“WOWWWW! As a non-vegan, I was definitely skeptical of this restaurant, but that was my mistake. This is one of the very best restaurants in all of Madison. It was so good that I went twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the food was! The service was excellent and Juan, the chef, made our experience super memorable. Make sure to get the chickpea paneer and the bao, they are both to die for! I'll be coming back (maybe again next week haha) and plan on taking all of my friends and family there to impress them. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you to the staff for such an amazing dinner!!“
“Madison's on King Street in downtown Madison is always a great place for food, drinks, and hanging out with friends or coworkers. It's one of my favorite spots for happy hour. They have a great happy hour menu and it's from 4-6pm Tuesday thru Friday. Their spicy margarita and dry rubbed wings are delicious!“
“The food here is excellent (I've been about five times now), but I've noticed that "small Plates" seems to have become "tiny plates." My husband and I and another couple each spent $100, and I can't say I was satisfed. Not sure I will return. . . .“
“My company had thier holiday party here recently, I had never been before. What a beautiful establishment and great location!The staff was great, friendly and fast, I never waited longer than a few minutes for a drink. “If you are looking for a fun dining experience, it is a fairly nice option. The vibe is pretty friendly and casual; the plating is beautiful. However, when it comes to food I feel like (at least for our menu) they tried to put too many strong flavors on one dish and these are not always balanced. Sometimes too salty, too sour, or too sweet. (Especially the Mac and Cheese with pine and pretzel, way too much salt!! I can appreciate very strong cheese but it should be paired with something plain, not melted entirely as a cream sauce where the high salt almost tasted bitter and caused dizziness.) Among the 12 dishes, 2/12 really good appetizers raised expectations and 6/12 tasted OK, except that 1/12 was uneatable, 3/12 were a little disappointed concerning the flavor. I mean, it's definitely not a bad place as a cozy & creative family-owned restaurant, but it do need re-polishing for the menu.“

They have a toy corner for kids too!I'd wish the toys were cleaned once in a while. They were very sticky and had crusty dirt on them. “Stopped in for lunch with family and was warmly greeted. Beautiful resturant with a full bar with slot machines and darts. Several different rooms available. It appeared they were setting up for a wedding in a separate party room. It looked lovely. We sat in a room with a view of the water. Look forward to coming back in the summer so we can sit outside. The family ordered bloody Marys which they said were good. We had steak sandwiches which were tasty. Our waiter was friendly and efficient!“

“We stayed at the Indigo on 3/28/24 and absolutely loved the service. We stayed in the bar area (7pm) and the bartender was excellent, made us an amazing Wisconsin Old Fashion Sour, excellent professional and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious and quickly served. We casually mentioned that my wife's birthday was the day before and the manager I assume, ( very friendly and professional, bald gentleman) brought us a Keylime pie out of nowhere! She was extremely happy. You guys rock, thank you so much and we have been here before and continue to stay here because of the amazing service. Both at the restaurant and at the hotel, hotel staff is also very friendly and even gave our dog a doggie biscuit. This is our all time favorite place to stay whenever we are in Madison. “BEST salad bar EVER for a very reasonable price! This truly was a "gem" for a dining experience because of the friendly service, exceptionally fresh and tasty (excellent variety) of food offered for the salad bar, great location, on-site parking (for free) and chic decor with a warm ambience.“

“Overall was good me and my friend went here and ordered 2 things chicken wings and cheese curds and just saying the curds are the best I ever had and that’s saying something I have had my curds in my time will get again when I come back but I don’t recommend the chicken wings they are not good. and the menu didn’t have any prices so I assumed just getting 2 appetizers would be probably like 15-20 bucks turns out just the two appetizers was $40 which I know you can charge whatever you want but 40 dollars for 2 appetizers is outrageous but apart from the price would highly recommend just don’t order the chicken wings there bad just get all cheese curds you won’t regret it“
