Their staff are all friendly and courteous. The owner is the best. I’ve been coming here a long time so this is one of my go to spots for brunch, happy hour, lunch or dinner and drinks. Patio tables for outside seating are available too. Good vibes. Great fun place!“

“The food was absolutely wonderful!! I am from Texas City Texas I can to visit my sister . We ordered a little bit of everything. I seen the owner taking pride and preparing the meals . They handed the food very nicely. My Brussel sprouts was the best !! Never had them like this . The meatloaf was well seasoned . My Mac and cheese was great ! I am picky and this food has me wanting me to ask my sister to mail me a plate next day through the mail . Keep up the amazing work ! I hope to see this place in my city one day .“

“Okay, I get it. I understand why this place has such a long line to get in. We ended up going Saturday for brunch, and the weight was about an hour and 20 minutes to get a table for six people. And again, as you can tell by the first statement, it was definitely worth the wait.The food we ordered was the chicken and waffle, the California burrito with no meat, and a friend got a combination platter that included the sandwich. Overall everything was well seasoned, healthy portions of the meat and carbs and side items that came with it. The only thing that was a call out from the friend that got the chicken and waffle was at the Waffle was a little bit on the tough to chew side. Granted he did call out that with the compote and the syrup it helped to soften it and at the same time the sturdiness of the waffle was meant to help with the chicken and the other things that went on top of it. So again great flavors overall with the chicken and waffle being mindful that the waffle is a little bit more on the sturdy side so that it is able to deal with all the things on top of it“

I went with the butter chicken, hefty helping served over rice with a decent size side salad for like $11. I ate about half of it and will be eating the other half for dinner, fully recommend this spot.“

“I came to Hawks for the first time with my family to celebrate my birthday. Our food was excellent though I was a little surprised by prices, I thought they were a little too high. First course, we shared charcuterie plate, I thought there too many pate, we tried all but still had a lot left over. For entree, I had duck confit with couscous and peas, I didnt really like the peas. My husband had wagyu cheeseburger, and kids had chiken strips and fries. We all liked our food. I would say it was 9.5/10. We did receive a plate of complimentary birthday dessert which was very delightful, as I didn't want to start placing dessert orders as it was around closing time. I do want to say a huge thank you to our server who went above and beyond especially being super sweet towards our kids. He provided exceptional service! There were no other families in the restaurant with kids at the time and I'm very happy he made us feel welcomed. I see us coming back here again to try other items on menu but probably only for special occasion.“

“Wonderful meal! Delicious food, excellent service and a very memorable evening to celebrate my husband and my daughter's boyfriend's combined birthday. Barket, was our friendly and efficient server. He got everything spot on! There were six of us and we ordered a lot of food. Everything was hot, delicious and we ate every bite. There was only a tiny bit of flatbread pizza leftover that we took home. The hit of the table was the potato skillet side. It was potatoes with cheese and bacon and chives and everyone loved it!! Special thanks for allowing us to be seated when two of our party was running late, which became very late. Thank you Barket for your patience and understanding while we waited for our daughter and her boyfriend. Thank you for allowing me to bring in a special dessert for their dietary needs and for keeping it cold and serving it to them. My husband and our daughter's boyfriend both felt very special with the wonderful way you served their desserts to them. It was so sweet of you to ask their names and write it out on the plate in chocolate and sing happy birthday to both of them using their names. Barket went the extra mile for us and we greatly appreciate him and his friendly service and attention to detail. We will definitely be back and hopefully can get Barket as are server again. I highly recommend him and the fabulous food.“

So nice and attentive. Great service. And the food? I can't find a monte cristo anywhere. It was soooo good! Prices were great and you get so much food! We will definitely be back!“

The space has some kitschy little touches like a silverware clock and outlet plug ins in the booths??? It could definitely benefit from a little face lift. Service was another area that could have used a little improvement. We were greeted and seated and then left to our own for a bit. The menu options are plentiful which is not always a good thing. The food was mostly hit or miss for us. The hash browns on the Benedict are very pretty but were left uneaten due to the stale grease taste. The scramble was pretty tasty. This is a 3.5 star review for us which I will round up for being a family run establishment.“

When I ordered a porter, I was bought two to sample, both excellent; I recommend the Donner Party Porter The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Also ordered at my table was a turkey and Swiss sandwich. The roasted turkey was stacked high, with sliced avocado and tomato on toasted sourdough. The food definitely exceeded " bar food" expectations. “What can I say about it that hasn't been said before? Got a burger since it was advertised as their award winning burger and it was excellent. My wife got tomato soup as well as a meat quiche. I should've gotten the meat quiche. That was also really good as well. To top it I got a bloody Mary. They seem like they didn't mix it well and I felt all the alcohol was on top. No points taken off though since it was good anyways.“

“Our group ate outside on the patio and we had a fabulous time. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our server Jenny G. was outstanding. She read our table just right and gave us space to enjoy our meal and conversation but was available. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is that I loved my caesar chicken salad but I never discussed my tablemates food with them. They ate everything so that counts.“

“Wildwood Kitchen and Bar is my new favorite spot for Brunch! This was our first visit and it was fantastic. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere to enjoy time with friends! Make sure to try the beignets and you can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. We will be back!“

“Alright, I admit, I have been driving past this place for decades. I always thought "Huh, cool name. I should stop sometime" but never did for some reason. Last night my wife and I were driving past after an event in Rocklin and we decided to finally give it a shot. Why have we not been here before?! An incredibly cozy and fun neighborhood bar. Great food; my cheesesteak was amazing and the homemade chips were on point. The prices are totally fair. The ambience was fun with a lot of regulars in good spirits. The music was there but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Apparently one of the owners is from Chicago, so there is plenty of Cubs and Bears paraphernalia along with SF gear (the other owner is NorCal) and it definitely has the Midwest "neighborhood bar" vibe. I half expected to see a bottle of Mallort behind the bar. Anyway, you should definitely stop driving by The Glass Turtle and stop in!!“

“To go Turkey plate with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts to share. Asked for triple gravy. Not impressed with Brussel sprouts; a mix of small and large, so both over done and under done. Gravy qty was more like normal amount. Turkey was ample and good but cranberry sauce minimal and watery.“

Adding to the fun, the live entertainment on weekends is lively and worth checking out (when the weather is nice you can enjoy the outdoor seating on the intimate, semi-private patio). This was our first visit but we are planning to make House of Oliver a regular hang out spot of ours.“
