“My husband and I had a great dinner here last night. Wonderful service and a great meal. We started with a drink at the bar and then were seated in the dining room for dinner. Very nice atmosphere all around. Myhusband got the ribs, and I had the chicken cordon bleu. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend this place and we will be returning.”

“We were looking for somewhere to have Sunday breakfast and we referred to Lisa’s pub and grub. We had their southwestern omelette and bloody Mary’s food was awesome. If you’re looking for great food go to Lisa’s pub and grub. They have weekly specials also tacos sloppy Joe’s just to name a few. We also had a great conversation with Lisa and Sam.”

“Holly's is a great place to stop for a great burger and fries or a good ice cold beer! And when it comes time for the Tomahawk Fall Rally, there's no other place you want to stay!! 3 nights of live music, food trucks, vendors, and the best of all a great time!!”

“Wonderful campground. The sites are beautiful and spacious. The bar is great. Food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch. We visited in late fall, so didn't really get the full experience with the pool and other amenities. But would definitely go back again. Great location too.”

“Great old dive! You can buy rubbers next to the bathroom. Cave like setting, but the food and the specials make this place great! Anything you can imagine to drink they have it. They are just off the lake (Lake Alice) behind Pine Point Resort. Stop in for the ambience and great food. eat outdoors.”

“if you are looking for a low-key, dice bar and friendly people this is the bar!!! the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because they do not except cards, and sometimes do not carry the drinks you want. Other than that good bar to check out when you are in Tomahawk!”

“What a wonderful surprise to have this delicious Thai food in Tomahawk!!! In an area with mostly basic American food & similar menu offerings (eggs/cheese/meats/fried/unhealthy menus - diners, bar food, fast food), it was such a breath of fresh air to find! The food is fresh, flavorful & they have healthy/vegetarian friendly options (woot!). Last 2 years when we visit family up north, it is one of the food highlights of our trip.”

“Best bar in downtown Tomahawk! Nice cold beer and Diane and Larry are the best. Played darts and music and had a great time!!! Perfect Northwoods atmosphere. Definitely stop in here after shopping for souvenirs etc.”

“There’s something for everyone anytime of year here. My partner and I had a great dinner here on a snowy Saturday night. I ordered a bowl of their homemade soup to start. The soup of the day was chicken dumpling, my favorite! He had a patty melt which looked great and he finished all of it! I also ordered the cherry bomb shrimp and a side salad which made for a perfect light dinner, all while looking out the window to a view of lake nokomis and one of this years first snow falls. The perfect November view. We browsed the extensive winter drink menu also and overall had a great visit. We will be back again soon.”

“All you can eat shrimp special and plenty to eat with 1 basket. Tasty food, great service. Drinks were on table as soon as our group arrived.The things missing, otherwise 5 stars, 1. Billy Bob, and 2. Bar pizza as an appetizer choice.Bonus was the Diet Mountain Dew drink options, which is never an option in some other parts of the US when asked if you want a Coke and what kind of Coke.”

“It was our first time having fish here since Dave and Danyele took over! Very good! We’ve been coming here for over 20 years and we’re happy to say that we love it and will continue to have our Friday Fish here when we’re in town! Also love and appreciate the family friendly atmosphere!”

“This is one of the few true local bars left that has not been over-run with tourists. The locals keep it plenty busy. The food is good and the service has been good. JeriLyn is a top notch bartender and it is a nice looking little bar on the water.”
