“Despite this being one of our favorite dinner options, I realize now I've never actually reviewed them (outside of the brunch pop-up, which I still think should be a permanent on their menu). We went on the Saturday evening of St. Patrick's Day and it was jam packed! Fortunately it wasn't too long of a wait for a table. The back patio was open, but it seems they are no longer allowed to have heating elements back there, so on a chilly day, you will definitely feel it. They do have some blankets you can borrow if you choose to mingle in the patio. I got their gin and jam drink called Rude Barb and my husband got their Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was on the sweeter side, which he loved. My gin and rhubarb jam cocktail was out of this world! It was definitely a spring cocktail, which made me forget about the very much not spring weather outside. Between the two of us, we shared the buffalo cauliflower, the Brussels sprouts, and the produce root fries. The buffalo cauliflower is top tier. The buffalo sauce is incredible and the blue cheese dip it comes with gives it a really nice tang. The Brussels sprouts will make any vegetable hater double think their choices. It's piled high and seems endless, which is great because it will leave you coming back for more. The root fries were a new for us and it might be a new favorite. Each fry was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We chose to get it with a side of cilantro crema and it worked beautifully. I would highly recommend this dish! There are also different board and card games available for you to borrow while you drink and/or dine. It's always a good time here!“
“Get the pretzel, you will not regret it! We've been there numerous times and you can't go wrong with any of the food options. Brats (obviously), but the pretzel and tots are also great late night options. Also, they have one of the best bloody Mary! The nice thing about the pretzel too is you can order it uncooked and take it home to bake later!“
“Great place, awesome staff. I am from France and only heard about Culver’s after moving to Milwaukee. Honestly, I was surprised by the quality of the food, but more importantly, the service! The staff is always smiling, super nice, and helpful. I’ve already eaten there three times and plan to bring my friends and family when they visit.“
“I been here about a year ago and just visit again for the second time. I wish I would’ve took a pic of my food but I scarfed it down? we ordered half chicken , baby back ribs , burnt ends , brisket , Mac , & corn bread. Their Texas bbq is the best!!! My family favorite was the burnt ends. I on the other hand enjoyed the ribs and brisket it was very juicyyyy. The young gentleman in the front who took my order was so kind & helped me pick out what to get . I love that he was very knowledgeable behind the meats like as far as what was more tender what was his favorites. It helped me pick out my order. I spent about $80+ and I didn’t regret it. Worth the money for sure. Atmosphere is always beautiful here snd service was a 10/10“
“Granddaughter wanted a cheeseburger for lunch, her favorite! Looked for delivery in our area and came upon this site. Food was so delicious. Delivered to us in less than 30 minutes. Burgers were massive on brioche buns. Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were fresh and crisp. Found our nearby go to spot!“
“The manager was great she was so nice she made sure my order was correct she was very polite attentive and she actually cared about me as a customer it was march 21 at 10:08pmParking: It’s a strip so you just pull up and park right outside the store“
“The atmosphere is clean and laid back with a few games for the kids to play including a rubber ducky claw game! The food is phenomenal… real hand patted burgers and the BLT had more bacon than I’ve ever seen on a BLT. Customer service was excellent! It was fast food in the sense that our order came quick but the quality was fresh and homemade. I was SO IMPRESSED. I highly recommend this burger joint! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Burgers & Bloody Marys were great. I had the Loser burger. Fries nice and crispy. Service was very good despite being busy & they gave us a free choice of a sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie to all in party when check was received. Nice surprise. A bit of a wait initially & parking not always the easiest but worth it!“
“Fantastic burgers at any price, but for $10.75 you get the Big O, or a little less for the other burgers. Sides are great. Service is great (and usually pretty fast). Have yet to have a bad experience, and I don’t expect I will. I go out of my way to come here for lunch. Truly a hidden gem, although probably not for much longer.Parking: There’s a significant curb to get over to get into the parking lot. If you drive a low car, park on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I love this place!! If you haven't tried their cocktails it is an absolute must!!! Game Changer!!! we tried the chicken samosas....those were the best I have had ever! So much flavor!!!! Butter chicken was amazing too! Highly recommend the paneer naan delicious the service was so great and in the inside was so beautiful. It's perfectly located in the heart downtown. There is free parking for customers only. I will definitely be coming back if I'm in Milwaukee. Love love love“
