“Our second time there is the past couple of months. Once for lunch and tonight for fish. Both times the meals were great. Friday fish (the cod had the most wonderful, light beer batter breading) was wonderful. Once again we were met by one of the most personable people - Mary. She's right there to greet us, pays attention to our "specific" drink choices and to our orders. Service was quick and Hot - thanks also to the Chef. But hats off to Mary for remembering us and being very friendly. The bar was full and noisy but the overall atmosphere is great - it's a landmark and I hope it continues to do a thriving business. Mary seems to wear many hats but handles it well. We'll definitely be back.“
“Owner wouldn’t believe us that our food order was wrong so he proceeded to take a fork and dig through 4 orders of tacos to make sure they were made with fish instead of shrimp. You could CLEARLY see it was fish. Did not comp us anything for our food and expected us to eat the food he just dug through. THEN THE OTHER owner came to apologize for the incident and STILL didn’t offer to make it right. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT go there.“
“Great local place for some great food. We were very excited to try it for the first time. I got the lunch special. Salmon Power Bowl with rice, avocado, arugula, an egg and sweet potatoes. It was one of the best tasting protein bowls I've ever had. Wish this would be a full time menu item! Wife had the Gnocchi pasta. It was also fantastic. Kirk is a great server and provides excellent service.“
“Some of the best brunch food in the Fox Valley. Always busy, so reservations are helpful especially if you go on Fri or Sat. We had a wait time of an hour on a Friday afternoon, partly our fault for not having a reservation. Management apologized up and down even though we were completely understandable. Sometimes the chatty Kathy's sit for 45 mins after finishing their meal. The ingredients are so delicious and the service is outstanding. The smashed avocado toast is phenomenal.“

“I had a recommendation that this was a good place to get a Gyro. As soon as I opened the front door, I could smell the spices and hear the grill going! The music was on point and I was already pleasantly surprised! I believe the man who took my order was also cooking so it took a second before I was able to order which was perfectly fine because I’ve never been there before. I ordered the biggest Gyro on the menu and it was by far the best Gyro I’ve had in a long time. I will be back to this place in a hurry!! “We went for an early dinner on a Saturday. By 6pm every seat in the restaurant was full - with good reason. The food was amazing. Roasted beet salad, pork belly appetizer, duck and an off menu item - steak and frites. Each was beautifully presented and delicious. Service was attentive.“
“Friday Fishfry was amazing. Kim, our waitress/ bartender was very friendly and knowable of the menu and offerings. She started us off with some really excellent muddled Brandy old fashions. Our dinner were the deep-fried haddock baked haddock and deep fried scallops. All very delicious and piping hot.It was close to the end of dinner rush so Kim was able to spend a little time chit chatting with us about the area and that we should come back for the Saturday prime rib sandwich special or Sunday chicken fry deal. “By far the best breakfast I ever had. I took my son and he got so full his stomach hurts and he had a kids meal. That was enough for an adult to eat. I had rib eye steak breakfast and requested for it to be diced up and they accepted my request which was very kind of the chef. But only thing I didn't like is my waitress. She kept being in a rush at my table. Couldn't even get all my words out. No smile or nothing. But i notice with everyone else she was smiling and waited to people finished talking. I had to Keep trying to get her attention because she never let me finished what I was saying. But when she start being nice and asking my son age is when I ask her where do I write tip at. “Allow me to preface this review with the fact that I've moved up here from the south, so I know a thing or two about good barbecue, and I can be quite picky when it comes to this subject.With that out of the way, I'd like to praise this chain (and this location in particular) for becoming my new home away from home. Do not let the name fool you; this isn't just a generic pizza place, but a genuine, southern-style barbecue restaurant that happens to also offer pizza. Not only do they serve sweet tea, like every restaurant honestly should, but their tea is also genuinely great! My wife loves the mango-flavored one, whereas I go for the standard version, as I tend to. Seriously, this is one of like five places in northeastern Wisconsin where you can find genuine sweet tea (unless we count the other locations, of course).That being said, of course I have to talk about the food as well. I've read about on their history a bit, and it would appear the people who started this chain (in Kiel, WI, I believe) actually used to work in Kansas City, slinging up smoked meats and the like, and let me tell ya: you can absolutely taste it. The ribs in particular are great here (arguably top 3, but definitely top 5 I've ever had), and we also like to get the brisket as part of our shared platter. Now, I won't lie to you; the brisket isn't quite as consistent. While I'd rate the ribs 9/10, the brisket ranges from 6.5 to 8 out of 10; they have their good days and their bad ones when it comes to that, but it's not bad enough to where I wouldn't recommend it, as it still gets the job done, and I'm frankly somewhat of a brisket fiend. And even when it's not as good as I know it so often can be, it's nothing their sauce won't be able to fix, which I'd also like to point out: is amazing. I'm always a huge fan of Memphis and South Carolina styles, and they're both fantastic. The rest of the sauces are good, too. My wife really likes the pineapple habanero one, which I wish was spicier, but does have a nice sweetness to it.My one criticism would be that I feel that every barbecue restaurant needs to have either collard, mustard, or turnip greens, which I love to have as a side. But I do like their baked beans and mac and cheese well enough.Overall, great place to have within an hour of where we live. Southerners, this is the one! This place is authentic, right down to the wonderful atmosphere it provides. And the price is right, too.Parking: While the free street parking is limited, I have never seen it get busy enough to stop us from parking nearby, even during peak hours. I have a feeling this one of the less visited locations, which is a shame, because my wife and I love it!“
“This was our first time ever bowling without a computer telling us. So that was quite interesting. But I did like that we could play as many games as we wanted and then pay. “First Culver's I have been in that I couldn't rate five stars. Newer Culver's, needs a little work. The food was great. We ordered two hot fudged sundaes, and it seems like it took forever. We did not time it. The wife finally went up to the counter to see if our oder got lost. Our ice cream came, no hot fudge. They took them back and corrected it. Nothing was said. A simple sorry can go a long way. I have been in a Culver's where I was over heard that my order was wrong. And in couple of minutes I had a manager at the table apologizing. Need to work on talking to customers. Short and sweet, but they need to talk and smile.“
