“Happened to be staying at the Marriott Marquis and decided to eat here since it was adjacent to the hotel. It was a great decision. It is always a plus when patio seating is available. The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Houston and, of course, even for locals, for an unforgettable Mexican dining.“

“Great neighborhood spot in Spring Branch. Been visiting off & on for years, but this is quickly becoming our new favorite go-to spot. Great draft selection, plenty of bottles & cans, great seltzer options & wine as well. Very mellow vibe always. Perfect amount of lighting inside. Cozy vibes. Plenty of seating. Backyard area is sweet & intimate. Everything is priced extremely reasonably. No pomp & circumstance involved. Great weekly date night spot for a few easy drinks. Owner is a nice guy too.“

“I've been to Flight Club probably 5+ times now because it's just that great! Such a fun activity for everyone, large groups or small. The ambiance of the space is nice and servers are always incredibly attentive and friendly. When we've gone for a celebration like graduation or a birthday, they have always given us some sort of voucher or free drink which is such a great touch! There's a good variety of games on the dart boards so that you can mix it up throughout your game time, and I just love that it keeps track of everything for you. There are some really fun touches like videos of the moment you win a game or make a bullseye, and cute little cartoon videos explaining the game. At $15 per person, I've found this to be one of the most affordable activities in Houston! The 90 minutes will fly by, so you'll definitely want to ask about extending your game afterward if they're not booked up :)“

“Went to this place last Saturday to celebrate my best friend birthday. The place was nice and the food really tasty. We were a large party 10+ with kids (from 3-12 years old). Everything was ok and we were having a great time until we had some trouble with the checks (they messed up eventhoug we were very clear about who was paying what) anyway, this was ok because our waitress was very nice and patient so we didn’t care that much. When they already “fixed it “ there was a remaining amount to be paid but we didn’t know from where since we all have paid it all. This waitress call the “manager”and when this lady came out, she was with and attitude like “I’ll give you shots and a Margarita but I need this to be paid” let me clarify we never had a problem about paying, just wanted to understand why if we had already done it. We ended up paying and she brought this shots with that attitude but honestly we were having a great time. Later than this, we (the moms) saw her talking to our husbans and we noticed something was going on. When I approached them, I was told that we needed to leave. She said to them that our kids weren’t behaving so we needed to leave now. I didn’t understand at first because she didn’t say a word or someone else while we were there. She was mad because our kids were playing in the place right next to it and said they weren’t allowed, but the man in charge of that place said they were good. Anyway, she brought this plastic cups and in a very rude way was standing by us like we were criminals. No one else came to say anything, it was only her! She claimed that she had told us so many times (no even one) and that we needed to leave the place. She was rude, she had no respect at all, she made us have a really bad time which is sad because honestly the place was very nice and we went there because it was a “kids friendly “ place and all we wanted to do was to celebrate my friend! I never write reviews, but at this time I felt the need to do it. So sad to have to say this, but not returning to this place while still in charge of zero prepared person. (She never said her name)“

“UPDATE!!!The owner reached out to me about the establishment being closed on Friday when I drove by. Due to the weather in the community, there was a power outage and they had to close early. Knowing this, I decided to swing by again and give them a try.Babyyyyyyy, I'm glad I did! First of all, the customer service was GREAT! I interacted with four different people and everyone was so personable and friendly. I told the man who was helping me that it was my first time and he recommended a drink for me. And they got really crowded, like full house @ 11PM when DJs coming in. Really love the vibes and the atmosphere. All of the servers, bartenders were super friendly, helpful, and dedicated. Even though they got full house @ 11PM, I got my drink really fast. My friend and I basically tried the whole menu. I wish I can be more “wow” when trying their signature cocktails. What I mean is the cocktails are good but I expected more from them.They offer Happy Hour w $10 for all signature cocktails, all day on Tuesday & Wednesday, up to 7PM from Thursday to Sunday. Isn’t it the best deal to try them out?They also offer $9 regular valet parking, and. $20 VIP valet parking. If you don’t want to, street parking on your own is also a good option.Overall, this is a good place to chill out with your friends.“

“I went to lunch at Stray Horse because the JW Marriott was the venue I was attending a seminar. I arrived earlier then other attendees and the restaurant got full very quickly. I was able to get my order in before the restaurant filled up. There were four people total assisting the crowd. I have never seen anyone move as quickly and assisting everyone with their needs. Even though they were busy they made sure I was taken care of. The chef salad was exceptional. I went to eat there the next day for lunch...need I say more.“

I was impressed by the service the restaurant manager Alberto provided from my initial contact through the end of the event and found him to be professional, trustworthy, and with an outstanding attitude towards his customers. Alberto offered suggestions and took personal ownership. Alberto's team especially Judith who helped with serving food did an outstanding job in making the event a very successful one. Overall, a great experience and outstanding value for money!“
