“My friend recommended trying this place out because he knows how much I enjoy a good breakfast place. My go-to places are Fox and Goose and Tower Cafe. Both are perennial best in the city breakfast places.Granite Rock has much more variety for different diets with a vegetarian and protein section of the menu. They have more options for omelets and a fabulous burger. Their biscuits have a great wow factor, and the front of house staff can match many top Sacramento options.I was not disappointed, and that is saying a lot, considering I drove 30 miles to get here.Next, I will try their sister restaurant in Folsom (the name is different, but they mention it on the menu I posted here).“

“Love this place! Been there three times for happy hour and last night for dinner. It was awesome. The steak that I had was better than Ruth Chris for about half the price. Definitely our favorite place for dinner, and happy hour!“

“Very clean and friendly place. The food is really good and they were very attentive on refills on my drink I’ve been here three times now and on my third visit they knew what I wanted to drink The prices are very reasonable and it’s nice to support family own businesses. I would, And have recommended this place for breakfast and lunch. Also the bathrooms are very clean.“
“We popped by Pyramid Bar & Grill, which is open to the public, on a hot weekday afternoon and found an indoor table with a pretty view of a water fountain and the course. You go to the bar to give your order, but the bartender brings your food to the table. The woman working that day was very nice :) Food came out pretty quickly and portions were generous. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was tasty and lean, that came with a side of slaw, which was interestingly made with napa cabbage and dressed nicely without a lot of mayo. Would go back when in the area as long as a table with a view was available.“

“For over 20 years we have enjoyed delicious breakfasts at Venita Rheas! The entire experience, from the hearty, tasty meals to the friendly service, is always Five Star. Even the Owner stops by our table to say ‘Hi’ and check that all is well.“

Whether you're in the mood for a stack of fluffy pancakes or a juicy burger, they've got you covered. And don't even get me started on their milkshakes—they're so good, they should be illegal! But what truly sets Mel's apart is the atmosphere. It's not just a place to eat; it's a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind with good food and good company. Plus, the jukebox in the corner is always ready to play your favorite tunes, adding to the diner's retro charm. In conclusion, Mel's Diner is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a good time. “Wife and I went to Chef’s Table for the first time for an early late afternoon dinner.. It’s located in a shopping center so there is ample parking. We entered and were promptly greeted. As directed we seated ourselves to an empty table. Our server greeted us with water and menus. He completely explained the choices and even went over the desserts. I believe his name was Brahm. Really nice person as well as the other staff members. They really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We ordered our choices. Wife had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. In addition, she ordered the Caesar salad, I had the house hamburger with a side of French fries. Both dishes were excellent. The burger was humongous and delicious. Wife really enjoyed her choices. To finish, wife ordered the cornbread strawberry shortcake. Wow, what a great find. The place was half full when we entered and was packed when we left.I really want to compliment the staff in addition to the food. Staff and food made this a memorable experience. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. You gotta try this place.“