“Archie's reaches the peak of the perfect classic burger joint, reminiscent of a classic smash burger. The amount of food you get for a low and reasonable price at an outstanding quality. Absolutely my favorite in town thus far. Put on your leather jacket, throw on a vinyl classic, and enjoy yourself!Vegetarian options: There is a veggie burger option on the menu, the shared space ice cream shop had vegan options as well.“
“I love frozen custard and as a recent transplant to the Midwest, I've been reveling in the opportunities to enjoy it more as it's not widely available on the East Coast. I was visiting Milwaukee for a day, and all the guides said you have to go to Kopp's! I got there in the mid-afternoon and it was busy; you can tell it's always busy. They have plenty of parking, some outdoor seating, and a bunch of cows in the back. Everyone there was working hard. I ended up just ordering a basic vanilla cone (you can't go wrong with vanilla) and the person at the register charged me for a small but gave me a medium. Maybe they felt badly that the couple in front of me cut me in line? I don't know but it was worth the extra trip away from downtown to try the historic Kopp's.“
“This place was so good! A small place with a nice vibe. The staff was super nice and helpful. I’ll try to get there earlier in the day next time because some things were sold out. We got 3 kinda of pierogi, potato croquettes, and hot dish. Delicious! We will be back for sure to see what featured pierogi they come up with next.“
“Visited Milwaukee and wanted to try a good burger. This was probably the best one we tried! We tried another Kopp's in Brookfield and it was dry and very underwhelming! It was nothing like the one at this location. Service is fairly quick and the ambiance is busy and packed because it's that good!“
“Haven't been here in years. Love how nostalgic it feels.Placed my simple order very quickly. No issues at all.I was saddened to see the display sign asking customers not to be mean or rude to employees, teenagers. Come on people.Had a nice time.“
“My mom and I stopped in last night, and we were blown away by the food! My mom really enjoyed the Superbad burger, and I LOVED the Pineapple Express burger. If you’ve ever been curious about meat alternatives, you have to check this place out because it was DELICIOUS. I also cannot stop thinking about the cauliflower wings - we got the sweet chili flavor, and honestly they’re the best vegan wings I’ve ever had. Beyond the food, the place is adorable and the young lady at the counter was so friendly. The vibes were perfect and we will be back soon!“
“Someone in the reviews prior was talking about how this place is a hidden job with such wonderful food so I had to try it out. Wow. The Philly cheese is sooo delicious! Wings were hands down the best I’ve had yet in this area. Such fair prices too with large portions. Many spots in the area cost more, have less quality, and up charge using inflation excuses. This is not one of them. I can’t wait to go back.“
“We've been here a few times, and the food is always pretty good, but I'm pleased to say we've finally had something that we thought was really exceptionally well done, which was the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. These were really excellent, and I would probably get them instead of wings here in the future. The rest of the meal was good as well, a wide variety of options are available, so I'd say this is a good option for family or business meals where you need something to please different palettes. Conveniently located directly on a HOP Streetcar stop as well.“
“I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon a small corner bar in West Allis, WI, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight. This unassuming bar, with its unpretentious ambiance, turned out to be a haven for burger enthusiasts like myself. From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that we had discovered something special. We decided to try their renowned build-your-own burgers, and boy, were we blown away! We opted for the double patty, and when those burgers arrived at our table, our taste buds went into overdrive. