It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.”

My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! Lol come here and eat, the other dishes are mediocre and the hot pot we tried the first time wa so so due to the broths we weren’t a fan of and the meat and seafood weren’t of good quality and had gone bad when we had gotten to them in the fridge. “If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a great owner who cares about giving back to the community. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!”

“Shout out to Lichen Dutch Bros staff!!! Speedy service this morning, friendly faces! I ordered the seasonal Shamrock Kicker this morning (Friday) and noticed when it was being handed over that it looked lighter than normal. Even the broista was like, "are we sure this is it?" We shrugged it off since it was confirmed that it was mine. I got to the light and had my first sip- something was off. It was not blended, it was chunky... So weird. I hated being *this* person, but I got back into the line and expressed my concerns - that I have had the shamrock kicker before and it was usually darker, not chunky, and tasted amazing. The guy (who originally took my order) agreed and said "oh yeah, that doesn't look right. Possibly the carburetor." I apologized being *that* person, that I usually wouldn't get back in line for something so ridiculous and he laughed it off saying, "no problem at all! We WANT you to enjoy your drink! Especially on a Friday morning!" I was pushed back through the line and met with the guy in the window again and got a brand new drink, handed back in the old... The new drink was PERFECT. It looked like it should, tasted like it should. Chef's kiss. Thank you Lichen Dutch Bros staff for not making me feel crazy and for listening and understanding!”

“Fantastic! I love the staff I love everything that I've had here. They turned me into a coconut convert. I used to hate them but the way they prepare for here is delightful. We used to live two blocks away and I was so sad when we moved because I wasn't within walking distance to this place anymore, I now make an additional 30 minute drive just to buy from here. Well worth it, they also hand make all of their ice creams in house.”

“What a quick, easy, and delicious service! I was looking for a meal prepping service and came across Prepped Eats. Placed a order on Thursday and had my entire week of meals at my doorstep on Sunday. Each meal is healthy but delicious. My favorite meal so far has been the Roasted Garlic Chicken! The ordering process is super easy! As a busy person, this has made my life so much easier. I have actually saved a lot of money going with meal prep rather than grocery shopping. I wish I would have found this business sooner! Would highly highly recommend if you are looking to save time and money and be healthy all at once! They make it easy to reach your health goals and they have a WIDE variety of meals!!!”

“Was there with several of my girl friends today and had the most wonderful Chinese lunch! We had the egg drop soup, sesame chicken, sweet & sour pork, stir fried beef, pork pot stickers, bokchoy with 2kinds of mushrooms, walnut shrimp, fried rice, fried chowmein, stir fried white fish with veggies, and fried mini buns with red bean paste. Everything was very authentic Chinese food, meaning it wasn't "Americanized" in my opinion. The sweet & sour pork was not fluorescent red in color nor artificially sweet and the pork was crispy on the outside and tender in the inside and very tasty! Nothing seemed "heavy" with the thick layer of coating. All the vegetables were cooked right, not being almost raw, but just right. Plus the vegetables were very fresh! Highly recommend China House!”

“Overall good experience in would recommend. Their phones for calling orders seem to only work half the time. Not sure exactly what's going on, maybe a temporary issue and will change with you in the future. A little on the pricier side but quality is good 9 out of 10 times. A few of the times we got rolls or rice plates that felt a little bit old, but we order here on a weekly basis so understandable to not be perfect all the time.”

“This spot is Amazing and not flashy at ALL their wafflewiches are the highlight of their menu as these are truly a unique treat that you dont see or taste anywhere else. They definitely stand out from the rest of the menu, which is a traditional American dinner menu. One other item I'd like to highlight is their country potatoes! ? these hearty chunks of potatoes are delicious & done perfectly! They are chuncky, backed perfectly, & what I assume pan fried, to get a crispy exterior, all whill maintaining a moist & soft Interior. Truly a spot you won't regret trying!”

I usually do an order thru the app and they will bring it out to your car, so much easier with kiddos in car seats in the back! The flavors change weekly, so there's always something different to try. I docked off a star because they aren't always consistent, sometimes the cookies are better than others, and there are some weeks where the flavors aren't my favorite.”

