“Cozy, delicious and lots of options! I love the desserts. I myself am not gluten free but i love that they always have lots of gluten free bakery options for those that are and they are so yummy! The cinnamon latte is my favorite!”
“We dined at Chances on a Saturday night in March 2024. . Lots of local townspeople having a good time in bar area. I am all for that type of atmosphere. However, if your face is not familiar, the bartenders tend to ignore you. There were two mature guys on duty behind the bar and if you did not specifically call out or gesture for a cocktail, they simply stood there. Grumpy as all get out. Two delightful elderly females (not familiar faces) tried to get a bartender's attention to ask about the gambling games in the room, but were very disrespectfully ignored. We'll write this off as both fellas having a bad night. Dining room was about half full. Got seated at a very small table for two against the wall...maybe a former window table, but no window anymore. Very cramped with all the extra stuff already on the table. Didn't want to be a pain in the ***, so we didn't request a nicer table. Good news...ribs and shrimp combo and prime rib special were delicious. Spinach salad and onion strings also very tasty. Extremely busy waitress took care of us skillfully, attentively, and with the most pleasant demeanor. So our occasional date night had a happy ending following a not so great start.”
“Blackbird Bakery made the cake and cupcakes for our wedding. Both the cake and cupcakes were delicious and reasonably priced! Abby was incredibly easy to work with and communicated very well with us. We highly recommend Blackbird Bakery for any dessert needs!”
“Honestly the only place I'll go to eat in Muskego/wind lake area! I've never had a bad experience there unlike literally everywhere else I've gone in Muskego! Everything else in that area SUCKS. These guys are always solid. Never let me down!”
“Cute local shop offering candy, homemade popcorn and Cedar Crest ice cream. It is very nicely decorated and clean, and the staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable. Although a sign states the popcorn is made fresh daily, the bag we purchased was dated 2 weeks ago. We purchased caramel popcorn and ice cream comes, and it was all good. It was a very pleasant experience.”
“I grew up in Burlington and have been coming here since I was a child. I took my fiance here to try it and he loved it as much as I do. They are closed in winter which sucks (but makes total sense). The custard is amazing and the prices are still reasonable. Every time I come here (which isn't as much as I'd like) I am reminded of my childhood and how it felt coming here with my parents and friends when I was older. The people there are friendly even though most of them are teens working but they work hard and are appreciated for sure! There is a SMALL area to sit inside and eat but I usually take my order to go and eat in the car or at the park across the street if it's nice enough out. I hope this place stays around for many many more years so I can bring my son and future children here. And maybe their children too?? (Hopefully).”
“Whenever I am craving barbecue this is exactly what I want. Food is very good, Jacob and his wife are very very friendly. They is the time of family owned restaurant that deserves a tip every time you come in!”
“I've been here 3 times and the place has not disappointed at all. I got Monday's $7 build your own grilled cheese and it was the bomb! The $7 comes with choice of cheese (up to 3 slices) a dipping sauce and a choice of homemade chips or French fries. I got 2 slices of American and 1 slice of cheddar with spicy mayo dipping sauce. I upgraded my sandwich with grilled onions $.50 extra and bacon $1.50 extra and upgraded for $2 more for the sweet potato fries. For a total of $11! It was worth every penny ?”
“Very unique place to go to. It is owned by military vets that are retired. So the inside is set up military still. With many things to see from past wars. The food is good and get plenty to eat for the price. Would highly recommend going to see and get some food. IT IS CASH ONLY if you go.Wheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp to get inside”
“I was in Burlington for work reasons and tried Sheila Mae's for breakfast. They have an excellent menu with lots of reasonably priced options. I had the "Burly Breakfast" consisting of two eggs, three pancakes, bacon, toast, and coffee. It was very good. The restaurant is small, with a cozy atmosphere. You seat yourself, and if you need the restroom you have to walk down a flight of stairs. Not very handicap accessible. Wait staff was very competent.Overall a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. If they are crying or yelling you will notice it as the place is fairly small and loud sounds fill the space.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.”
“The Friday fish fry was delicious. Some of our group had cod, I had the bluegill. All the food came out hot and crispy, plus the potato pancakes were good too. I'll be back to try the Italian beef special on Thursday. We did have to wait at the bar for a table but it was well worth the wait.”
“I attended BINGO with my mom and my son and had never been to this establishment before. It is a very nice, clean space. We ordered food and drinks and everything was delicious! We will be back for sure!”
“I've never had eaten there so I can't comment. Great coffee and service. The atmosphere is very welcoming, it's a great setup and plenty of seating.”
