“I had the special sandwich of the day and it was great. It's called the BTM. Two of my buddies also had the sandwich and they concur. Tater tots were just right, too.I loved the place. I grew up in WI and am very familiar with small town neighborhood bars. This place felt very comfortable to me. And the server, who may have been the owner or a partner, did a great job. He had us laughing from the time we arrived. This will be my go to place whenever I'm in the area.“

“There's many bars / taverns / pubs etc. around the general area but this has become my partner and I's favorite and most visited spot to go out for food and drinks. They have an amazing beer selection and there food is made with so much love and soul.Everything on their menu is great from my experience but also they have a unique entree on special every day and a different scratch-made soup each day of the week. My partner and I order the specials almost every time we go: the entree or the soup or both! And they never disappoint. Their clam chowder (w/ bacon) is the best I've ever had. From their regular menu I highly recommend the french dip sandwich or any burger.“

“Had The Big Lebowski with a tall root beer - insanely good. Only problem was I drank all the root beer too close to bedtime and it made me pee all over my wife’s aunt’s rug in the middle of the night. Man, that rug really tied the room together.“

“Doyle’s has been first rate! A small group from our British car club has met at Doyle’s four times in the past year. Their small meeting room, ‘The Snug,’ has been ideal for our group. Service and food has been excellent. Staff are very friendly. We inquired about a niche British Ale that’s hard to find, ‘Old Speckled Hen.’ - They found it and it’s now available from the bar! ‘All the Best’ to the fine folks at Doyle’s Public House. CHEERS!!“
“I'm a big fan of otters so when I was driving by this place while visiting Tacoma it was a no brainer! Delicious ciders as a non-beer fan, and everyone was so friendly! We took advantage of their board games and hung out for a while. Quite a fun souvenir too as I bought a shot glass!!“

“The food was fantastic. Our server Angie was on point, friendly and attentive. Drinks and beer were cold and strong. Loved it!“
“Overall good vibe with fun female bartenders! A bit busy downstairs by the bar where the one pool table was always occupied. Upstairs where we hung out were big buck hunting (brought back good ol Hawkeyes college years!), foosball table and old school non-electric dart with chalk-score board! We were recommedned the place a cute local gay couple during our ramen outing at Mochi and had to hit the place up. It did not disappoint! Will definitely be back!“

So fun & so fair with allocating the customers singing so everyone had a chance to sing! The crowd was the best I had ever been privileged to be around! “Stopped in for a quick lunch because my kiddo loves giant pretzels and it was our fun day out. It was quiet midweek so we had super fast service both in food prep and seating. I had the Cheesy Brit which was also pretty good.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu but we only came for one thing so I didn't get a peek at it.“

“Can't rate the food anymore. Had to find another place to get my daily takeout. They changed the best part of my normal meals. Tried it 3 times. Can't get the hang of it. Not for me.I love the people who work there. They were always great to me. So much so they would answer the phone saying hello Kevin. I don't drink so I'm going to miss them & the atmosphere when I did eat in the pub with friends. Thanks for the great run. Anyone who leaves a bad review about service is just having a bad day or just likes to complain about everything. Never had an issue with anyone. Even when super busy they always got it right. Be patient & wait your turn unlike the previous review.“
“Our Mother's Day Brunch was delicious and the waiter was super attendant and helpful. I would however offer feedback that the cottage potatoes could have been diced smaller, perhaps cooked a little longer in some olive oil with less seasoning. The cuts were quite large, seemed to be coated in too many spices and cooked in an air fryer or oven but not long enough for the potatoes to be soft.“

“The food is great overall. Items tried were the seasonal kusshi oysters, dungeoness crab BLAT, smoked salmon avocado toast, and of course some cocktails. (Ginger pineapple and spicy Bloody Mary). The only things that in my opinion were not up to par was the dungeoness crab BLAT and the Bloody Mary. I am a traditionalist when it comes to dungeoness crab and believe that less can be more. This was a mix of crab, aioli, panko, and other seasonings which deterred from the natural delicacy of the crabmeat. It is a way to reduce the cost of the sandwich so I can understand the premise but I believe if it costed more and had more crab that was not smothered in other seasonings it would definitely be worth it. The Bloody Mary is probably 3/5 no thought really into the mix. Just kind of tomato juice tasting and even the help of the pepper vodka to spruce it up couldn't take me there. NOW for the good stuff. The oysters were some of the best in my life! Excellent pairings and worth every penny. Petit oysters are so bursting with flavor. I cannot even begin to describe how pleased I was with these. The avocado toast is what I had for brunch while visiting the establishment about 3 years ago and HAD to retry again. It has been changed from being served on a larger piece of bread to four small pieces but the elements are all the same and still delicious but I would be amiss if I did not mention I miss the old way of how it was served. I cannot wait to return“
