“Been going here since I was a kid. Rule 1. They will always be busy. Rule 2. Navigate the parking lot with care. Only standing tables are available so expect to grab and go or each outside. The bun quality has taken but for plate sized burgers, they deliver on meat quality. The fries are also delicious. Custard is the best I've had. It will be pricey if you in with a family.“

“Stopped in before a show at The Rave. As someone who is not used to the big city I was concerned because the surrounding area does not seem great. I am very uniformed about save and unsafe neighborhoods so I really was not sure.Let me put that to the side. I was very pleased with the warm welcome, the food, the beverage selection, and the service. I may be wrong but it seems to be a family bar and grill and everything was fantastic. I 110% recommend stopping here. I will be for all my future shows and I go to alot of them.Parking: Good size parking on the side of the building as well as street parking. I had no issue getting a spot in the lot.“

“First of all...I know great food. I love to eat and create dishes of my own. But, my mother and uncle who have always both been great cooks themselves, had been "frequently" going to this place in Greenfield named Double B's BBQ, just to get away for some peace and good food, in a great environment, with good people. I remember after her first time, she was recommending that I seriously go and try this place. She specifically mentioned how well prepared and delicious that "everything was". Then gave a special shout out to The Pecan Pie, while rubbing her belly and a look of utopia on her face, all while licking her lips. My mother doesn't usually react this way to other people's cooking very often. Almost never. So last night February 24th about 8:00pm, I decided to call Double B's and Natalia answers with a professional and welcoming voice. It sounded extremely busy in the background even though they were closing at 10pm. Natalia made me comfortable that a spot at the Bar should open up as long as I was alone. She was 100% correct, as she was the first face to greet me when I arrived. Reservations are highly recommended. The place is obviously popular and deserves more accolades. No joke..I sat at the bar, and met Steve, to my left. He ordered The Double B's Burger that had great presentation along with an appetizing appeal. It looked good enough that I seriously considered ordering it to go. Steve disclosed that he frequently has been a customer since before Double B's relocated from the commercial space directly West (next door) of this slightly bigger space. Next, I was greeted by Nikki who gave me the rundown of the four signature sauces along with a tutorial of the flavors.I then received the menu. They had sold out of the ½ Chicken and The popular Pecan Pie. I did a two meat combo. Beef Brisket (God as my witness, was the best in flavor, texture, melted in my mouth, delicious). And the ½ Slab Baby Back Ribs that came with 2 sides and a cornbread muffin tipped with a decorative and soft/spreadable Butter. I had coleslaw and the 7-Cheese Mac & Cheese. I also met Jenni, who stepped in to assist when Nikki was busy serving with a smile. I also had a double of Bacardi and Lemonade on The Rocks, in a tall glass. They make a real drink! A single would have worked. They make a quality drink people. Hint, hint. And finally, I met the General Manager, Andy, who I observed all night, overseeing, and being hands on. I asked Andy who I can thank for this great food? He simply deferred to the Chef and crew, who were busy making these amazing dishes. In the voice of Arnold S. The Terminator. "I'LL BE BACK!"..With friends and family!Parking: Street parking, free parking, it's on Greenfield ,so there are plenty of free options.Kid-friendliness: Kids definitely welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Ground level ADA accessibility“

“Granddaughter wanted a cheeseburger for lunch, her favorite! Looked for delivery in our area and came upon this site. Food was so delicious. Delivered to us in less than 30 minutes. Burgers were massive on brioche buns. Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were fresh and crisp. Found our nearby go to spot!“

“Nice service, good food, great beer. The inside is low key and charming- it felt like a great neighborhood place, with a really lovely atmosphere. They have a more curated list of beers, but they are very good in different styles. And they’re bike friendly with Bike Benefits, right near the Hank Aaron State Trail :)“

“I had an omelet that was very delicious. I had to add salt and pepper to the grits but it was ok. I has a side of chicken that was crispy but not seasoned and it didn't seem to be cleaned prior to cooking because there was so much fat under the breading. Other than that the food is reasonably priced. I would go back.“

“Stopped at Sobelmans after picking up relatives at the Amtrak station just down the street on St.Paul. Although the place was busy and getting busier as we walked in we got a table for the 4 four of us. Our server was very good got our drinks quickly which included a coke a light beer a red wine and the Sobelman classic bloody Mary which my companion said was excellent. We ordered onion rings as an appitizer while we looked at the menu they came very quickly and were excellent. Orders were placed for 2 cheeseburgers one for me and one for my sister and her husband who it split and I now know why and my companion ordered the The Bomb which comes with bacon, fried onions, mushrooms and Bleu cheese dressing. All the burgers are served with fries and pickles and they were very very good and after having one I understood why my relatives split there's as they are good sized burgers with plenty of fries. About the only thing to be careful about is there parking lot which is a bit small and on a steep angle next to the place but there is parking around the immediate area if you don't want to chance the hill climb.? Would I let that stop me from going here again oh hell no. Great place with great service and great food you won't be disappointed. Oh and if you like to have a beer or 2 they have a great selection.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger.“

