“Great service. Seriously no complaints whatsoever about the staff. It’s the Midwest after all. The food and the prices for the quality of what you get it my big issue. Hard and cold fries, I’m sure I could have asked for some new ones, but they were just Ortega waffle fries so it wouldn’t have done any good. The burger was ok. The blue cheese burger needs some kind of binding sauce. The bun was chewy. Drinks were cheap, but we didn’t know until the bill came since the prices aren’t on the menu.“
“Good burgers, nice menu options, and fun bar, very nice patio area for the summer! Fire tables for when cooler, not open past 7pm, probably a staffing thing.Parking: Shared with hotel.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator in hotel to get to restaurant“
“My boyfriend and I go there for our anniversary every year and whenever we want to go out. We absolutely love it their! Food is great! The service is good, really nice people. It's a rough group but still child friendly and I haven't seen anyone get drunk or crazy there. They have a pool table and dark board whitch is fun! Always love going there.“
“Silver Dollar is everything you could ever want in a good old style river saloon. Beer, booze, burger grill, bar food, super frosty glasses, games, country music, dancing, and great hospitality. Friendly to upstanding cowboys, horsemen, bikers, and especially dancers of all stripes. Their claim to the best burger in town is hard to argue with. Give this one 5-stars for feel good fun and a great owner!!!!“
“1st time visit here. We tried Lunch and dinner. Brisket sandwich, burger, nacho plater, all very good for lunch!!!! Fries and ketchup could be much better. Server was awesome. Dinner we had boasted chicken and fried shrimp. Once again all very good except for the sides. Fries still could be better, slaw ok, no baked potato or side salads. Overall a very good and cool place! Server makes the best bloody mary and pickles I've ever had!“
“We are in town for our 25th wedding anniversary and noticed this place down by the river after dinner in town. Very cool place with a lot of history. Wish I'd known it was there sooner because we would have had dinner there. The lady served us( who also the owner) was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the place and surrounding buildings. Definitely worth the stop, will be back! Also prices are very reasonable especially for these times.“
