“I was recently on a first date at The Rock, as this young man said y'all had the best and biggest chicken wings he'd ever had and I knew regardless of if this date was a bust or not - I needed to find out for myself about these wings.Within a few moments of meeting it was obvious we were not aligned or compatible as human beings but to be respectful and to complete my research on these wings I decided to tough it out and go through with the date. It was kinda slower and I didn't want there to be any implication of privacy or romance, so we sat at the bar. Let me tell you, grateful doesn't even begin to describe it.This young man proceeded to spend the remainder of our date spoke of nothing but his day to day work life as if I were someone who was so actively in his life I would have any idea what he was even talking about. Any chance of subject change got rerouted to his topic of choice, even to the point of describing his "humility and lack of ego" like it wasn't his ego that was delivering such a sermon. It was after his third "I'm a really nice guy..." I knew I needed an ally to find reprieve in conversation and found the bartender's name was Allie. What I'd like to describe as me nonchalantly getting her attention and signaling for a wingwoman was more likely an awkward flail and desperate cry for help - and help she DID.The following 48 minutes of this train wreck of a date came with the silver lining of enjoying my perfectly seasoned, massive, garlic parm wings between belly laughs as Allie served this young man his misogynistic beliefs right back to him. The wings were really good and definitely some of the biggest I've ever had, but it was her quick wit, incredible customer service, and all around cutie patootieness that made the experience a great one; I will absolutely be back (and without that loser) because of it.Every bar needs an Allie.<3“
“Decent burgers, but overpriced. With a draft beer, you'll be paying well over $20.00 with tax and, of course, tip.Today, 3/22/24, I had the blue cheese burger. I wasn't impressed. The burger had no detectable flavor, and outside of a few blue cheese crumbles, it almost seemed like blue cheese salad dressing w 2 strips of bacon, and I'm guessing flat top grill. But, I will say the smoked chicken wings with Gochujang Sauce were Awesome!! Great flavor, and a little spicy just a tad expensive. The dining partner tonight had the fish sandwich with their homemade chips, which was awesome as well.“
“We had 7 in our group and service was good. The place was getting busy - Sunday at lunchtime. Burgers were excellent! We ordered a couple different cheese burgers and 2 ordered the beyond burger. We also had different options for fries and the Chips & Guac were great. The grilled cheese for the little one was good too! We’ll be back when we’re in town!Vegetarian options: Some options - Beyond BurgerKid-friendliness: They had a kids menu and crayons with a coloring placemat.“
“I personally had a wonderful experience planning working with Momo's when we had our Lunar New Year on 02/13/24. They exceed expectations from the food that they provided, space, and decorations. I would love to plan another event there in the future. If you're looking for a venue to have your next event, with a centralized location, give them a call.“
“Went at midnight to celebrate (like a daughter) turning 21. Had a blast!!! Bartender was nice, talked to the owner & he was nice & the other customers were nice. 90% of them came right over to us & bought us drinks & shots & wished her a Happy Birthday & hung around & talked with us. Nice neighborhood bar with pool tables, dart boards & a great jukebox. They also serve food. Did not try it but the menu looked good. They have a good size bar & plenty of tables & parking. Owner may put in a outdoor patio in the future I learned when we were chatting. We will visit again. ?“
“Stopped after a game in hopes to find a little less crowded place vs. the bars near the Kohl center, good choice! Has that dive bar vibe, loved it! The service was great and the crowd was friendly. The food looked great but we didn't eat this time. They cook everything in the open right behind the bar. Decent amount of TV's for game watching, pool table, darts, gambling machines and a couple other bar games throughout. Would definitely stop again when in town:“
“If you love sports and have kids, this is a great place to eat and have the kids entertained. They have a basketball gym I believe is for booking, so lots for the kids to do. Food is great and beer selection is nice as well. Service is always on point and the radio always has good music playing. Never too loud or too low. Always the biggest hits.“
“Stop here after reading that they were voted one of the top 3 fish Fry's in Madison and it did not disappoint me. Fish was outstanding. Excellent beer battered and flavorful and nice crispy waffle fries. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend and definitely #1 fish fry in Madison.“
“Stopped in tonight before 5pm...very busy, The bartender was friendly, but probably a bit overwhelmed. She didn't seem to be too bothered, however, and continued serving drinks. We didn't get food on this visit (short on time). From past visits I know you'll have to wait a bit for food. Food is traditional bar food....burgers, pizza, fried yum. The burgers are tasty.“
“Grew up bowling here and over 30 years later it still has that nostalgic feel with newer amenities. Laser tag and arcade games. Really a nice bowling alley. Good food. Good drinks. Good lanes. Hard to find a flaw as a reason to avoid. Sun Prairie is lucky to have a bowling alley like this.“
