“We've been going to Ron and Pats for years, but their new pizza combo's are excellent. We just had the Sicillian with the thin crust extra crispy, and it's one of the best pizzas we've had there! If you haven't been, it's such a great place, amazing staff who are ultra friendly. Their website and online ordering are super smooth and easy to use. It's definitely worth the trip for great pizza!!!!“

“It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. Long story short they made the order again and delivered the food a second time. I appreciate the the staff and their understanding. Thank you for your great service and food!“

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“

“Stopped by randomly on a Sunday and was super impressed. My wife had the ham and cheese melt with pot roast soup. Grilled to perfection, and the soup was homemade and was super flavorful. I had the chicken dinner, with homemade slaw, roll and potato pancakes. The chicken had a nice crisp to it and the potato pancakes are some of the best I had. Chuck was one of the cooks, not sure if he was an owner or not, but he does a good job in the kitchen and super friendly.That plus the bartender, who was super nice, and friendly. Great drink prices and service. If you are in the area, this is a must stop.“

“Service is on point. Very friendly people there. The set up of the bar is awesome. The food was good and the portion sizes were perfect. My mini corn dogs were a little dark. Maybe I caught them in need to change the oil day. Prices are typical prices for a bar. Just really amazed how well that bar is taken care of inside.“

“Thank you Pizza Time! Over Christmas we had 2 birthdays and Christmas to host. For one of the days we decided on pizza. I called in advance to place our order. I gave the lady the date and time we would need the pizzas delivered. I called the morning of to make sure we were on track. The young man had the order correct and they were working on it. “We order from Jimano’s occasionally for dinner but recently used them for a party. I called a week ahead and spoke with Ryan. He helped me decide how much to order, took my order, scheduled delivery and took payment over the phone. He was very friendly yet professional. On the evening of the party (a Saturday) the order arrived precisely on time. The delivery person was very friendly, polite and accommodating. The pizzas were hot and the salad was cold! They even included silverware packets and plenty of napkins. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely use them again!“

“I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.“

“Went to a Sip n Paint party here. Arrived early to grab a bite. Good food, it's off season right now so wasn't to busy other than for painting. It's a large place which is needed in the summer, it's popular and has a shuttle boat to take you to their lake bar which is always a good time.“

“Ever since new ownership the food quality has gone down hill. Ordered a kids Mac & cheese and what was delivered was kraft out of the box. Not what you expect from a nice restaurant. The chicken sandwich was one small chicken finger. We go there about 2 times a month but it was with the old owner. Also saw bioengineer food packaging on the Oster crackers (sysco food product). I know it's hard to find food not made with chemicals but we try and best to not eat it. The service there is great though!! Best service ever!!!“

“Lucky Penny's is a place to gamble. A little pricey on the alcohol, shots ect.. it was nice place and had a calming atmosphere. They had pool tables next room over and ,2 dart machine in the main part with the bar and the machine to gamble. If I was in that area again might stop by. I wouldn't go out of my way. Not sure if they had food cuz we didn't order anything. I'm guessing maybe pizza.The 2 employees we encountered were very nice & friendly.“

The oven they have looks really cool for one but it perfectly softens yet crisps the fresh dough. Think of MOD pizza with fresh ingredients. The staff was informative about how they prepare and store the ingredients without me having to ask. They had a wide range of toppings for their pizzas. If pizza isn’t your thing, no worries! “Snowy night, just home from work, have been trying to find a thin crust, not soggy pizza AND we got it! We chose the chicken, bacon, cheddar speciality pizza. It was a delightful change from my standard sausage and mushroom.
