“Came in here off of a rec from a friend! This place was great!First off, don't be fooled from the front and the location. The inside of this place is massive! It has a huge dining section as well as various places for seating and a nice bar when you first walk in.I recommend getting the empanada de pollo. I don't have pics because we ate them so fast. They were huge and very very good! We got the peruvian chicken to split and it was more than enough for two people! The french fries portion was huge and the chicken was delicious! Our waiter, Caesar was great! Definitely worth a spot for dinner!“

“I had such a great time at Dora's Thursday happy hour. Great place to reunite with friends. Food was good, drinks well priced and the owner was a delight. My steak came out a little less red than I like but the flavor was delicious. One of my friends requested to add chicken to her pasta and the owner was happy to accommodate and my friend loved her dish.Vegetarian options: No meat Pasta, salad and vegetable dishes were on the menu .Dietary restrictions: There was enough of a variety for all to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a gentleman in a wheelchair that appeared to be able to get around easily. Spacious dining area.“

“I think the taste is very good, but the meat quality itself is not bringing out the taste. That’s not to say the food is bad— if you’re used to chicken that doesn’t taste chalky, you know what I mean when I say the meat quality is holding the taste back. That said, their chicken is not chalky until you get to some of the inner parts, and I LOVE the way the skin tastes. The beef smells very good, but I find the meat a little hard to bite into. The mixto ceviche is the best I’ve had in a long time, because they actually give you a variety of fish and it’s not just two pieces of fish. The sangria is house made but a bit too sweet for our liking. I was surprised to see no pisco on the menu. Overall, the food tastes better than the photos show.“

“Great experience, waiter was very knowledgeable and explained every single detail. He was also very engaging. Food was definitely very good and there was many great options. Only reason im not giving it a 5 star is because the place looks fancy the people that go were very well dressed but the utensils did not look up to that it may be very minor detail but i feel like its all part of the dining experience.“

“Great authentic Peruvian food , the best ceviche that isn’t ridiculously overpriced in the city ! As a person who comes from South American background and grew up in Queens going to many Peruvian restaurants the flavor is definitely worth the trip to Essex Market in LES if you want an authentic ceviche mixto in Manhattan.“

“I came here because my friend recommended me to try the Rotisserie chicken. I came here with a pescatarian friend so I ordered the seafood options.First time trying peruvian food. Had some ceviche, jalea (seafood platter), and tostones. The ceviches was incredible, my peruvian friends that came with me said that its delicious. However the Jalea is a bit too fried. And also the tostones is not as good as my Peruvian liked it to be. I think the oil they use that day isn’t as fresh, hence the dark color of the fried food. However the service was great. The staff is very attentive to us. Would be back to try the Juanita’s chicken (Rotisserie chicken)later.“
