“1st time here to eat, usually here to drink…. The munchie basket, “combo basket” whatever it’s called was excellent, lots of food and great mix. We had Pizza for the main course . I was very impressed, great pizza, only problem I was so full after the basket I couldn’t eat as much as I wanted to! Excellent crust and fresh veggies, I was very surprised for a bar pizza! Will definitely go back! I’ve been trying to work out a wing night there with the guys, and I am looking forward to going back soon!“
“The Irish Cottage has always been a decent place for a few beers or cocktails in my opinon. It was remodeled not too many years back. They opened it up and built a larger bar area which works well for the patrons and staff. They somehow modernized and streamlined the building and still kept the small-town/ comfortable feel. St. Patty's Day has always been a treat there. ☺“
“I love this place, there's always something going on and it's such a unique experience for Franklin. Some days you can go up to watch a baseball game while having some beers (there's a waterfall feature and a fire pit on top as well)! In addition, there's a coffee shop nearby and a pizzeria that has brick ovens! The views on top by the bar are also awesome and it's a clean, well-kept place with great "hometown" customer service. They seem to be adding additional attractions and I think that's a good sign!Parking: Big parking lots!“
“Iron Mikes is a classic "corner" bar, the sort Wisconsin is known for. A small privately owned place that has a cast of locals that come frequently and is welcoming for newcomers too. There's no corporate polish or image created by a marketing team, it is just a reflection of the owners. It's small but fun, simple but clean, they have great bartender and fair prices, and they have live music surprisingly often. If you are looking for a fun place to hang out and have a beer with old friends or to meet some new ones, stop in at Iron Mikes!“
“Long wait for the fish fry even after opening! Fish was good, but had a bone. Would definitely go back again though! Worth the wait. Not much of a bar area to wait around in. Was standing area only. Coleslaw and pancakes were really good as well!Parking: Had to park in church lot across the street.“
