different types of pizza so can cater for even the most pickiest of eaters. It made a nice change to see the filling under the cheese. They also do spaghetti dishes, ravioli, fettuccine etc.“
“We celebrated our daughter's birthday with dinner. The calamari appetizer was fresh and elegantly served. Spinach salad with mushrooms, bacon, and Gorgonzola was delicious. The three pasta dishes we tried were absolutely perfect! Service was well paced and attentive. We will definitely return to Luigi's!“
“Food and atmosphere were standard to an Olive Garden, and what we were expecting, but what really made the evening memorable was our server Rita. She absolutely. MADE. OUR. NIGHT!! I only make reviews when things are amazing or absolutely terrible, and her service MADE me write a review. Honestly, I've worked in the service industry before and she was what every server strives for. Her entire service made us feel welcomed and a priority, and I don't think I had as much fun during a meal than I did tonight. I appreciate you hiring her and thank the hostesses for seating us in her section!! Also a shout out to everyone there that helped us tonight!“
“I come here multiple times a week to get food for my wife she has stuff going on medically that there's only certain things that she can eat and thank God this place is one of them! The food here is great and it's not super expensive either the staff is awesome always very professional very polite and super friendly to kids too it's great! I highly recommend this place for pizza and pasta, the macaroni and cheese is delicious. The food always hot and fresh and if they only have a little bit of something left they have no problem whipping up some new food. It's always a great experience and if I could give more than five stars I wouldParking: It's the mall there's plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Every time I bring my daughter with me to get food the staff are always super nice and friendly and always make my daughter laugh and smile“
“Hubby and I have been to Italy and this place comes pretty close to the food we experienced in Italy. We didn’t have a reservation but they squeezed us in anyway. The food came pretty quick and it was absolutely delicious. Really wish they had a restaurant in Olympia.“
