“We have been to Brandywine many times the past few years. We've taken friends there and we've always enjoyed our dinners. The last time we went we were surprised (and disappointed) to see some changes to their menu. First, they've taken the pork chop away. The menu is definitely focused on pastas and the pork chop was one of the few non-pasta dishes. But more surprising was the additional small add-ons with a cost. For example, if you want parmesan cheese on your pasta, it will cost an additional $1. Really? And if you order the focaccia (which is excellent) and you need a little more olive oil, that too will come with a small charge. Perhaps they have had bad experiences with people demanding excessive amounts of cheese or oil, but if that's the case, why not just increase the price of the entrees by a few cents to cover that cost of those who wish to have more. We will still go there, but we were just disappointed to see these changes.“

“This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit. The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“

“I’ve been coming to Java Dock for almost 15 years now. Coffee is phenomenal, food is phenomenal, staff is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I could not have anything better to say about this place. It’s near and dear to my heart.“
“Had great Fat Tuesday Specials this week. I had Cajun Pasta with Andouille Sausage and Blackened Chicken. Best I have eaten anywhere. My friends had the Shrimp Etouffee and the Jambalaya each saying their's was the best. Always great service and a good time when Scooter is behind the bar.“

“My lemon drop martini was disappointingwhich is upsetting when it's so expensive and not even topped off. It tasted like all lemon juice no vodka or simple syrup. Cheese curds could have a different plating so they don't come all stuck together in a greasy lump. Baked potato was underwhelming and seemed old. My prime rib was cooked perfectly just lacking in seasoning. The French onion soup was delicious.“
“It was a warm summer night, we needed supper, and Wiesler's deck with its colorful umbrellas was calling. We were there soon after they opened at 4 p.m. so we had our choice of tables. The menu is not huge, but it didn't need to be. My husband ordered the beer cheeseburger with a side of coleslaw and I had the turkey/bacon wrap with a side of applesauce. We were both very satisfied with our food. It turned out that the friendly and attentive waitress was the owner of the bar/restaurant for the past 35 years along with her husband. They must be doing something right. Good food combined with the historic building made it a great choice for us.“

“My husband I have lived in the area for many years and finally decided to try the Friday fish fry at the hotel restaurant. What an incredible surprise! What were we missing all these years. The food was wonderful with generous portions. But more important, the service and atmosphere were outstanding. Karen and Lawrence were the only ones handling all the dinner guests but you would never know it by their fantastic smiles and attitude. We actually felt like we were at home. Karen and Lawrence made us feel like family and delivered outstanding service despite the amount of customers there were. In fact, many of them were also engaged like it was one big family. I could on and we look forward to our next visit.“

“If you are in the Port Washington area, do yourself a favor and stop by this place. The food is delicious. They have a pretty decent variety of choices, including shawarma and falafel. The real draw here though is the custard. It’s smooth, creamy and delicious. They have daily flavors/specials that are always worth considering. A lot of the specials sauces are made in house and are phenomenal. Today’s orange and cranberry was a refreshing blend of sweet and tart.“

“They really have the casual, calm but interesting thing about the place. Love the cabin bar. Like the decor and low lighting. Perfect place after a hard day working. At contrasts the other restaurants in the area that make you feel less comfortable. Wondering how much they spent in the cabin bar. It quite a great replica“

“We went on a Friday night with 10 people knowing that they didn’t take reservations…but they seem to be very efficient with plenty of staff and we were seated pretty quickly! We were celebrating a birthday and it was so nice to not feel like you’re being rushed! Our waitress Jessica K was super attentive constantly grabbing drinks at the bar for us and very friendly! Everyone’s food was delicious and very large sandwiches! Would definitely recommend “The Stillery”-Grafton!!“
