“I love this place! We had a group of 10. They were quite busy (as usual) For a Monday Night. Menu has actually Dinners. Not just Bar and Grill food like most places in town these days. “We’ve been here several times over the years and they’ve expanded beautifully.
Stopped in with a group of eight Sunday afternoon, we were fortunate to get a nice long pub style table outside. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant, boats coming in and out, lots of upper, lower and private dining areas.
Staff were very friendly & great energy.

Olivia A and trainee were our servers, they both did perfect, knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat energy and did very well dealing with a larger group.
Kitchen service was outstanding, food tasted great and speed was good.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manila Resto in Oshkosh, and I must say, it was an amazing experience! We arrived around 6:30 PM, and the place was bustling with activity, which is always a good sign. However, we did wait about 45 minutes for our starters. What really impressed me, though, was the exceptional hospitality. The manager noticed our wait and personally apologized, offering us complimentary dessert as a gesture of goodwill. We were treated to two pieces of Maja and four pieces of Turon, which were both delicious! To top it off, the owner came over to express his gratitude for our patience and to apologize for the delay. It’s rare to find such attentive service these days. Overall, the combination of great food and outstanding hospitality made our visit truly memorable. I highly recommend Manila Resto to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!”

This restaurant has a boating atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. Come by boat and dock at the riverfront or by car. It's open year round to experience the best of all seasons eating by the riverfront. Expect a busy boating atmosphere season, during high peak summer hours and summer holiday times.

Excellent food made to order. Come in hungry, leaving happy and your stomach full carrying leftovers home. For the adults, wet your whistle at the bar with available on the tap beers and a variety hard liquor choices to choose from. There are a variety of Pepsi products as an option too.

The staff are friendly, warm and inviting. Clean dining room and restrooms. The decorations of a boating atmosphere is lightly eye pleasing, not overwhelming; something to look at be curious.

This place is kid friendly, has ADA accessibility, and has outdoor seating. You can watch the boats pass by on the river sitting inside or outside when the weather is nice.

An expected cost of food per person is affordable.

Overall, I recommend this place. Giving this location a five star all around; food service and atmosphere.

Come check this restaurant out if traveling on the Fox River by boat during the summer season; dock your boat and walk in. Or by car any of the four seasons.”

“I would love to leave a review for this amazing restaurant, La Baja. My family and I stopped here after the Oshkosh Farmers Market before getting back on the road to Milwaukee, and we’re so glad we did! The food was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Soren was amazing—very attentive, personable, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed and really added to the experience. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by!”

He and his daughter took great care of us, they helped with everything from the minute we walked in. We knew this place was special and today just took it to another level. “We had a really large group of family members (about 20 people total including adults & kids) to celebrate my dad's 89th Birthday on Wed Nov 20th, 2024. We had a reservation for 5pm & when we arrived, they had our table all setup & ready for us. Our Waitress (Amelia) was at our table immediately with a big smile & a very warm & friendly welcome. Our Waitress (Amelia) was an absolutely FANTASTIC Waitress, one of the best that we've dealt with in many years! As we were all getting settled in, we had a few surprise visitors that joined my dad's birthday celebration. Our waitress (Amelia) was right on top of everything & she immediately added another table to make sure that everyone was comfortable while eating their meal & didn't feel like you were being crammed in like sardines while eating. In addition to that, Amelia went out of her way to accommodate my dad by making sure that he felt extra "special" while celebrating this 89th Birthday of his. She got him a "special" cocktail (yes, a bit of a boozy one, which he really liked) in addition to a Root Beer Float to enjoy after he had enjoyed his Birthday meal. I was watching my dad with that Root Beer Float & he was thoroughly enjoying that! All the adults in our group ended up getting the All You Can Eat Fish Fry for $9.99 per person (or maybe it was even less than that, I'm not sure, because someone in our group paid for everyone's meal!). OMG it was absolutely amazing ~ everything was very FRESH & HOT. The Seasoned French Fries were delicious, and the Tatter Tots were the bomb! We had the BEST TIME EVER thanks to our amazing Waitress (Amelia) who went out of her way to make sure that EVERYONE in our group was taken care of. She was so much fun; she has a great sense of humor, and she fit right in with our "wild n crazy" family! By the time we left that evening we were saying that our Waitress (Amelia) was "Our Sister from another Mister" & we asked her if she was going to join all of us for Thanksgiving!! Thanks again for making my dad's 89th Birthday so "special" for him. I think he felt like a BIRTHDAY KING for the night!!”

“Do not skip Pilor’s if you are in the Oshkosh area! We all had breakfast and they offered a wide array of options for food and coffee. We had the breakfast bowl special, veggie frittata, lattes and a matcha tea. Each dish came with incredible potatoes and a starter fruit option. The service was friendly and the food came out fairly quick. We enjoyed breakfast on the restaurants outdoor patio. Would definitely go back!”

“I have never had Mediterranean or Persian specific foods so I do not have anything previous to compare this food to. The food is so full of flavor. The chicken kabob has been our favorite. The rice is cooked perfectly. The other things I ordered have very specific flavors that you must like to enjoy the foods. The beef/lamb kabob was good. The frittata is.. WOW. The smells of the herbs in the frittata is exactly how it tastes. For me specifically it was too much but try it for yourself!!”

“This is 100% for the baristas today… the lobby was closed for whatever reason I’m sure wasn’t their fault and everyone had to go through the drive through. I have never seen a Starbucks line move so quickly as soon as I got to the window I made sure to tell them that they were doing a good job and that that line was really moving. I was actually really impressed at how fast it was moving. I never go to the drive-through because it always keeps master going to the lobby, so I was very unsure about using the drive-through. And the drive-through thing goes for any location I’ve ever been and even in other countries. Good job today northside Starbucks”

The employees were very friendly and helpful as they answered all of my questions before I ordered. The only reason that Five Guys is not getting five stars from me is that all of the tables/chairs in the seating area needed to be wiped down. They were not filthy dirty, but there were water puddles from previous eaters' drinks and napkins left on the tables.”