“Pro tip, make it a double cheeseburger. On my personal three point scale, it was a 1.5/3. Elsa's is better IMO. However, super inexpensive and still very good. Good quick meal. Cheddar fries solid. I prefered the chicken sandwhich over the cheeseburger (probably because of the garlic aioli).“

“First time here and it was better than anything I could imagine! Had the How High with the waffle fries and the sweet chili wings. Washed it down with the Salted Caramel Shake! Everything was freckin delicious! Can't wait to come back. Only thing was they ran out of oat milk and had to substitute with almond for my milkshake. Highly recommend this spot!!!!“

“We're from Chicago and this place had some pretty decent stuff. We had the Polish, Gyro, and a sub. Everything was fresh. Polish and Gyro were just like what we'd get in the city....the sub was just okay and that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Overall will be back the next time we're in town.“

“EXCELLENT service! Especially for a busy Friday night AND we sat at the bar. The staff were friendly, tentative, and kind! I also appreciated that the bartenders worked as a team and checked in on each other’s customers. Superb service! They apologized for the wait on our food, but we didn’t think we waited long at all! Our appetizers came out right away with our drinks and food came out shortly after! AND it was delicious!! They even gave us a token for free drinks next time we go!Vegetarian options: Plenty vegetarian options and substitutionsDietary restrictions: They have allergens clearly listed even for their beer options. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options and substitutions“

“Pete’s is a great little pub, especially in contrast to most of the other options on Brady St. It’s definitely a sports bar (and a great place to catch early morning football matches or F1 races!), but without all the neon and cheesiness, and with unexpectedly great drink options. The food menu is full of great versions of popular pup foods, and the staff is always really friendly and good at what they do. You do have to order everything at the bar (vs. servers and table service) which can be a little cumbersome and hectic when the pub gets busy, but it’s not really something that takes away from the experience as a whole. Overall, highly recommend this place!“

“Love this place- the food, the vibe, everything. Anytime Arepa is consistently amazing. The cocktails at the bar are good. This is a monthly summertime destination for us, but we still stop and pick up food to go in the colder months.Dietary restrictions: Anytime Arepa is a mostly gluten free truck. They have delicious vegetarian options as well. A few of the other trucks have vegetarian options as well.“

“Izzy Hops is a bar with nice ambience with a full bar and plenty of tap beers. The servers are friendly. They have a nice city patio for the few months out of the year we get to enjoy such pleasures in life. This bar definitely seems like it has all age ranges, and is not full of people who are freshly drinking age. This is a nice place to grab drinks with friends or even a first date!“

“Met a friend for our annual catch-up. We were mildly flummoxed, not having researched it, at the opening time of 2P, but that worked out ok. She put us at a table in a pleasant room away from the bar, at our hour it was excellent for conversation. We just shared some wine from the bar, so can't really comment on food or ongoing service (the bar happily provided glasses of wine). The vibe was nice, and we felt welcome despite our very modest contribution to the day's receipts!Parking: Mid-afternoon there were several spaces available.“

“What a great experience. We celebrated a family birthday with a party of 9. Our waitress was fantastic. Very attentive. Anticipated our needs. We brought a cake. She provided a generous ice cream sundae for the birthday boy. Food was so good. Monster Burger was perfect. Plenty to split b/w two. Need knife and fork! Brisket baked potato was a delicious satisfying lighter option. Cheese curds were perfectly done.We will be back for happy hour.Location is easy on easy off I94.Parking: It was busy for a Sunday. “We were looking for a place with some good burgers and we sure found that here! But not only were the burgers delicious so was everything else! We tried out one of their many bloody's and it was amazing! I love how you can pick and choose what you want in your bloody! The service was outstanding as well! We loved the atmosphere! It had a great welcoming feeling. We are from out of town and we were treated like a local! Everyone including the other patrons were very friendly! “Coming from the south, I have been looking for great bbq for almost a year now. This is definitely the best I have found in the Milwaukee area! Their pulled pork, burnt ends, and even their shrimp and grits were to die for. ALL of their sauces were amazing as well! However, the brisket was well over cooked and not much flavor at all. No bark, no juice, and was like eating a tender piece of jerky. BBQ is not a Midwest thing I have come to find out, but other than the brisket this is the closest you are going to get around here! All the servers were great, and made excellent drink recommendations. The inside of the restaurant has a very "Nashville" feel, too. We will be back!“

