“Love the farm to table approach and that the restaurant pays their staff a living wage. Some of the food options are unique, which I liked, and the ham and gouda crepes I had were delicious. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite aspect of the restaurant is the décor! Love the eclectic art from local artists, fire place and nature inspired chandelier.“

“Really enjoyed our visit to MBC. Our bartender, Christian, was spot on. She answered my many questions quickly and correctly. A small mix-up in my order was remedied immediately. Good draft selection. (32 0z. option, mmm). Cheese curd sampler outstanding. The two of us almost couldn't eat more. Glad we did, though. Double patty smash burger, yummy. Three bacon choices, yummy. (Think large Steak and Shake, but GOOD). Fresh cut fries, battered fries, and tons of menu choices. Will be back.“

“We were in town for a softball tournament and stopped in Friday night for dinner. Niko was our server. Great food and outstanding service. Niko did a great job with our table of 8 moms with lots of questions and special food requests. Saturday night, we were thinking of where to go to dinner — and we all agreed — El Camino Kitchen. “We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“

“We've been going to Ron and Pats for years, but their new pizza combo's are excellent. We just had the Sicillian with the thin crust extra crispy, and it's one of the best pizzas we've had there! If you haven't been, it's such a great place, amazing staff who are ultra friendly. Their website and online ordering are super smooth and easy to use. It's definitely worth the trip for great pizza!!!!“

“It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. Long story short they made the order again and delivered the food a second time. I appreciate the the staff and their understanding. Thank you for your great service and food!“

“Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“

“I enjoy Costco! The gas pumps alone are worth the membership! I made up my membership in 4 months with what I saved at the pumps! I like the quality of the products offered. There's food, of course. But Carhartt jackets? HP printers and laptops? Yep, cheaper than most places.Costco has rotisserie chickens presently priced at $4.99. No sense in buying one for $6.99 someplace else. And if you call the snack bar, you can order a yummy Costco pizza and have it ready for pickup at the low price of $9.95. Or stay and eat a hot dog and have a soft drink, $1.50. Sadly, Costco sells Pepsi products in their snack bar, so no Coke. But a $1.50 for a hot dog meal???The wide array of produce, meat cuts, and bakery items. Honestly, there are places that are cheaper, but not at that high quality. Did I mention there's a floral department, a pharmacy, an eye doctor and glasses? There is!It's just a pleasant place to stroll, particularly on a rainy or snowy day. It's well lit, especially for a warehouse. And the employees are darn nice.“

“Service is on point. Very friendly people there. The set up of the bar is awesome. The food was good and the portion sizes were perfect. My mini corn dogs were a little dark. Maybe I caught them in need to change the oil day. Prices are typical prices for a bar. Just really amazed how well that bar is taken care of inside.“
