“Wife and I went to Chef’s Table for the first time for an early late afternoon dinner.. It’s located in a shopping center so there is ample parking. We entered and were promptly greeted. As directed we seated ourselves to an empty table. Our server greeted us with water and menus. He completely explained the choices and even went over the desserts. I believe his name was Brahm. Really nice person as well as the other staff members. They really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We ordered our choices. Wife had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. In addition, she ordered the Caesar salad, I had the house hamburger with a side of French fries. Both dishes were excellent. The burger was humongous and delicious. Wife really enjoyed her choices. To finish, wife ordered the cornbread strawberry shortcake. Wow, what a great find. The place was half full when we entered and was packed when we left.I really want to compliment the staff in addition to the food. Staff and food made this a memorable experience. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.You gotta try this place.“

“Not sure how this place isn't rated higher. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is costs...but read on. While pricey the amount of food received was incredible. The 6 wings and tots meal could feed 3 ppl easy. Guy working front counter was very nice and helpful. Food came timely, all delicious. If your too cost sensitive be prepared but once you get it you won't be disappointed. Plan to share a meal and for costs it's a major deal!!! I'll be back again. Wings were meaty and Kiki's sauce really good. Tots good plain but really enjoyed the Kiki's tots too. Garlic fries worth it as well.“

“The food was absolutely wonderful!! I am from Texas City Texas I can to visit my sister . We ordered a little bit of everything. I seen the owner taking pride and preparing the meals . They handed the food very nicely. My Brussel sprouts was the best !! Never had them like this . The meatloaf was well seasoned . My Mac and cheese was great ! I am picky and this food has me wanting me to ask my sister to mail me a plate next day through the mail . Keep up the amazing work ! I hope to see this place in my city one day .“

“I came to Hawks for the first time with my family to celebrate my birthday. Our food was excellent though I was a little surprised by prices, I thought they were a little too high. First course, we shared charcuterie plate, I thought there too many pate, we tried all but still had a lot left over. For entree, I had duck confit with couscous and peas, I didnt really like the peas. My husband had wagyu cheeseburger, and kids had chiken strips and fries. We all liked our food. I would say it was 9.5/10. We did receive a plate of complimentary birthday dessert which was very delightful, as I didn't want to start placing dessert orders as it was around closing time. I do want to say a huge thank you to our server who went above and beyond especially being super sweet towards our kids. He provided exceptional service! There were no other families in the restaurant with kids at the time and I'm very happy he made us feel welcomed. I see us coming back here again to try other items on menu but probably only for special occasion.“

“We had a 15.minute wait time which was not bad at all. This is my second time here at this location in Roseville. Our server Oskar was very patient and attentive. We ordered for an appetizer the Cali roll Stack. For our entree we ordered the Vegetable Burger with Gluten free buns & fries, Philly cheesesteak & Fries and Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna.We will be back“

“We took our mother to lunch to celebrate her 98th birthday. She loved it and was so happy to be there. My only knocks were that it was difficult for her to get around with her walker, it's very loud during peak times, and when they're busy the restroom may be short on toilet paper and soap...but the ambiance on the patio was so beautiful and serene, especially with the view of the many maples in the adjacent nursery. The food was delicious with abundant portions. Our server was very attentive and was patient while we took our time studying the menu. He even lit a candle on the cake and sang to our mother. After lunch, we enjoyed hanging out by the koi pond in the nursery. High Hand is truly a gem, and a great choice for a special occasion!“

“Really nice place. Our waiter was great. This place is not vegan friendly. Even though they have quite a few vegetables with their entrées, when I asked the waiter, if they could make something Vegan, when he came back from the kitchen, he said I could have a salad. . I had to chop salad which was very good and a side of french fries. I guess the chef isn’t into improvising. They could’ve made me some roasted vegetables I would’ve been happy with that.“

“I'm embarrassed to say this but I grew up in Orangevale and this was my first time here! And all I can say is WOW! I have been missing out! Maria was our server and she was amazing. So nice and attentive. Great service. And the food? I can't find a monte cristo anywhere. It was soooo good! Prices were great and you get so much food! We will definitely be back!“

“I would call it an upscale American Grill. As advertised. Nice setting, the bar is prominent in the waiters are attentive. I love the choice of food some mixture of comfort and and upscale cuisine. We had a starter my wife had some steak and then we shared a dessert“

It's a good balance of relaxed "next door" atmosphere, with a top quality menu and preparation. Try the Elk medallions if they're on the menu! I appreciate the seasonal rotation so there is frequently something new to enjoy.“

“I came here about 6 months ago and got the cobb salad and I couldn't stop thinking about it, (currently living in Reno) I got it today and it lived up to all my hopes and dreams once again. “First time there and loved it! Dog friendly so had a nice patio seat. They even brought Scar a bowl of rice, chicken, egg. Human food was great. Love the battered fries and the veggie burger was one of the best. Greek salad also very good. Great beer selection. Friendly staff and good service. We'll return soon.“

