“I came to Hawks for the first time with my family to celebrate my birthday. Our food was excellent though I was a little surprised by prices, I thought they were a little too high. First course, we shared charcuterie plate, I thought there too many pate, we tried all but still had a lot left over. For entree, I had duck confit with couscous and peas, I didnt really like the peas. My husband had wagyu cheeseburger, and kids had chiken strips and fries. We all liked our food. I would say it was 9.5/10. We did receive a plate of complimentary birthday dessert which was very delightful, as I didn't want to start placing dessert orders as it was around closing time. I do want to say a huge thank you to our server who went above and beyond especially being super sweet towards our kids. He provided exceptional service! There were no other families in the restaurant with kids at the time and I'm very happy he made us feel welcomed. I see us coming back here again to try other items on menu but probably only for special occasion.“

“They have always had good donuts, that's not debatable. This past weekend was my daughter's 4th birthday party. She asked for a donut themed birthday. I called the day before and asked for 2 dozen donuts. The woman I talked to was amazing. She was so excited for us, and she said she'd make sure we had lots of sprinkles, because the kids love sprinkles! When we went to pick them up on Saturday we had just driven to Cavitt Jr High to discover the annual egg hunt was cancelled. My daughter was so upset, she was completely inconsolable while we tried to explain we'd still get the donuts and her party wasn't cancelled. We went inside and the woman working the register was so kind to her that she completely forgot about the egg hunt. She showed her all the donuts she packed for us, and even gave her a special heart shaped donut. She couldn't stop smiling the whole time we were there. Anyone with a toddler or small child knows how game changing this was, and it helped set the mood for the rest of the day. TLDR. Donuts are awesome. Service is awesome. 100/10“

“We had an to Roy in Granite Bay and decided to try this since it was close by. So glad we found it! I love the atmosphere and location. Food was terrific and staff was very friendly. The Farm Bowl was delicious. My 12 year old can be a picky eater so thankfully there was a special of braised beef sliders, which he loved. Happy to recommend it. We need to come back for breakfast.“

“Wife and I went to Chef’s Table for the first time for an early late afternoon dinner.. It’s located in a shopping center so there is ample parking. We entered and were promptly greeted. As directed we seated ourselves to an empty table. Our server greeted us with water and menus. He completely explained the choices and even went over the desserts. I believe his name was Brahm. Really nice person as well as the other staff members. They really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We ordered our choices. Wife had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. In addition, she ordered the Caesar salad, I had the house hamburger with a side of French fries. Both dishes were excellent. The burger was humongous and delicious. Wife really enjoyed her choices. To finish, wife ordered the cornbread strawberry shortcake. Wow, what a great find. The place was half full when we entered and was packed when we left.I really want to compliment the staff in addition to the food. Staff and food made this a memorable experience. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.You gotta try this place.“

“Stumbled upon Divided Sky while looking for a place to set up my laptop and get some work done. This was a great choice. Steady foot traffic, but not crazy loud. Lots of interior seating and outdoor seating as well. The music was groovy but not distracting. Bourdain on the TV. Loved the decor and locally made art. Friendly staff and mellow vibes. I'd say the setting is welcoming for anyone. The food: I'm a snob for fried chicken sandwiches and they passed the test. I approve of this place and will be back!“

Try this place!LONG VERSION:My intent coming in had been to order a Club sandwich, but before I could, the young man behind the counter suggested the tri-tip French Dip they had on special. And just then two of them came out for an earlier customer and I was sold.I got the sweet French roll and passed on the garlic aioli. As Miss Vickie and I have had an intense relationship going for years, I was happy to meet her on their chip rack and share the sandwich experience with her. Sodas are in the can, which is not my favorite way to drink it, but pricing is reasonable and the selection is wide (my Diet Dr Pepper is a mundane choice - they have many varieties and flavors of sodas, juices, and the like).The sandwich was just about perfect. The tri tip was sliced to a proper thickness and cooked tender with absolutely none of the stringiness that tends to happen in these sandwiches. The au jus wasn't the watery restaurant variety, but a creamy, almost soup-like sauce which dipped well, coated the sandwich bites well, and was savory enough I considered using a spoon to slurp up what was left after I'd finished.The staff was friendly - not just with me but with every customer who came in or called. And it was busy while I was here! They were outgoing, talkative, and seemed to be enjoying their work. Great job!In a day when a convenience store sandwich will cost you seven bucks or more, $16 for a neat perfect trip tip French dip of decent size is a good deal.My only complaint was atmospheric - the fluorescent bulb above the counter seating I chose was flickering like a strobe light, which was far more annoying than I thought it would be. “It was Mother's Day weekend, so I expected complete chaos like every other restaurant. To my surprise, the organization and communication to be seated was a breeze.Once we were seated, our drinks came out quickly. We needed some extra time with the menu because our kids did not know what they wanted yet. Our waitress was more than accommodating and checked back in with us as soon as we were ready.The turn-around with our food and additional drinks were sufficient. The cooking quality of our breakfast was amazing! Exactly how we ordered it. I was very satisfied with our service and food quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.“

