“Best in the neighborhood! Friendly staff, excellent latte and baked goods....morning muffin, ham and cheese croissant or homemade granola..its all good. Small, quaint coffee shop vibe, can get a little cramped when it's busy. Worth it♡“

“Go go go go go go go go go go go go go go! Period! Honestly I'm beating myself up for not going prior to my last day and it was only a 5 minute walk from my hotel. I'll know for sure next time. The breakfast sandwich, cinnamon roll and a maple latte...every since I left I make my coffee with maple syrup now. No other way. Very delicious“

“I come to this place probably once a week for a bagel before work and I just had to write a quick review. Whoever is DJ, there's always an amazing playlist. Not only is this my favorite bagel restaurant in Vermont but the music makes me feel like I'm inside of some bagel club and I'm in love with it. Today was a Laryn Hill playlist. Never change. Amazing vibes. 10/10“

“I had an apple muffin the other day that I LOVED. tbh I think it should be called a cupcake since it was an apple spice cake experience in small form but it was really delicious. I love that they have flavored vegan cream cheese. I'm not the biggest fan of their bagels--they're kind of bready, not very traditional bagel-ish. I also want to warn that the past 2 times I've ordered bulk bagels, I've received a cheese bagel in the pack. They used to have something on the website that said they only put vegan bagels in bulk orders, maybe they deleted that? But FYI!“

“This place is a hidden gem! It's so good and it encourages local arts. The food is delicious and really tasty. I would recommand this place to everybody.“
“Alert: there will be a healthy dash of food snobbery in this review :)While the bakery is perfectly better-than-decent (and the location and inside atmosphere great), I was left with the feeling that it could have done much to up their game. Possibly this is mainly considering that it is considered a French styled bakery and one's expectations might be unrealistically inflated. While the offerings (sandwiches, quiches, pastries, cookies, breads, etc) are perfectly fine, they seem very much entrenched in American bakery mode more than French-style. By that I mean that the cookies are thick and heavy and chewey, more for college boys and lumberjacks than anything flaky, light and delicate that would grace any 'rue' in Frnace :)The sandwhich bread similarly feels thick and doughy like more typical American fare than anything thinner and something that won't be visible around the midriff the next day. And the sandwiches are fine but for their price and size feel like even just one added creative ingredient would elevate them from the everyday/everywhere category to something with some more style and uniqueness and semblence of pseudo-French (red wine jelly, dijon mustard, lavender mustard, truffle aioli, red onion jelly, a French cheese...).Belleville leaves the impression of aiming to cater to everyone without alienating anyone by seeming too fancy (like Chef's Corner might to some, but even there it's not exactly French-style). And in doing so relegates itself in some middlezone that's fine but leaving a feeling of, oh it could be so much more! That said, no single review should ever be assumed to encompass the entirety of a place, and their menu changes constantly, so on any given day the experience might differ.“

“I was here in Vermont for work and went downtown and I like trying local places and tried this place, I like to try teas out for my stay at any place I go to, I don't like coffee but their chai tea was really good. I also got some bakery items as well, the carrot cake was so delicious and moist. The staff was very friendly and it was a clean place. It's so pretty here in Vermont“

“The breakfast sandwiches are so good that 70% of the time I drive over there they're all out but I'll keep making that drive knowing there's only a small chance. To be fair I'm unable to get out there until late morning.“

“I have placed many orders with Elizabeth and each time I have been so pleased with the macarons or meringues that I had chosen. The macarons are truly works of art: they are gorgeous and taste even better than they look. Each bite is a delight! I love bringing these treats to friends who, in turn, are surprised by the artistry and thrilled with the tastes. And just when I think that there couldn't be any more flavor combinations, Elizabeth creates another one. I'm looking forward to what she will have for summer tastes. They are sure to be delicious!“

“WMFB created 2 outstanding cakes for my birthday/eclipse party- the chocolate buttercream, the tender chocolate cake, the homemade raspberry preserve filling- all superb! And decorations were truly inspired. Many people at the party took home pieces for later after eating their first slice. I could not have been more pleased- well done!“

“Cookies were delicious...trust me, you do not want to sit down and eat a whole cookie yourself.. sugar overload ha ha. Cookies were a good size, soft, sweet and tastes good. The staff was wonderful, full of smiles and very nice. So I give a 5 star rating. They are very pricey.“

“The owner came in while my mother and I were having coffee. Mother wanted to take coffee for a friend back with her. The owner roasted a little extra for a little longer just for her to take back. Thank you so much! Her friend was thrilled!! I highly recommend this place. Wonderful people!!“
“This was a cool little grocery store/shop. We stopped in to find some Vermont maple syrup which they had. They have a bit of stuff to look at and a lot of unique stuff and some goofy stuff. Plenty of stuff to buy to bring home to friends and family. If you are nearby it is a good spot to stop at for a little bit.“
“Wow. What a cool story, history, and the bread omg. Beautiful buildings. Hard to find the actual bakery but just keep driving the 1,600 acres and ask around. It’s worth it. Highly recommend watching the videos on this profile to get an idea. This is ARTISAN bread. Impressive for a dinner party for sure.“

“Very cool coffeeshop right in front of the Co-op has great coffee and standout pastries - best croissant ? in Burlington so far - still have more to try. The building itself is a yuppie dream warehouse situation.Parking: Parking is tricky to get into because the access road right next to the coffeeshop is one way. Enter through the Howard center and there is another entrance in back.“
