By far the best sub sandwich I've had in a long time and I'm now committed to trying everything on their menu. What a great experience to walk into a new (to us) shop and be greeted with a friendly welcome! Every member of the crew was friendly and conversational. Made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable with a fun mural on the wall and a good amount of indoor seating. Looks like additional outdoor seating is also available on warm days. Old School Subs is now our go-to place in Asheville for sandwiches hot and cold.“

“Absolutely amazing experience. The salad bar is great, tasty cocktails and wonderful staff. For some reason facebook won’t let me post pictures in my reviews but if you could see how beautiful this place is you would fall in love. The Garlic Sirloin was my favorite and the black beans from the bar was so tasty we had seconds.“

“I went here for a bagel pop-up in Feb, and it was the best bagel I've had in the area. The cream cheese options were unique and delicious. My boyfriend got the lox bagel and loved it. The employees were super friendly and fast. The only downside is that there's no indoor seating, and all the outdoor seating was taken. This is definitely more of a grab and go place.Parking: Large free parking lot. It's gravel, so it could be a bit muddy if it's been wet.“

“Finally, a place with truly hot hot wings with the mad dog sauce!! I’m the type that eats reaper and ghost pepper and only one other place has this level of heat in a sauce. I deducted a star because they left off the toppings I ordered for my sandwich delivery and the website needs more descriptives for their menu items. Overall, great food and recommended!“

“They saved my kiddos birthday, all they wanted was pizza and being Christmas Eve I couldn't find anyone open. I called them TEN minutes before closing, they answered the phone promptly and took my order! The people there are super nice as well. Thank you again!!!!“

The dining area is a little echo-y and noisy, and I'm not always a fan of the music, which is too loud to have a conversation with more than the person sitting right next to you, but if it's nice, the outdoor patio is welcoming. I wish they'd bring back the garlic dough-knots!Kid-friendliness: Kids love pizza. This is a no-brainer. Blaze is good about doing one half of a build-your-own for an adult, the other half for a kid.“

“Delivery was fast and the food was good. But the person who took our order was obviously not interested in doing his job well. Got our order wrong, and fries and chocolate milk were left out of the kids meals. It's never happened before, so I didn't check. But I will be checking from now on.“

The gentlemans name is Isaac and he was patient, affluent and assisted me in ordering and even making sure I had a drink. It's hard finding good people in fast food. “Had a wonderful experience at Olive Garden this evening. Cole was our waiter and he definitely made our experience better. He made an effort to make sure our table was satisfied with everhthing and answered all of our questions. He lit up the atmosphere, keeping the mood up.