Oddly enough, I used to live right down the street from here for a year, used to go to the shopping center at least once a week and the Starbucks couple doors down a few times a week, for a few years... So, you can imagine how surprised I was to find out this place was there and this was my first time visiting it.... The service was great. They were on top of it, fast, attentive, helpful and very efficient. The restaurant is an old diner and definitely represents that old school style, layout and vibe. The food was great! Just what I needed and what I was looking for. I didn't even think that you could get as good of a breakfast from a diner, but, this was pretty great. “It's a really comfortable place to go. Good American food, some basic food that you can't really get in most places for a very reasonable price. Just plain beef stew, no fancy stuff, no sugar. The coffee is good, When I went in the place was full of laughter, the manager was laughing, people seemed happy. The table and the rest of the place were really clean. no loud music! “Haven't been to Yard House outside the one in Long Beach and man, they did not disappoint. Mind you I sat at the bar so I can't speak to the waitstaff, but the bartenders were attentive without being annoying. They read your needs really well. The environment isn't too, loud but was still energetic and has nice tall ceilings making the space feel huge. And the food was super tasty, and came super quick. Spicey garlic beef noodles were bomb!“

“Heard about this place awhile ago but finally got a chance to try it. Arrived around 11 am on a weekday. We got seated immediately and there were lots of open tables. Came with a friend. I ordered the chicken fried steak. My friend got a side of corned beef and a cinnamon roll. Portions are large and a good deal for the price! The corned beef is fresh rather than canned which is great. The cinnamon roll I massive and the size of the entire dinner plate! My chicken fried steak was crispy and cooked well. I ordered a biscuit with it which was also twice the size of a normal biscuit. The menu is massive. The servers were attentive and I would return to try other foods.“

Although it took about 20 minutes for a server to come to our table, the rest was a great experience. The pancakes were perfect and the sausage skillet was super tasty! Parking is limited, you may need to park behind the building like I did.“

I had to say Yummy Tummy to ao many people I startred to feel silly. The food is healthy and prepared fresh. And, we understand now why it is called what it is called.We tried this place on a whim because we wanted something different, and the Lobster Roll caught our eye. As you can see by our pictures, we did not end up getting that because the other two items we ended up choosing sounded Delicious from their description.Definitely have to say that the food was unbelievably delicious and full of flavor. My pastrami sandwich was out of this world I have never had a cut like this I believe they said it was called the Sailor cut so gives you a little bit more of that marbling of the meat so that it absorbs the flavors really well of the seasoning. Also, the rye bread was phenomenal. You could taste the freshness of the Rye it had a beautiful crunch to it and was still soft in the inside, which lent itself to absorbing the juice from the meat. And I can not forget that it came with these perfectly homemade pickles that were slightly sweet salty and a little Tangy that brought the entire sandwich together. Also I did not realize the salad that I got as my side would come with homemade blue cheese dressing that was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the Little Flower carrots that were in the salad very very nice touch.The Bob Hope Burger was so well balanced between sweet and spicy, and the caramelized onion that came with it was perfection. My friend asked for the burger medium, and it was cooked exactly the way he wanted it. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish it because I gave him a piece of the pastrami sandwich because I told him he had to try it.The last thing I would like to speak about is the waitstaff and service. Everyone there was so kind and welcoming. About three different people came to check on our table to see how things were doing, and they gave us a little bit of the history around the restaurant that connected to the lobster sandwich.I will not give that story away go check it out and find out the history behind the sandwich. I know I will go back because now I really want to try it“

My husband wasn’t sure which beer to choose and she enthusiastically brought us 4 different samples. The food was delicious. We’d highly recommend the Brewer’s Board (sausage, smoked Gouda, pickled red onion, apples and more), and the Western Deluxe Trip Tip sandwich. So yummy!