“I'm a newly minted platinum member, and my game has improved immensely since I started going to Top Golf 6 months back or so. I get bored to death at driving ranges and this is a good remedy. Only dropping 1 star off the food for two reasons... Killed off my two go to menu items the breakfast biscuit and the Turkey wrap. Breakfast biscuit because it was the tastiest and turkey wrap cause it was good and under 1000k calories which is hard to find on the lunch menu. The tater tot hash thing doesn't compare and the similar "light" lunch item in the grilled chicken sandwich... Not great honestly. I get someone obviously made the decision to get biscuits and wrappers out of the kitchen and get everything on tots or a hamburger bun to simplify things... But these were really two of the better items for a regular who doesn't want a burger 3 days a week I'm my opinion. That plus more seasonal rotating taps, like some stouts, porters, ambers and reds on the beer menu would be nice too. Lagers IPAs and Mexican beers are swell but the more the merrier on beer. Love going here, great service every time... just sharing minor, minor grievances/suggestions and mostly because I was looking forward to a breakfast biscuit and had my heart broken. Also 1000 thanks for the veteran discount!! Great team running this place, hope you open one in Folsom or EDH too!“

“We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. Whenever we are in town, this place is a definitely on our list.“

“This place is located INSIDE "Local Kitchens"It was clean, fast, and seating inside and 3 tablets to order. The mac and cheese is good but need some salt and more flavor.... but love the creativity and the combination of mac and cheese in a sammy!Fries were a bit oily but that's everywhere and I liked the ranch. Overall the food was good for munchies. They should add more fun drinks to menu.“

“I am delightfully surprised to find this Kitchen at Barnes and Noble. I had the Caesar salad with Salmon, it was delicious but pricey. The drink service is from the Starbucks cafe, so refills might be slow depending on how busy the cafe is. “I had fish & salad. The fish was lightly beer- battered and very fresh, accompanied by a crisp flavorful salad. When I ordered a porter, I was bought two to sample, both excellent; I recommend the Donner Party Porter The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Also ordered at my table was a turkey and Swiss sandwich. The roasted turkey was stacked high, with sliced avocado and tomato on toasted sourdough. The food definitely exceeded " bar food" expectations. We dined on the patio as it was a fine day, but next time the pool table, music, & bar are calling me.Parking: We found parking easily within a block radias, but this was not at a peak hour.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, indoors and out.“

“Small and intimate environment with tasty small plates. I ordered the artichoke dip which was amazing and they provided veggies for me to dip, since I do not eat bread.I would definitely return to sample an entree.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian salads and small plates or sides.“

“I’ve always had fun at each location. Most recently we went to the one in the Palladio. There’s always sports on multiple screens & our bartender was so thoughtful & talented. The hostess & everyone was so nice. They took pictures of us, played great music & were super attentive. I’ll keep coming back, love this place.“

Food took a very long time to come out and I didn't get a refill of water until I was ready to leave. The atmosphere feels classy and clean, but the food and service weren't up to par for the price.“

“This was honestly the best salad I have had in years. I enjoyed a fresh, flavorful and enormous chicken caesar salad with romaine and kale and homemade dressing. My mom loved the salmon salad and my vegetarian friend found plenty of menu items too. We will definitely be back!“

Beer/cider options are plenty and changing often enough to keep things interesting, I find the food to be alright but not really my reason to go there. I’ll be honest and say I’m not a huge burger person so that could 100% be why as that is their main item of course.“

“Alright, I admit, I have been driving past this place for decades. I always thought "Huh, cool name. I should stop sometime" but never did for some reason. Last night my wife and I were driving past after an event in Rocklin and we decided to finally give it a shot. Why have we not been here before?! An incredibly cozy and fun neighborhood bar. Great food; my cheesesteak was amazing and the homemade chips were on point. The prices are totally fair. The ambience was fun with a lot of regulars in good spirits. The music was there but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Apparently one of the owners is from Chicago, so there is plenty of Cubs and Bears paraphernalia along with SF gear (the other owner is NorCal) and it definitely has the Midwest "neighborhood bar" vibe. I half expected to see a bottle of Mallort behind the bar. Anyway, you should definitely stop driving by The Glass Turtle and stop in!!“

“Any Jack's Urban Eats is always a pleasure to visit and go thru their cafeteria like ordering system and then sit and hangout a bit. This time we did an online order and was able to pick our food up from their self pick up shelf which was nice because I didn't have to visit the busy workers. I always go for their chicken sandwich, husband likes to get the mango salsa chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun which is so nice that they offer, and we go for the family garlic fries which are always good. We also got a side of Mac and cheese for our one year old and I haven't ordered that dish before and unfortunately it was not good. Was not nearly cheesy enough and the noodles weren't cooked al dente. My baby girl didn't even give them the time of day and she LOVES Mac and cheese. Maybe it was a bad batch but probably won't try that again. Otherwise any other item on the menu is amazing! And truly the employees put in work to make it amazing so kudos for them.“

“Great classy local place to take the wife for a fun night out! The menu is a bit limited but tasty and the Smore-tini is an interesting offering. Adding to the fun, the live entertainment on weekends is lively and worth checking out (when the weather is nice you can enjoy the outdoor seating on the intimate, semi-private patio). This was our first visit but we are planning to make House of Oliver a regular hang out spot of ours.“
