“Ordered the 14" cheese pizza with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. When it arrived I was in disbelief, this thing was not 14", it was closer to 16! The thin crispy crust and pizza sauce they use made this the best pizza I have ever had. I ate the whole thing with 2 pints of spotted cow, which made a great combination. As a first time customer, if I'm ever back in the area I will be visiting again.“
“I want to say I was very welcomed in, the staff were amazing once they weren’t so hectic with all the guests and reservations they had for a Saturday/St Patrick’s day. Very wonderful family atmosphere. I didn’t have any food, and the drink selection was amazing. The axe throwing is a must, especially if you were like me and haven’t thrown an axe before. Staff trained well on safety and guidelines. I even had gotten to meet one of the owners; she was amazing, friendly, plus willing to help in anyway that she could. Definitely will be back again!!! Also make sure you call in for axe throwing reservations. My friend and I were lucky to get a half hour session in last minute. They do fill up fast!!!“
“I've been eating here since they opened in 2000. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. First getting to know Scott and talking food with him sometimes over a drink at the bar, and then seeing his daughter Cory take over the reins... great people and glad to see the next generation doing the same great stuff. Even bought a few custom knives from a bladesmith Scott recommended.“
“Had the meatloaf dinner. The menu online advertised it as being made with bacon and cheese curds. While it didn't have either, it was still good - just not expected. I'm not sure if the menu I saw online was old, or what. Was served with mashed potatoes and maple glazed carrots. Overall, very good. Bar atmosphere was nice with an old-time bar aesthetic. I'll definitely try the food again.“
“Fries were good. Burger was flavorful and kind of cooked right. If your chef can't do medium and other variations then pink or no pink. Also if the burger says it comes with a topping then more than one or two (ie onion straws). “I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bar!!!! Duke's was the highlight of our trip to Kenosha from Florida. They have great liquor and beer selections, games, plenty of tv's AND attentive, knowledgeable bartenders! The best part....the special's shelf. I'm not sure if it's an all the time thing or just when we were there but we tried amazing bottles of close out shots at a deeply discounted rate. I hardly remember that it was -6 degrees while we were there.“
“My husband and I went to Vero last night to celebrate our anniversary, and it's the first time we've gone back since they reopened. I love the changes they've made with a focus on small, shareable plates which is one of my favorite ways to dine. The food was outstanding, and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. “We found this place yesterday on our way to The Goodwill Outlet. What an awesome place! Everyone was so welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. We all ordered the fish fry ( cod) and it was perfectly cooked. It had that good crunch when you bite into it. Also, for your side get the cheesy tater tots. The prices were great too. “This is the 3rd time I have gone here & I am more upset with myself that I don't go here more often. The food is amazing & the atmosphere is great. I can see why it wins best fish fry in Racine County. Came in with my girlfriend for a Lentil Fish Fry & it definitely did not disappoint at all. Wait was 30-40min but I entered expecting that. Found a spot at the bar for the final 25min of the wait. Ordered the Calimari for an appetizer. Very good & you could tell it wasn't some fake Calimari bc it looked like a real octopus. Tasted great. Got the bluegill with sand dollar potato chips. Absolutely phenomenal all Around. 4 great sized pieces. Perfectly crispy & not too battered. Rarely do I ever take home leftovers but only finished 2 of the 4 pieces & half of the Calimari. So had an amazing lunch on Saturday. Girlfriend got the perch & also came with 4 great sized pieces. “We have been going to Mario’s for years. The food is kind of hit or miss, you have to know what to order. The Pizza Bomber is a great sandwich and I have never been disappointed with that, their Saturday night rib special used to be my favorite, I’m sad they got rid of that. Their Italian food is good too. Their prices are fair I will say that, this is mainly the reason we keep coming back. The waitress is kind of abrasive (if you know what I mean) she comes off rude but she can be friendly if you get to know her. If you have a party larger than 4 don’t expect them to move the tables for you. You will be doing the moving. The main reason for my low service rating is because the food took forever. We were there on a Sunday night (after 7pm) there was hardly anyone eating there. Of course the bar was full (hence great atmosphere) but I believe we were one of a few tables occupied. We waited over an hour for 2 burgers, a salad, and an order of stuffed shells. I think these are relatively easy dishes to make and there’s no reason it should have taken that long. There was also a group that came in and got served much quicker than we did, almost like there was some preference there. Put it this way, it will be a while before we come back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly unless you go when the bar is not busy. The bar tends to get rowdy.“

We started off with the best fried mushrooms we have ever eaten. I can’t believe we ate all of them. For our entrees, my wife had the Poor Man’s Lobster with potato pancakes and I had the biggest piece of Walleye Pike I have ever seen… with a baked potato. Everything was delicious! Yum! Perfectly balanced with sunlight, plants and lounge atmosphere. The drinks were fairly priced and the charcuterie board is worth every penny. “First time going here. We met someone at WI State Fair that told us about the great food here, so me & my friend came last night & were definitely not disappointed!! Food was so good & the portions were so big, have leftovers for 2 more meals. Service was great too!! I had the lasagna, my friend had Chicken Parmesan & we both loved the food.
