“We enjoyed our lunch at Eagles Nest today. We had the buffet that offered country fried steak and a spicy chicken dish (they change daily), alongside roasted potatoes, fresh green beans, dinner rolls, fresh salads, and various dessert items. The fried steak was very tasty, the beans tasted like grandma used to make, and the salads were extremely fresh. The star of the meal was the exceptional service. Each of the wait staff stopped by our table, at one point during our meal, to ask if anything was needed.“
“Hostess at the door was a real "B". Skipped over my name and called out 5 others. Then when asked about it she said she called it and no one said anything. I was standing right next to her and physically watched her mark thru my name and call the next one and so on. I get it, people have bad days. But don't take it out on someone else that isn't part of your bad day.Food was good as always. And my waitress was phenomenal. She definitely went above and beyond to make the trip more pleasant. Thank you.“
“!!!!! DO NOT GO AT NIGHT TIME UNLESS ITS MONDAY OR TUESDAY!!!!!!! THE NORMAL NIGHT CREW THAT WORKS AT NIGHT SUCK. FOOD SUCKS AND THE SERVICE IS SO BAD THEY TAKE FOREVER TO BE SEATING EVEN THO ITS DEAD AND FOREVER FOR FOOD. I BEEN A REGULAR AT IHOP FOR YEARS AND IM PICKING UP ON WHO IS USUALLY THERE I LIKE TO GO NIGHT TIME BUT IM DONE THEY ARE TERRIBLE THEY NEED TO BE TRAIN BY PEOPLE THAT WORKS IN THE MORNINGS AND I NEVER SEE A MANAGER IG HES THE ONE COOKING THE POOR FOOD SEEMS LIKE A COOK TO ME YOU CANT MANAGE A RESTAURANT BY ONLY COOKING. THEY ARE JUST AWFUL. But I went last Tuesday and only one server and I think 2 cooks and I saw the best manager her name is Donna I knew her for years at ihop she use to be a server cleaning and running the front she was awesome and the server I’m pretty sure her name is Paula she’s been there for a long time but she said her crew works on Mondays and Tuesday only at night so. If I ever want dinner from ihop im only going on mon or Tue FOR THE BEST!!!!! Every morning tho it’s awesome but night time shift needs some work before they start looking like the KC one!!!!! BUT IT ALL COMES DOWN ON WHOS MANAGING HAVE TO HAVE A GOOD MANAGER TO RUN A STORE GOOD!!!!!!!!“
“Idk his name, but the old guy who always wears the light grey shirt and who’s been here forever, sucks. We’ve had him multiple times and he always messes things up with our order only comes around to get order and place check. First watch itself is great, good food, lovely place, highly recommend. It’s just that one guy that’s terrible.Parking: There’s a lot free on the weekends.“
“Honestly, I rarely do reviews but this dinner was the best so far on our road trip across Kentucky and now West Virginia. We had met Nick who works in the kitchen the day before who gave us the recommendation and he was spot on. Really great food with the correct portions. Cocktails were awesome from Derek who was attentive and super knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Charleston area to dine at.I’m not surprised that the chef/restaurant is nominated for a major award.Keep up the great work.“
“My family & I Absolutely Love this place the food is always excellent and if you know me I’m not the one to just give rating from just a couple of visits My family and I have patronized this restaurant for years and the last is always as amazing as the first and on top of that it’s spotless which is definitely a plus You will not be disappointed“
“Egg roll sampler - incredibly creative idea, expertly delivered. Really enjoyed three of the rolls, other did a great job being exactly as described. BBQ (pork) is super tasty. Spicy is really good, doesn’t pack much spice punch though. Cheeseburger wasn’t our favorite, but it is an extremely effective delivery of a cheeseburger as an egg roll (which turns out isn’t our personal preference). Best for last, the reuben - best reuben we’ve had in the state of WV and it was in egg roll form. Will try to return to get the actual reuben sandwich.Hiroshima - very interesting dish, really enjoyed the ball of rice. Just the right amount of crunchiness. Broccoli and chicken are done just right. I got it “spicy,” and it wasn’t (in my opinion). Waitress got more spice for me super quickly. Really appreciated the flavor after the addition of more spice.Crispy Chicken Melt with onion rings - good taste, all seemed a touch over cooked. Still enjoyed it though.Incredible wait staff, very attentive and very busy keeping everything clean. It got a bit loud from casual conversations at other tables, not enough to dampen our experience.“
“What a delightfully delicious dining experience! Our food was terrific, especially the Angel Hair Crabcakes, and our cocktails were out of this world! Our server, Crystal, was the epitome of the best of the best! She made excellent food suggestions and never made us feel rushed. Kudos to Crystal! On our next visit to Charleston you can be sure we will once again dine at Hale House!“
“The lamb, prepared with impeccable skill and seasoned to perfection, is a true testament to the chef's culinary prowess. Each succulent bite is bursting with flavor, tender and juicy, leaving diners craving more with every mouthful. Accompanied by expertly paired sides and sauces, the lamb dinner at Noah's is a symphony of taste that delights the senses.Equally impressive is the flounder dinner, a seafood lover's dream come true. Fresh, delicate flounder fillets are expertly cooked to tender perfection, their natural sweetness shining through with every forkful. Complemented by a harmonious blend of complementary flavors and textures, this dish is a testament to Noah's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients and treating them with the utmost respect.Of course, no visit to Noah's would be complete without a mention of the impeccable service. Behind the bar, Hutch reigns supreme, effortlessly crafting cocktails with precision and flair. His warm demeanor and expert knowledge elevate the dining experience, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.“
“Tudor Biscuit Breakfast! While on a road trip to Charlotte North Carolina we made a stop to. Little breakfast spot that the drive through was staying full! We walked in and it was empty, so we order from Josh who was amazing! He brought out our food and drinks quickly which made me ?... somebody back there knows how to cook! Everything was fresh and well made. Tasted awesome and was full of flavor. The biscuits were perfect and huge! Listen... if you are in West Virginia and get a chance to try them DO IT!#scotchwithe#food#foodie#foodblogger#foodreview“
