“We had mixed feelings about Avenue M. The hot cheesy artichoke dip was one of the best things we've ever eaten and worth a trip no matter what else. I would definitely go back for that. I had the smash burger and my husband had chicken wings (we had some difficulty finding something enticing on the very small menu); they were good and acceptable but that's about it. The ambience is one of those (now outdated) industrial style restaurants which I find cold and noisy when crowded. Service was very attentive.“

The location is great and has a decent amount of free parking around and near the building. The inside has lots of seating and is nicely decorated in a minimal style, and the space has lots of natural lighting. The works are friendly and the offerings at the coffee shop are good. I got a rose latte and a cinnamon oat cookie. The latte was 6-7$ after tip and the cookie was 5$.The music they play isn’t too loud and the general ambiance is nice. One of the best coffee shops in Asheville in my opinion :)Kid-friendliness: Has a corner of toys for child entertainment.“
