“My husband and I can put for lunch today and the waitress was on point we came the night before for dinner and had a great waitress Even the manager was great he came over to us last night and the same manager was there today and said hi and made us feel like we were important the food was very good and the portions were just enough Thank you to a great lunch and dinner”

“I made my second visit to Ortega's yesterday and was just as delighted as the first visit! The food is delicious and the service is great. It has a great vibe and is immaculate in terms of how clean and nice the dining space is! I got carry out and I really, really appreciated seeing my food was wrapped in simple foil and chips in a brown paper bag. It's not always the easiest or cheapest way for a restaurant to use more eco-friendly methods so they deserve a shout out from someone who noticed and appreciates this effort! I had a 30+ minute drive afterwards with my carry out and my tostada was STILL crunchy when I got to my destination!! And also delicious 😊 I was so impressed! If you live in Charles Town or are just passing through like me do not miss a chance to stop in at Ortega's!”

“It's really tasty food. They are very considerate of take-out orders and individually wrapping items with crunchy tortillas/tacos and separating the tortilla chips so they don't become soggy.”

“Wow for starters my husband got loaded steak fries and where I’m from it’s steakums nooo this was actual steak on fries it was so good I ate some of his plus what I ordered I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and fries it was so good . The lady was very friendly and the wait wasn’t long we definitely will be back .”

“Another bar in area with huge potential. Owners are awesome as people. The food is excellent for bar food especially the tenders. Prices pretty good. Some bartenders love what they do some need to remember they’re in the people business. Not rude. Just blah. With better advertising and investment in some high top tables even just around the bar area, they’d kill it. Busiest night lately is karaoke Wednesday which is hosted by an absolute pro (for this area). Pool league Mondays is busy as well. They are the only true pool hall in county that I know of. Great outdoor patio for area as well.”

It was great seeing Brook. She was an amazing manager at the time we're were going in. She is now a bartender, since she's been going to school. We were very happy to catch up with her. Super nice.

“im not sure the gentleman's. name that delivered pur pizza today, but he is by far the nicest delivery driver ive met. we had a horrible experience with one delivery driver and this man made up for that today. he deserves a raise and to be recognized for sure. im Sorry I didnt get his name, but our delivery was on S. George Street if that helps. thank you to him!!”

“This is a long John silver with an A&W in one restaurant. You can order from anyone you like and also mix and match.. there aren’t many of these restaurants left across the country. I was pretty happy to see them and that too together. Food is good. They’re quick with it quality is as expected. It really takes you back. Prices are extremely reasonable. You will have a fulfilling meal here. The other fast food joints and try something different here.

I ordered from the A&W menu, specifically the spicy double papa burger. And all the veggies on the burger were extremely fresh and the fries are amazing. All For $10. Definitely better value & better taste as compared to a lot of the other fast food joints.”

“I’ve been eating here since I was 16 years old over 40 years now and it is even more special to me now since this is the last place I had lunch with my son before he passed away. I live in Florida now for over 15 years but every time I come home to visit family. I always come here sit in the same booth that Jeff and I sat at for that last lunch over 4 years ago now.”