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, these were hands down the best burgers we've had in ages. It's clear that the chefs at this corner bar take great pride in their culinary skills, and their efforts are truly commendable. What made the dining experience even more satisfying were the homemade fries that accompanied our burgers. There was no doubt that these golden, crispy delights were made in-house, as the freshness and quality were unmistakable. To top it off, the seasoning on the fries was perfectly balanced, adding just the right amount of pizzazz. But the wonders didn't stop at food alone; this corner bar's dedication to craft continued with its impressive selection of self-brewed beers and an enticing array of local craft and domestic brews. Pouring their heart into every pint, this establishment truly understands the allure of a well-crafted libation. However, what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly atmosphere cultivated by the bartenders and owners. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality and jovial demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already delightful dining experience. So, if you find yourself in West Allis and in need of a memorable burger experience, be sure to visit this small corner bar. Its phenomenal burgers are sure to satisfy your cravings, the homemade fries will leave you yearning for more, and their exceptional beers will quench your thirst. Plus, the friendly faces behind the bar will make you feel like family. Take my word for it - this hidden gem deserves your attention. Also: they make their own apple pie and offer shots for $4!!“
“Thank you very much bless it. Have not had a good meal in a while Abdullah and the guys were more than generous. The food is great no matter what is your craving. Give them a try when you see them. Your taste buds will thank you. From me to you great business that cares about its customers and food quality. ?“
“Pete’s is a great little pub, especially in contrast to most of the other options on Brady St. It’s definitely a sports bar (and a great place to catch early morning football matches or F1 races!), but without all the neon and cheesiness, and with unexpectedly great drink options. The food menu is full of great versions of popular pup foods, and the staff is always really friendly and good at what they do. You do have to order everything at the bar (vs. servers and table service) which can be a little cumbersome and hectic when the pub gets busy, but it’s not really something that takes away from the experience as a whole. Overall, highly recommend this place!“
“A local friend recommended a great lunch, and he nailed it! Street parking was easy, and it was a fun overall experience. I enjoyed their schtick of roasting peanuts and then forwarding them via their interior "drop zones," a series of tubes that deliver the peanuts to your table without a server attending to it. The cool interior includes replica bombs and cool artwork. Their stools are very cool, with unique bottoms. Our server was brand new, and she rocked it. The restaurant manager was friendly and helpful. I loved my Classic AJ Burger. It was tasty and well prepared, and adding bacon to a big burger was a good idea. I also enjoyed the tater tots.“
“I was completely blown away. HANDS DOWN....the best biscuits and gravy I've EVER had. I've worked in upscale restaurants and think of myself as a great cook. I've NEVER had them like this. my God. Food was a 10. service was a 10. Ambience was a 10. Thank you so much!!!“
“I meet with friends once a month to catch up with each other. This particular month we met at cudahy's pancake house. The food was awesome the service was fast and the prices are great. However, there's a person playing on a keyboard and singing. It was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation which is the whole purpose of our lunch. Apparently they have music every Saturday and Sunday.“
“Love this place- the food, the vibe, everything. Anytime Arepa is consistently amazing. The cocktails at the bar are good. This is a monthly summertime destination for us, but we still stop and pick up food to go in the colder months.Dietary restrictions: Anytime Arepa is a mostly gluten free truck. They have delicious vegetarian options as well. A few of the other trucks have vegetarian options as well.“
“awesome place, nice quiet neighborhood, quaint location. peaceful. the food was phenomenal best cajun (fries) anything i have had while being in any northern state. just wow. super awesome service and nice people. very enjoyable. burgers were huge, juicy delicious. ate a fred special and added bacon, because why not. shakes were so smooth and easy to consume while taking in the scenery and good saturday in milwaukee. spoke with the owner. easy going and nice guy. wonderful place. anytime im ever in milwaukee. im making it a priority to be there and grab any food these people make.. 5 stars cuz i cant give 6..“
“Went with friends of ours for a fish fry on 02/09/24. First time visiting. The beer-battered fish and baked fish were both great. Loved the potato pancakes as well. The highlight was the awesome server we had, Joey. He really made it an enjoyable experience and took great care of us that evening. Thanks for the extra olives, Joey! We'll be back.“
