“Oh my! I went to Taste Amir’s for lunch and had their nasi lemak (coconut rice topped with fried chicken, egg, crispy anchovy, sambal 🌶️ & cucumber) and roti with curry sauce — this brought me back to Malaysia — tho it’s not Indonesian dish (that I’ve been craving, this is pretty darn close). It did not disappoint!! I highly recommend trying this food truck for anyone who simply wants great food that brings you comfort & different than anything offered in the city. I’ll be back soon to try other dishes 😋“

“Cute and clean place, delicious food (especially the salsa, rice and beans and chicken tacos - Mexican style!) kind staff. Can’t ask for more than that! We will be back. The kids love the Disney Coco posters.
Dietary restrictions: Staff were great about checking to make sure some dishes were made with corn and not wheat tortillas.“

“The truck was at the Wisconsin Avenue night market. I got Italian Beef, Buffalo Chicken sandwich and fried okra for the family. Everything was great. Will be looking for the truck again to try the slaw dogs and chicken sliders“

“Really delicious and beautiful food. Each of the entrees is uniquely amazing for its creative preparation and combination of flavors. The cheese curds,burrata, octopus and royal eggs provide a wonderful introduction to what turns out to be a very special culinary event. House made desserts like the triple chocolate cake and crème brûlée are excellent. We have tried almost everything on the menu and are always extremely satisfied with the entire experience.“

“Highly recommend! We were on vacation and stopped here right after dinner on Brady Street. While eating dinner next door, I kept eyeing the posters of their boozy slushies and I couldn't resist! The woman who served me I think was the owner. She was very warm, friendly, and so helpful in recommending what cocktail would best suit my preferences. It was delicious! Always happy to support a black-owned, woman-owned business. ❤️“

“The food Fresh to order and the service is amazing and from what I have seen this is one best restaurant's I have eaten before. Each time I order food from here, the staff is very quick when it come's to cooking the food, and you can see it in action when they cook food. For example, when I ordered the cheeseburger, you could hear it sizzle and see the patty get grilled. And when I order in the morning I see that all the employees prepare the meats and veggies fresh at the day. Additionally, the prices are reasonable for what you order since most of the prices for authentic mexican food are high and here the prices are reasonable and they give big portions. Also, the owners and staff are friendly and have great customer service . I would recommend this restaurant if you like fresh and hot food ready to order ? Best restaurants in mke! ??“

“I’ve picked up at both of their food trucks while delivering for Door Dash so I wanted to finally try it. The wife and I thought everything was great. The ground beef burrito, ground beef soft corn taco and chicken tostada were tasty along with the Mexican street corn. The rice and beans were basic but were hot and fresh.Food was ready on time and the staff was friendly today as they have always been when I picked up for Door Dash. We will definitely be eating here again.“

“Outstanding Mexican food! Highly recommend! I’m from San Antonio & very picky about my Mexican food! The salsa was spicy and on point! I requested salsa verde. It was very good, as well. (I’ve never had it served hot though!) My chicken Diablo was good, and hubby enjoyed his chicken enchiladas. Good stuff!“

They season their fries with cardamom (I think?) so just be aware if you order them. The cheese sauce was terrific—seems like the same cheese sauce they use at Taco Moto which I believe are the same owners of this place.It’s a good place for a quick bite while you’re drinking. If you’re a fan of Taco Moto you’ll want to check this place out!“

“hands down the best mexican food i’ve had. i haven’t tried anything like it. their rice is phenomenal with flavor & not dry! their tacos have a great flavor as well & very filling. they serve you big portions that you can’t beat for the price! definitely one of my favorite spots to go now. i thought i liked mexican food before well this taco truck put a whole new meaning to delicious food in my life. 🙌 i crave it all the time now & it’s so place to my house! highly recommend trying if you haven’t. i honestly think about it all the time. lmao. but so serious. it’s mouthwatering. the bad reviews on here are bogus. i don’t know how this truck doesn’t have ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s. don’t miss out!“