“Merriment Social is a beautiful venue that is one of our favorite places to eat in the city. It has such a unique charm and atmosphere, with an incredible food and drink menu. The staff is always so friendly and treats us like family whenever we visit. We love it so much, in fact, that we held our wedding reception here in November 2023, and it was such an incredible and stress-free experience working with Joe, Sam, and the team. Would recommend to host events here, but also to just grab a bite to eat!“

“6 people. Service was fantastic! Burgers seemed like a frozen patty I could make at home. One person had the special was shown as wrap, which came as a sandwich. But was still very good. One had French toast she said was good. We'd go back again, but not getting a burger. May try breakfast.“

“Had a 6pm reservation, but even though it was packed, got us a table early. Cheese curds with ranch and jalapeño ranch were very good, creamy cheese, good taste. jalapeño ranch mild, not overwhelming. Had peartini, and peach pomegranate martini, also very good. All food came out quickly. 2 large Walleye, very moist and flakey, great taste. A little oily, but it's to be expected with thin batter. Fries were done well, with a touch of lemon, or lemon pepper maybe..good taste. Coleslaw also had a different flavoring that complimented the flavor. This is definitely a go to for fish fry going forward!!“

“Tasty Fish Fry, lightly battered and less oily as advertised. They do carry a vast variety which usually we don't see in WI. Visited on a Friday evening and it was bursting with people. Had to wait for an hour to be seated. There were a few open spots in the bar. Staff was friendly. Next time, plan to visit around 8pm to get a table easily and to avoid the crowd.“

“Great menu. A good variety though not too big which, to me, is usually a plus since it can be hard to do everything well. I was told about this place by someone who said that they never been disappointed here. I got a spaghetti dinner to go and it was what's up. The service was great. The owner is who rung me up and he was quick, efficient and super friendly. It's hard to find something like this in a neighborhood such as mine so kudos for being brave enough to be at this location. Highly recommend.“

“First of all the Shack burger is outstanding! The Third Ward location was hopping on Saturday night. Service was excellent, staff really does a good job. Considering how busy it was the wait wasn't bad. This location is spacious & clean. I love it that they provide cups & water by the condiments.“

“The St. Bibiana's burger is the best in the city if not the entire Midwest. Literally mouthwatering. Sit at the bar. The bartenders are attentive and approachable. The interior style tilts toward dancing hotspot, which it does become at night, but don't let that distract you from ordering the burger.“

“For reference: The food is the biggest reason they are getting my 5 star review. I ordered the Friday fish Fry and my fiancé got a burger. We also got the nachos and 4 drink. It costed 54$ without the tip. Personally I felt that the ambiance and atmosphere was perfect dive bar material. Especially as a local in the neighborhood it was refreshing to have something typical. The service was kind of slow and it took awhile to get the bartenders attention due to the layout of the bar which is very one side heavy. My fiancé didn't did not appreciate the slower service but despite this the drinks were nice. The crowd was a little bit older but warm once you break the ice. The food: The fish fry was a top 3 for me in the whole city. As a born and raised milwaukee guy I was really impressed with both my entree and the nachos which had great chips and a great disbursement of toppings. My fiancé said her burger and fries were delicious. The fries were perfectly made. Conclusion: If you're patient and have the time to have some drinks and wait. The food is worth it! Overall I would recommend this bar/restaurant to anyone thats in the area and hope they continue to offer the great deals!“

“Brilliant place for a vegetarian burger and fries. Good selection of beer too. “The atmosphere here is great, servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The burgers and drinks are fabulous!! The only disappointment was the nachos. “My friends and I did a little mini custard tasting with vanilla custard from Kitt’s, Leon’s, Kopp’s, and Gillies. And it was a unanimous Kitt’s as #1 out of those 4. The custard was the most creamy out of the 4 and had a rich flavor compared to the others.“

“Nice little bar in a prime location. Haven't really drank there much, but I am a very big fan of the food. “This is a nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat while at UWM. I have been here a couple of times with classmates and it is quite convenient to have something on campus like this. “I just popped through the drive thru to get a burger and soda. I could hear a conversation the male worker was having with someone else, and he kept asking me to repeat myself. He was obviously not paying attention. Pulled up to pay, and he was on his phone. Pulled forward for my food, and that worker was also on his phone. The burger I got was luke warm at best, but I was already too far to turn around.“