“My first time there with two of my friends while road tripping on our bike's and I have to say it was a great experience. We were able to pull our bike's right off the road and park right in front. My first impression was this place looked like an old western salon! The layout is crazy cool. Once inside the atmosphere was even better. This place is a great rest stop for any bikers out road tripping. You won't be disappointed. Oh and by the way the name of the bar it's self is worth checking out.”
“Awesome staff! Love the people working here - they were so nice and helpful with everything.Loved the beer - hazy IPA is so good. Double IPA was a bit sweet according to hubby, but he wasn’t complaining. We had a private party so I can’t comment on food, but it didn’t look like they had any.Renting the place for a private party was very nice and everything ran super smoothly. So much fun, and I will definitely go back for their IPA, even though they’re 50 minutes away… that’s saying a lot.”
“Love this place! The turtle sundae is a favorite and waffle cones are made fresh. Go for the full experience and have a burger, homemade fries, and the best grape soda at their stand next door. Yum!”
“They never disappoint. The grilled volcano chicken is amazing and the Singapore noodle is better than most I have had. Blows my mind that it is from a Thai restaurant in rural Wisconsin.”
“Awesome pizza. It might be a disadvantage that they are only 3 miles down the road. Pizza is great and service is always exceptional! Specials are great any day of the week!”
“This place was so relaxing and comforting, It was so nice to sit in a quiet place and draw while enjoy a wonderful latte. The rice crispy treats and the brownies are absolutely delicious, I can't wait to try all the other treats in their case As well as some of the other things you're doing except they carry. I enjoyed the Handsome Irishman Latte, which was this month specialty latte. I think it's awesome that they do different seasonal drinks.”
“The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful if you want help deciding what to drink. My group tried a sweet wine flight, martini, and spicy sangria. There are also some food options, although we did not try them this time around.”
“I've only been a handful of times, but it's always an extremely pleasant one when I go. Food is great and fresh, drinks are delicious and they are very accommodating. Such a cute place with lovely staff.”
“Very poor bartender. We got there at 4 pm last Friday. The bartender seen us and ignored us for about 20 minutes. We were there 3 hours and me and my wife each only go 3 drinks each. But we weren't the only ones who waited for a long time. We will try 1 more time because the food was good. If we wait 20 or more minutes for a drink we will never go back.”
“great place good food we came into town hungry the cook was still around and made us a pizza after the kitchen was closed for a couple hrs..the bartender is a sweet lady the customers we met were nice.stop in get a drink and some food”
“We visit Burlington often and have NEVER been. It's a really cute venue/atmosphere. I had the Espresso Martini, it was exactly what I hoped for! So good. Sounds like there are rooms available to rent as well. Would love to come back and visit again in the future. Highly recommend!”
“Second visit eating at Genoa's, had the lunch special before 3:00 this time, 8" pizza w/ up to 5 toppings, choice of sides, great salad or fantastic garlic bread w/ marinara sauce on the side. My wife and I definitely didn't walk away hungry. Highly recommend this Italian Restaurant.”
“Great service to accommodate the amazing food we had. Owners/management on site and very friendly. They were checking in with all the tables and very accommodating to the patrons. Looking forward to trying more of the menu! Mushroom Swiss was the best I have had in quite sometime! Kid friendly dining room with a lounge/bar up front.”
“Yes!!!!! A pizza buffet and I am here for it! Amazing selections. Great quality! Awesome service! What you may not be aware of, you can tell them at the counter what type of crazy pizza you want made. They give you a buzzer and call you up when it's ready. They give you first dios and then add it to the array or other pizzas on the buffet. Dessert pizza! Salad, pasta, chicken....breadsticks...soup! I mean c'mon! This place is the cat's meow of buffets! All super fresh and hot! Service has always been top notch. Clean! Inviting and filling!”
“Stopped last night for food, first time visit. Amanda was the best great service, and so many options for wings, dusted fries , and sandwiches, along with a big menu. Will definitely make this place a regular stop really great food, decent price and service was above and beyond great...”
“Went to see Lunch money bullies and it was a lot of fun. Could have been cooler up by the band when we went to dance though. Bartenders were busy however none of them were when I went to get a drink and I stood with my money out for a while until the lady next to me had to yell to get their attention.”

“We just discovered Scungillis's as it's a bit off the beaten path. We have tried multiple sandwiches, soups, stromboli, and desserts. Everything we tried has been amazing. It's great quality and large servings. This is my favorite lunch spot now. They have a catering menu too which looks awesome. We plan on ordering from it in the future. We are lucky to such a gem in the area.”