“Taco Tuesday is always a hit and the tacos are only $2.22 each on Tuesdays. Definitely try the house made firebox beans or the freshly made fries or tortilla chips. The burgers are hand shapped and super fresh and so yummy. They have karaoke every night from 8p-12am. They have pool tables, karaoke, darts, jukebox, free peanuts, and a beautiful patio where you can take your drinks while you enjoy the outdoors or to have a smoke. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, see picture, and my husband the Lodge Breakfast with biscuits and gravy. We both thoroughly enjoyed the country gravy it was flavorful. I asked for Tabasco sauce because country gravy usually needs it the flavor bump. The Lodge's did not need it. The hash browns were the best I have had in a long time. They were nice and crispy and had good flavor. The decor is really fun and feels like you are in a cabin in the mountains. We will definitely be back!!!”

“Been coming here for years, even before it was Rosie's! Used to be a 24 hour roadhouse, sort of.Rosie's has great steaks, but in recent years I've been here mostly for the breakfasts. Great scrambled eggs, omelets and Bacon, and totally awesome Belgian waffles!They also have a couple of pages of Indian food. I haven't tried it, but my sister and her husband has, and pronounced it very good. I'll have to try it sometime. Maybe next time.Oh, and the jewel in the crown — When the wait staff approach the table while you're saying Grace, they stop and reverently wait until you're done before asking whatever it was they came to ask.”

I decided to sample what he has to offer. His menu are limited but his fish are fresh. Don't expect any fancy premium collection like Saba, Hotate, Ikura, Amaebi, Uni...etc, he will do special request but takes a week as fish are coming from Japan. I ordered chef special roll, O-toro, sake toro, and Suzuki. I felt the nigiri rice was little too much for me, just a pinch of rice would bring out the flavor of the fish more. There's no set chef special roll, he'll make whatever he feels like it. Pricing was reasonable since it's a ghost restaurant. Will definitely return again to explore his other dishes.”

“Today I visited TOGO’s for lunch and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The sandwich I ordered was stuffed full of fresh, delicious ingredients that were clearly of high quality. “Good location, right off Sunrise Blvd. Plenty of parking. The hostess smiled and held up a finger telling us it would be a minute. She never spoke to us. Within 2 minutes a waiter came and seated us. Menu and decor is fairly typical of a Mexican style place. We were served the usual chips, salsa and beans. We ordered lunch and some drinks. Service was a bit slow but not overly. The food was served hot and tasted good, but definitely not unique. For 2 lunches with drinks prior to tipping the bill was $45. It was a good place, but I probably won't go again.”

“I love this Subway. I go here twice a week in the mornings. Ardy, the owner, is the nicest person and makes the best sandwiches, quickly and accurately. This store is located inside our local Walmart and I order on my phone app when I pull into the parking lot for my midweek sandwich. It's ready and waiting 99% of the time when I walk into the store. We do our grocery shopping on Saturdays. The Subway is located near the entrance of the Walmart and the owner always says hi and waves if he sees my wife and I entering the store. He knows me by name and can even make my sandwich from memory (I get the same every time). It's extra things like this that create loyal customers. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.”

He had a great personality and was very interested in talking about the menu even though I told him it was okay because it was my first time! He broke down everything and showed us the little spinny menu to make any other changes to what we order! This guys is a valuable asset to this store and he deserves the recognition for the outstanding customer service he has given everyone! Sitting here waiting for my order and he still has the same energy and enthusiasm for every single customer! I would definitely recommend coming here!”

The reviews don’t do this place justice, much better than this average stars IMHO.I had actually never heard of it before today, just saw it driving by, coming back from an appointment. Lol I know crazy right? Service was great, food was really good, and those chicken fingers. Wow absolutely fantastic. Also, the bread was really good as well. Will be back and bring my family next time.FYI, the same meal at the “other” chicken place nearby was over $17. I then literally dropped my jaw, cancelled my order and drove away from the drive-through after they gave me the amount. I ordered the chicken strips meal for like $11 and with more food at Cane’s. I’m not cheap by no means, but $17 bucks for a small meal is ridiculous.Crazy…”
