“I would give this tiny restaurant a 4.75 out of 5 to be honest.I had the fajitas with mixed meats of chicken, asada and shrimp, it was cooked perfectly. The rice was good, though I thought it was a little bland.The only thing I didn’t care for were the refried beans. They were watery and lacked flavor, but the rest of my food was great! The staff were so nice and so friendly it made up for the beans.If I were to visit again I would definitely try the cocktails, they looked delicious!It is a very small restaurant from the outside, if you’re not paying attention you could miss it. Once inside it’s a good size and beautiful space. Very clean too.“

“Pupusas start at $2.50 queso y loroco and revueltas are delicious. The place looks a bit outdated inside but they have been fixing it from what I can tell, it's pretty clean inside. If you're on the go I recommend you call in to place an order, ready in 15-20 min“

“The food here never fails! Best location in my opinion, nothing compares. Service is kind of fast. However, they usually get things wrong in our order for example they'll add avocado when I said not to, they'll forget an order of dumplings, etc. that's the only thing to watch out on... not really a dine in place it's like a lay back place, but it's not that clean... not necessarily dirty but just not the cleanest place on earth.“

“The quality of the food was amazing, it made up for the fact that it was online ordering. We had the little gem Cesar Salad, blistered shishito peppers and the mushroom soy sausage pizza. The cuisine was exquisite and provided an exceptional dining experience, with its rich and delectable flavors tantalizing our palates. We plan to come back again. The service was on point, friendly and accommodating. The inside is small yet very well decorated, the colors vibe with the plate settings. Truly enjoyed the experience.“

I came here solely for the noodles made in collaboration with Keizo Shimamoto from Shimamoto Noodle Inc. They are really the star of the bowl. The tonkotsu gyokai broth was alright, but overall, this was one of the better tsukemen you can find in Socal imo.The Smoked Dashi Ramen, on the other hand, was quite weird. It starts off fine but the longer you take to eat it, the fishier the broth will get so get ready to slurp fast ?“

The garlic and hot sauce were fantastic as well.Pro tip: Get one of the plates, mix in the hot sauce and a little bit of the garlic sauce into the protein (I went with the beef) and rice. Then mix in the hummus. The other option is to pay for parking which can range between 10-30 dollars. The dan dan noodles and sha gua mian did not meet our expectations. The noodles seemed a bit overcooked and a sauce/acid could have given the dish more of a balance in flavor.Our table marker was taken off the table a little early and that's when we saw on the receipt that a missing item was added incorrectly. Our server fixed it promptly so that was great.“

“I love Pine & Crane! Seriously amazing Taiwanese food. The restaurant is stylish, modern and clean while the food is very authentic and completely delicious. My kids were surprised at how tasty everything was. Healthy too! We will def be back often!!!! If they have it, the lotus root salad is a must! 3 cup chicken is amazing, wontons, etc… I want to try the wood ear mushrooms next!!!“

“Cara is a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The outdoor seating area by the pool is lovely. We were immediately greeted by the wonderful host, Brianna, who was very welcoming and it was apparent she was going out of her way to make sure our birthday dinner was to our liking. She was very caring and offered different options for seating. Our waiter, Danni, was very attentive and the service was outstanding. Overall, the food was great and very appetizing. The only thing I will say is the lemon pasta was different from what I remembered it was, the flavor was good but it was too oily. Other than that, the salmon and truffle fries were delicious. “My favorite soondubu place! Korean restaurants don't usually have much vegan banchan but Surawon always has plenty of options, usually at least 4 out of the 6 or so banchan are vegan. My favorites are the firm tofu and seaweed. The mushroom, seaweed, and veggie soondubu, as well as the japchae, bibimbap, and pajeon can all be made vegan, and everything is excellent. Service is quick and friendly!Vegetarian options: Plenty of clearly labeled vegan options on the menu“

“Outstanding food and service. Reservations were limited so we went right when they opened and snagged seats at the end of the sushi bar. The highlights for us were the inventive, perfectly seasoned hamachi choco and buttery salmon nigiri—but honestly we would reorder everything we tried and can’t wait to come back to sample the rest of the menu. Mariano made us feel like VIPs with his stellar recommendations and good conversation. So happy to have this gem in the neighborhood! We look forward to enjoying their sister restaurant, Bar Seco, opening soon next door.“

“On my way home from DTLA I searched for bagels on Yelp and Maury's came up otherwise I would never know about this place. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and great attitude. Amazing customer service. The bagels were fresh and delicious. I loved their zaatar bagel with a labneh spread. So many interesting flavors of bagels and spreads and more. I loved these mini rugelach cookies were so good. Made on weekends only. So good. No indoor seating but some outdoor tables and chairs available.“

“Lovely little hole in the wall in Boyle Heights! Obviously this place is very well known for being some of the oldest and most traditional food in LA and it deserves its local fame. Definitely worth a stop for a home-cooked, cozy meal. Owner was also super cute, she knew many regulars by name and was very kind. Parking was not great, area wasn't that great either but no surprises there.“

We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere.However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“
