What a delightful Mom & Pop old-school Italian place. The pizza was out of this world good. I think we all had a moment. The friend eggplant and salad were solid choices as well. Good, friendly service.
We went to zaffiro's to check out their thin crust pizza after seeing it on a list of top things to try in Milwaukee. Parking was a little tricky at first. We parked on the side of the building at first, but then we saw a sign that said "park at your own risk". Turns out the only parking for the restaurant is directly behind the building, every where else you will get a ticket. Once we got it the staff was super accommodating. Somehow I haven't been inside the original Zaffiro's in years. I love being able to get it at the movies, but I've been annoyed that I'm not in their delivery zone. Nothing has changed in the interior - possibly ever. This is a straight up old school Wisconsin tavern with a small dining room on the side. Service was very friendly.
