this our go-to for mexican. you know it's authentic when the staff speaks limited english and tons of local hispanics go here.Admittedly, we order the bistec a la mexicana every single time. it's fabulous. so the 5 stars might be a bit generous, but guests we've brought loved it too. this restaurant is in the heart of milwaukee's '5th ward,' so there are tons of mexican restaurants in the area, but this one is totally authentic and great. service usually very good, but sometimes...read full review

Great little place to stop and eat, was recommended by a friend who I had lunch here with, she comes often enough that the staff remembers her. The food was delicious and had great portions! The price point is great and most importantly the staff is super

The margs were a bit 10/10! Strawberry marg was for sure my favorite. 2 margs and we were having a good time! The rainbow margarita was delicious, strawberry was definitely the best, lime coming in a close second!
