Chef's Table

“Wife and I went to Chef’s Table for the first time for an early late afternoon dinner.. It’s located in a shopping center so there is ample parking. We entered and were promptly greeted. As directed we seated ourselves to an empty table. Our server greeted us with water and menus. He completely explained the choices and even went over the desserts. I believe his name was Brahm. Really nice person as well as the other staff members. They really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We ordered our choices. Wife had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. In addition, she ordered the Caesar salad, I had the house hamburger with a side of French fries. Both dishes were excellent. The burger was humongous and delicious. Wife really enjoyed her choices. To finish, wife ordered the cornbread strawberry shortcake. Wow, what a great find. The place was half full when we entered and was packed when we left.I really want to compliment the staff in addition to the food. Staff and food made this a memorable experience. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. You gotta try this place.“

“My friend recommended trying this place out because he knows how much I enjoy a good breakfast place. My go-to places are Fox and Goose and Tower Cafe. Both are perennial best in the city breakfast places.Granite Rock has much more variety for different diets with a vegetarian and protein section of the menu. They have more options for omelets and a fabulous burger. Their biscuits have a great wow factor, and the front of house staff can match many top Sacramento options.I was not disappointed, and that is saying a lot, considering I drove 30 miles to get here.Next, I will try their sister restaurant in Folsom (the name is different, but they mention it on the menu I posted here).“

Pyramid Bar & Grill Bar & Grill • $
2305 Clubhouse Dr, Rocklin

“We popped by Pyramid Bar & Grill, which is open to the public, on a hot weekday afternoon and found an indoor table with a pretty view of a water fountain and the course. You go to the bar to give your order, but the bartender brings your food to the table. The woman working that day was very nice :) Food came out pretty quickly and portions were generous. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was tasty and lean, that came with a side of slaw, which was interestingly made with napa cabbage and dressed nicely without a lot of mayo. Would go back when in the area as long as a table with a view was available.“