“This was my first time ordering from here on takeoutThe only thing I can say is wowFrom the friendly woman who took my order on the phoneTo the friendly delivery driverAnd as far as the foodI ordered from a lot of placesThe pizza was hugeAnd The Taste was excellentAlso very good pricesThis will be my number one place to order “
“Judy was great to work with. The staff was great, very nice and attentive. The food was incredible and our wedding guests loved it and said it was the best wedding food they've ever had (I agree!). My only complaint is regarding the leftovers. We were not informed that we had to arrange ahead of time to keep leftover food. The food was taken away without anyone asking if we wanted to keep it (we didn't notice it being taken away as my bride and I were very busy)..I was extremely disappointed because I know we had enough leftovers to enjoy for the week since a number of people didn't show up. I'll just have to stop into the restaurant to get my fix! I would give 4/5 stars. thanks for providing great food and amazing staff!“
“Easily the best chicken sandwich in the city, hands down! The date night Thursday deals is an insane value too.The farming equipment on the wall gives me pause sometimes but otherwise the vibe is always great, but get there early so you don't have to wait for your food!“
“Love this joint, wife loves this place, grreat food. The service was great and always has been. Wonderful place, wonderful food, wonderful people, Want a nice experience? come here, but don't mind the hipster douchebags. Get a beer and relax.“
“Mazos is a delicious classic style burger joint with great customer service and an awesome tasting burger. Delicious diner spot with limited seats available and always busy. I was lucky to stop in right before the lunch rush. They accept card, but please bring cash for service and tips. If you are looking for the best local burger that is old school, filling, and great price, this is your spot.“
“Came to this place with my wife after a Saturday afternoon shopping excursion and OMG!!! We had a waitress named Grace and she was magical, she noticed every table she was working and took care of all of us with the speed of a ninja all while making sure there was new silverware dried and wrapped! The menu is phenomenal the atmosphere is excellent and the service is A-1!!!“
“I am for the most part a vegetarian, but will flex and eat meat occasionally. I very rarely eat red meat, saving it for when you're at a place where you get the beef. This is one of those times. I had heard of butter burgers before and was thrilled to have the opportunity to eat one where they were invented. I arrived in the early afternoon on a Monday and there were only a couple other people there. The restaurant has an interesting layout with a curved counter in the center that is most of the seating (with some other tables on the side). I opted to sit at the counter so the server wouldn't have to go out of his way to get to me. I went basic: double butter burger with some fries on the side, opting for regular butter. My server was super friendly and walked me through everything, and I found the history of the burger and the restaurant on the menu interesting. The burger was great. The butter was SO creamy and the whole thing melted in my mouth. It was worth the flex! I also really enjoyed the fries: super crispy. I liked that I could watch my food being made in front of me. I'm glad I got to experience the real thing! Worth the stop when you're in town. It's clear they have a lot of love from locals and foodies alike.“
“Stopped in for lunch on a Monday and was surprised to see so many people here. It turns out a big tour group was here taking up two or three large tables. This place is plenty big so that was not an issue. Our waitress was super friendly. The menu is pretty typical for a place that caters to motorcycle fans - lots of barbecue and burgers. I ordered their special Guinness wings which were very good but very pricey (actually everything on the menu seemed pricey but that is apparently the case at many restaurants these days). My dad got the beef brisket sandwich which he like a lot. It was so big he took half home for dinner! Overall a good place with lunch near downtown that is easy to get to with lots of free parking. A good option even if not visiting the very good museum.“
“Date night.... On the way home we stopped for a bite. I had mushroom swiss burger, cheese curds, fries, soda and oh yum..a jr. sundae with blueberries. Bill had a burger with mushroom and fried onions, fries. soda, chicken soup and a jr. sundae with strawberries Everything was delicious. We left full. Bill isn't sure he will get the soup again but warmed him up on this first chilly weekend The employees were friendly. They got the order right and we didn't wait long. We will be sure to go again...often...“
“Been living in the Milwaukee area for almost 5 years and just came across this restaurant on Uber Eats, after looking at a few reviews, I Decided to try their Pasta. And let’s just say. They didn’t come to disappoint at all. I’m extremely pleased the flavor is there. The noodles in the cream sauce are so buttery and rich. Thank you.“
