“What an amazing spot!! We had the 15-course omakase. Each piece was carefully crafted by Chef Frankie, and the combination of unique as well as traditional pieces made for a fantastic meal! The flavors were great, the fish was fresh, and the presentation beautiful. I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere, as well. Our server was attentive and we never felt rushed. Will definitely be returning!“

“Great food and ambience and truly exceptional service! They didn't have the beer I wanted from their menu, and the manager went to get one from a nearby place, complimentary. That's what I call service!! Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Amazing refined sugar cakes with super high quality ingredients. They also offer special flavors with fruits in season. I've ordered cakes from them a few times for birthday and parties. Everyone always loved it. The moo ice cream pie is also a nice treat, not too sweet (they use agave as sweetener mostly).“

“Probably the only Irish pub that has amazing oysters! It's across the street from Madison Square Garden. Great seafood, burgers and of course traditional Irish fare (Shepherds Pie, Fish & Chips, etc). The Lobster Bisque is to die for, but only served on weekdays. Fun fact: this place used to be underground in Penn Station, so you could grab a pint waiting for your train. Same train-theme persists though now at street level.“

“Run like a thief in the night with Seafood Mixer on Seward Ave. in Soundview. The plot where Seafood M. stands has become near and dear to the hearts of many Soundviewians. Including me. Whoever the business developers are, they took this overgrown grassy lot that's been vacant for the last 40 or so odd years and built a multi-business structure from scratch and Seafood M. dove in deep with it. I'll truthfully credit this find to my daughter- who, on her recent Holiday visit staying with Grandma, found this place on a whim. I jumped on it too days later. The first 2 dishes my kid got were the steamed AND seasoned Crab Legs+veggies and a steamed shrimp platter for my mom. According to her, my kid devoured the crab legs- which were perfectly steamed without making the shells soft. And my Mom's steamed Shrimp platter had a considerable amount of plump shrimp with a light seasoning that didn't overpower the seafood. On my recent trip though, I picked up the 3 piece Catfish-only meal and the 4 piece Whiting (the owner actually threw in like one or two pieces in there- thank you!). Both delicious. I may not be Southern, but I know a good dredge on fried fish when I see it and taste it. Renée(sp?) the owner- uses a fantastic and light that holds its own and doesn't crack into dust. The space may seem untidy- so don't come here for looks. Just come for the food. But, Renée has a great thing going and at 3 years strong, she's creating a sense of community and flare when Soundview never had a stand-alone fried fish/fish market spot. Wishing you much more success.“

“My boyfriend and I went there on a Sunday around 4:30 pm. I made reservations earlier the same day which weren't really necessary as it wasn't busy. We ordered our drinks and the waiter explained everything pretty thoroughly as it was my partners first time. The food was amazing, the only thing is that we didnt get the best filled pieces but it still tasted amazing. We got the king crab and the snow crab legs in their Cajon blend, mild w/ potatoes and 1 corn each. Great meal and the drinks were good as well. It is a cash only venue, the ATM avaliable does charge a percentage to take money out and there is a 20% service fee that's tacked on to the bill. I didn't see any signs about it and may have missed that on the menu but I assumed that 20% was including the tip. If it's not management should be more clear about that. Good vibes though.“

“Good. Maybe coming back next time. I think I might need to compare it with H mart, but generally we had a good experience. They even gave us different types of Korean sauces including the hot chili sauce. Happy to have this place in USA.(아쉬운 점은 연어회덮밥에 연어회가 좀 많이 부족했어요 ?)“
