“This is a really great laid back bar and the beers are always cold . They have one of the best selections in town as well In my opinion. You can play pool , darts , and even board games. One of my favorite bars to go to in the downtown area“
“Keglars is an iconic part of Morgantown, with great service and good food. Ranked as one of the top 101 Sports Bars in the nation, you really can't go wrong with this one. And if you're a fan of the Big Lebowski, this gem is definitely the one for you. Our bartender was charming and helpful, suggesting a blue cheese crumble golden wings that was nothing short than wings of the Gods. The snag in our wing feast was that we had order a basket of egg rolls that were good in taste but a little too crunchy in texture. Still, this sports bar and bowling alley ranks as a great place to catch a game or happy hour.... I can say that this is one place in Morgantown where The Big Lebowski main character would feel right at home... The Dude Adides“
“This has been my favorite WV brewery. Their beer is so creative, and you get the feel that they care for their craft and their community. “I recently had my baby shower here in the Clara room. The room itself is beautiful as is with drapery hanging from the ceiling and it only got better with our decorations. Rob the manager made sure to have tables/chairs set up with napkins and linens when we arrived. He was very attentive during the entire shower and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot and delicious and a vegetarian meal was provided for my veggie guest. Rob even brought me sparking grape juice so I could feel included while my guests enjoyed sangria. Everything was lovely and I definitely recommend having your bridal/baby showers or rehearsal dinners here.“
“Definately a place to go if you want to be seen at a club. Always buisy so go early. People in here really dont talk to eachother though. It's kinda small. It is 2 floors with 2 bars and a couple lounge areas that's it. Drinks aren't bad for watered down club faire plus there are enough bartenders you dont have to wait until your inevitable death to get a drink. I'd go here again but it's not the kind of place you spend all night in.“
“Excellent food and service. The Manhattan chowder was very good and filling. The chicken quesadilla was very tasty and full of chicken as was the Caesar salad with the smoked chicken. The roast beef was tender and tasty. We stopped for lunch but could envision this a fun place in the evening when more people could “throw the axes”! There are back rooms for larger groups. Very clean and well maintained!“
“We will be back! My wife and I came here on a Wednesday night. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. I got the stuffed short rib ravioli (apparently this is a seasonal dish. The bread that comes with it is amazing!), and my wife got the fish and chips. Both were delicious.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs and booster seats, and lots of room between the tables.“
“I've been to Taters about 5 times now and each time has been fantastic. This place specializes in its namesake: potatoes. They will do up a big baked potato any way you want it with plenty of meat, sour cream and cheese. Taters also has some of the best potato soup in all of morgantown. Made fresh this soup comes out steaming hot and is delicious. As a fairly new establishment I can't wait to see how this place grows overtime.“