“They have about 30 to 40 different kinds of fish and shrimp! Check out their menu on their website. I had a Arapaima fish fry which was great. The atmosphere was electric and they had a lot of great music playing. They space was pretty roomy since they have 2 different bar areas.“
“Had a 6pm reservation, but even though it was packed, got us a table early. Cheese curds with ranch and jalapeño ranch were very good, creamy cheese, good taste. jalapeño ranch mild, not overwhelming. Had peartini, and peach pomegranate martini, also very good. All food came out quickly. 2 large Walleye, very moist and flakey, great taste. A little oily, but it's to be expected with thin batter. Fries were done well, with a touch of lemon, or lemon pepper maybe..good taste. Coleslaw also had a different flavoring that complimented the flavor. This is definitely a go to for fish fry going forward!!“
“ok. so we got food brought in to work. I got to lunch about an hour after it got there, no problem. the food was so good and such high quality, I didn't need to reheat it. that's right... ate it cold and it was still amazing! 5 Stars my friends, without a doubt.“
“Had to stop in since the one in chicago Is closed. And milwaukee did not disappoint fabulous food and fun. a couple of events at the other tables and the host really Had a great interaction with the crowd. At one point even inviting us to a wedding. The food was delicious. The pageantry was fabulous.I know I'll never get tired of Getting billed via shoe......Did I mention the endless mimosas? *hiccup*“
“Ordered a pepperoni & sausage $15 + One topping pepperoni at PROMO price $9 total $28 & the pizza was really good. I picked my order up much later than the time that i ordered it and even though the pizza was sitting awhile before i picked it up it tasted very good once i ate it at home & the customer service at pick up was amazing over the phone & in person in spite of my late arrival. My family & i will definitely be returning. Also i would like to mention my kids said the slushies are the best cause they dont melt fast!!!Kid-friendliness: Slushies , good selections, kid approved“
“I have been living near Brady Street for 12 years and have been waiting for a good burger joint. This isn't just a good burger, it's honestly one of the best burgers I've had! I feel like people must not know about their awesome burgers or they'd be way busier all the time. I want Saint Bibiana to stick around so be sure to give them a try! Our bartender was awesome, with great drinks and music! Really love what they've done with the place.“
“This was our first time here, and I absolutely fell in love with this place. We tried multiple things on the menu and everything was awesome. This bar has a great atmosphere, and the daytime bartender I got to spend my time with was the best Bartender I have come across in a long time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“
“Our group ordered a bunch of appetizers and wings and everything was fresh and delicious. They also had a huge selection of beers and ciders—even a tasty fruit sour beer (I love sour beers) that I’ve not seen before. Service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere was a super eclectic mix of people and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I would definitely come back to grab a bite, beer and watch a game.“
“Came here for a Badger Brat (which is on the online menu) only to find they don’t have them. Really, no brats in Wisconsin?? Placed our order. $18.71 what a great price to feed two! Do the survey from your receipt & get a free large fry on your next visit. What a great deal!“
“6 people. Service was fantastic! Burgers seemed like a frozen patty I could make at home. One person had the special was shown as wrap, which came as a sandwich. But was still very good. One had French toast she said was good. We'd go back again, but not getting a burger. May try breakfast.“
“Absolutely amazeballs! Hot fudge malt, Turtle sundae amd Pineapple shake were all very tasty. A very nostalgic location that's been there for almost 80 years....one of the OG frozen custard shops! Great sandwiches too and the fries are da bomb!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, wide doorway“
“I had an omelet that was very delicious. I had to add salt and pepper to the grits but it was ok. I has a side of chicken that was crispy but not seasoned and it didn't seem to be cleaned prior to cooking because there was so much fat under the breading. Other than that the food is reasonably priced. I would go back.“
“Top burger spot in Milwaukee. I had the crave burger with a small fry. Very flavorful, the bun was incredible, and the fries were crisp. Service was quick and great. The cafe has 3 tables with chairs inside and a patio. Definitely more of a carry out spot, but wouldn't mind staying to eat if I had a small party.“
